I only waited a few minutes after. I received my food. It was well packaged. They offered me some salsa. I took the red, green and the bag with some lemons and cucumber. I ordered a vampiro with carne asada and al pastor(con todo), chicken taco, birria taco ( con todo) I'm going to start with my favorite, to my least favorite. Vampiro: visually it looked very appetizing. I was excited to try it. The looks were not deceiving! It was flavorful crunchy. It made me happy when I bit into it. My only Takeaway would be that it was a bit greasy. Aside from that, I loved it! Chicken taco: this one surprised me. When I bit into it, it had a nice smoky flavor in the meat. Very tasty! With a dash of the red and green salsa with a lemon squeeze! it really elevated it more. My only Takeaway would be a little dash of some salt overall I enjoyed this taco and it was delicious. Birria taco: this one made me sad. It was my least favorite and I love Birria. It lacked flavor the meat was chewy even with the salsa and lemon, I hated it. Super greasy although it looked beautiful it was not it. I wish I could have scored it better. I spent $14.80 I think this included the tip.

I ate it 2 days later, reheated it.. still bomb!! I read some reviews saying the carne asada was flavorless and lacking seasoning.. uh... I disagree! Either they went on a bad day or I went on a great day! Right now I'm going to claim this is my favorite wet burrito.. so flavorful! But I'll try it again in the future and see if it stands by it's flavor. If it doesn't.. I'll update ;) Did I mention how HUGE this is?? 2 people have been eating it and it's 75% gone lol

I got the nacho (don't hate but I don't like sour cream or guacamole so u won't see them in the pictures) I get here and it's a cool little taco stand! You order in 1 window and pick up in another and service was under 5 mins. I'm giving them 5 stars but I REALLY wishes the cheese to be melted on the nachos! I got their carne asada and it was good! The green salsa hit the spot! I would definitely come back and try more things off the menu u. But for $12 you get fresh agua Fresca, nachos and 2 tacos. Jack better watch out!

I asked a question about their aguas frescas and the guy answered super sarcastic. At that point I didn't even feel like asking anything else. I had a very long busy day and just because of that I don't go answering people sarcastically when asked something. Food wise, the tacos my bf order were not the greatest. He ordered lengua, buche and suadero. Lengua was a little tough and the other two had no flavor. As for my order, I had quesa birria tacos and they were okay, the salsa and chile made a difference, can't say the same for my bf order. Let's talk about cleanliness, floors dirty, tables dirty. I can understand it was a busy night because there seem to be having students and parents from a Friday night high school football game but I believe this is the time where they should be on their A game and have someone walking around cleaning tables. Salsa area was a mess and noone to clean it. This was our first and last time coming in.

It was good, but I was thinking that this might be the best ever. It wasn't that. Just as good as any taco truck. Still good, but I'm glad I went because it wasn't special for me and I no longer have to be bound by curiosity. I'll be able to get this experience elsewhere for a lot less money. To me the GOAT is Tire Shop Taqueria in downtown LA. It's still very inexpensive there, and every bite is a savor. I live in Hermosa Beach, and we have an outpost of tacos Tamix. Luckily for me, this didn't dethrone that place So, I have a new rating system......I will write what I feel honestly about an establishment. The only ratings I will give are 5 stars, which is enjoyable, or 3 stars which is "needs work." I thought about leaving 4 stars, but then thought about my new rating system.

Ordered a carne asda taco and an adobado taco in both and flour tortilla and corn tortilla. I love the flour tortilla so much!!!! It had nice charred flavor to it that was delicious. Would just get the flour next time! It's a food truck. There was no line to place our order but getting our food took around 15 min. Food came with onions, peppers, salsas and pico de gallo! Would def get this more often if it was closer. They had seats under a tent to eat and street parking in the neighborhood.

Plate with beef birria ($18.99). While the food took a little while to come out, it was absolutely worth the wait. The O.G. Burrito was generously filled with cheese, rice, beans, and tender carne asada, all wrapped in a perfectly toasted tortilla. The meat had a wonderful smoky flavor, and the burrito itself was huge, making it a filling and satisfying meal for the price. The highlight for me was the O.G. Plate, which came with a taco, quesataco, mulita, and quesadilla. Everything was loaded with meat and toppings, served piping hot, and cooked to crispy perfection. Every single item on the plate was delicious! I also loved that both entrées came with pickled radishes, red and green salsa, and plenty of lime wedges. The service was excellent as well. The staff was attentive and quick to accommodate anything we needed. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. While indoor seating is limited, there is ample outdoor seating. Overall, Papis Tacos and Churros was an unexpected gem that delivered on great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I've been thinking about this meal ever since, and I can't wait to come back!

Every bite is loaded with savory goodness, and dipping them into that deep, flavorful broth just takes it to another level. Easily some of the best birria tacos around. And you cannot leave without trying the churros. Fresh, warm, and coated in just the right amount of cinnamon sugar, they're the perfect sweet ending to an already amazing meal. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside--exactly how churros should be. Overall, Papi Tacos & Churros delivers on flavor, quality, and experience. Whether you're going for the hype or just looking for legit, delicious food, this spot does not disappoint. Definitely coming back for more!
