Awesome hole in the wall spot in a shopping center. Doesn't look like much inside or out (definitely more of a carry out) but the staff is friendly and the food is solid. As a vegetarian, it can be a challenge to get good food while out on the road. Their vegetable curry (a yellow, more Japanese style curry) is full of fresh zucchini, broccoli, and carrots. It is served in a generous portion over rice. It was served hot and fresh. I easily stretched it to lunch and dinner! They offer numerous tofu options, as well. My colleagues got the chicken curry and Cajun chicken, which they raved about. They also ordered a sushi roll with crab and said it was great (it was HUGE!). The menu offered whole fish, shrimp, and many other options. Certainly something for everyone. Will definitely be back for the veggie curry next time I'm in Franklin for work. My go to meal at this place is hibachi noodles and the chicken fried rice. The chicken egg fried rice is absolutely delicious. 10/10. The service is always friendly and fast. Always mannered and just good energy. The ambiance is pretty good. They have a little drink fridge to the right side when you walk in. They have multiple kinds of drinks. I have never had a bad meal here and they have excellent sushi and hibachi. My go to spot for chicken fried rice with yum yum sauce.

Based on the good reviews, this place seemed like a must try for lunch! Wow we were wrong. Lady recommended $20 hibachi... for lunch? I dont think so. She said the curry chicken lunch was great, at $10 it was still steep but I love some curry. I think this is the first time I was totally turned off by the smell and taste of a curry. The objects floating in the curry were just as bad I attempted to remove them from the sludge. Then went for a bit of rice and it assumed the shape of the styrofoam, way overcooked. The steak cheeze egg roll was my savior, took a bite to find a better flavor, but steak chunks that were almost impossible to chew. I can't recommend this place. read more

One of Franklin's best. Been eating there for years off and on, and still my family's favorite takeout restaurant. Great customer service, delicious food with quality, and pricing is pretty fair. We like their sushi rolls, fish, hibachi, curry dishes, and fried rice. We can taste the quality fresh vegetables, meat, and seasoning. They are family owned, hard working married couples with lovely children. I support small local businesses like this one that is so positivity in the Franklin area. Highly recommended. I still haven't figured out how the few people who had reviewed this place prior had dubbed it with 5 stars, although don't get me wrong it's not bad! However, I get the feeling it's most likely a mixture of lack of selection in this smallerish town, and the need to get out a bit more to try new and different places. It's a mom and pop place (of which I typically always love to go to and truly enjoy what their cooking up), and the little daughter chilling here and watching cartoons on her tablet was absolutely adorable! She gets a five star by the way for being such a trooper as her parents work so hard at making this eatery a success! The prices were ok, and didn't realize there was an all day smaller portion hibachi menu section (under rice section) until I already ordered the dinner hibachi chicken option and didn't see that listed on the lunch menu as a food choice. I should have taken more time to look over the menu in detail (a price difference of dinner being 10.95 and smaller all day option of 6.95). My two sons that were with ordered and shared the chicken stick teriyaki rice lunch meal, and I the already mentioned hibachi chicken. They said their food was "ok"...which means eatable but not super flavorful. They are all about that zing, and both of our meals needed more flavors/zing! I enjoyed the fresh veggies in my hibachi chicken (zucchini, carrots, and broccoli) but would have liked them to actually cook up on the grill the chicken, veggies, and "fried/grilled" rice. The chicken seemed slightly grilled in flavor, and the veggies definitely did...but the rice seemed oddly buttery and peppery and not so much fried/grilled. The veggies were not mixed with the rice which I felt would have been a good combination to have cooked the two together real quick Prior to serving, but to each their own! Honestly, we all have our own differing opinions on how we like to eat and enjoy our food items. Me personally, I am a mixer :). The place and location itself works, the setup where you order at front and can mostly see the guy at grill cooking it is good. But a key ingredient is missing, and that's the flavor of it all. Hibachi and teriyaki flavors are not mild flavors...they should make your taste buds dance, and presently that's just not happening! But an easy correction to dial it up a notch ingredients/flavors whise to make their food sing praises for itself! This place hasn't been around all that long, and doesn't seem to stay super busy either. I think many locals may just enjoy this place if their only willing to try something new! But I am unsure if this nice family owned place will make it in this small town or not. Only time will tell I guess. But definitely feel it's worth a try! I have only been here once, so can only say from this one experience that it wasn't too bad! The eatery was clean and inviting, and the staff were very nice and accommodating, and the fresh veggies in my dish very good! Food is delicious and service is top notch. It's nice to not have to venture 30+ miles to get a Hibachi fix! Fried rice with yum yum sauce is always a good bet. Kids love the doughnuts! Prices can be a little steep, but in my opinion it's worth it. read more

Though it's nice to have a mediocre sushi and hibachi place nearby when the craving hit, it sucks when they nickel and dime you. I placed an order over the phone or sushi and a vegetarian hibachi. I gave the woman my card when I walked in and asked for Yum Yum sauce. She told me one dollar and I said put it on the card with the rest of the bill. I can't have already charged the bill was her response. It was $.25 to void the transaction out and do it again. Call even get hibachi without the Yum Yum sauce? It's usually given to you at all other hibachi restaurant. Instead it was a $16 meal for one person with just one sushi roll and vegetarian hibachi. What a rip off! They have an eclectic menu - sushi, curries, hibachi, eccentric takes on american items, and other surprises. The food is relatively cheaply priced, and you get sufficient portions. The restaurant's appearance is a bit rough and unpolished; just embrace it. I got the curry shrimp, and I tried several of their sushi rolls. The dishes were all well balanced, and freshly prepared. The wasabi was on point. I can tell they really care about the food. Unfortunately, I live out of state. But, if I should ever find my way back to the area, then I will be returning to this restaurant. Best place to eat in Franklin (and the surrounding area) if you're wanting anything other than pizza (go to Pino's for that). They're incredibly friendly, clean, and the food is amazing. I've never been disappointed with my orders here. My favorite is the Spicy Tofu! Try it. You'll love it too! read more
