Our server was polite and professional. They did run out of miso soup, but they quickly put together an onion soup in lieu of the miso soup. The alcoholic drinks were good, although I've had better Mai Tai's at other places. The restaurant has a great ambiance. It's obvious that they put time, thought, and money into the decor. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is a good place for larger groups, but I recommend making reservations more than 24 hrs in advance, especially if you want a hibachi table as they are limited.

There was definitely some "bad" fish (tasted old) in the rolls, which fell completely apart the moment you attempted to pick them up. Ambiance? The large bowl of rice sitting outside the bathroom was a bad look. The server was nice enough, but the best service in the world could not offset the poor quality of the food. I have had better sushi from the grocery store and from Sam's Club. The saddest part? I had been wanting to try "the best sushi in Springfield" for the last two years! For your reference- we had 4 rolls- spicy tuna, Alaska roll (salmon), French kiss (shrimp tempura, crab, salmon), and Caribbean orgazam (soft shell crab, salmon). There was not a good roll in the bunch. Seriously, this is not the place to go for sushi.

For sure it's even cheap for around here. There's a few locals always at the bar it seems. After many of the other places around here have closed, it was a later night option for us to get drinks and a bite. It was pretty quiet inside. This place isn't a wild hangout most times. It has a pretty simple menu. There's the most basic stuff. It's about $5 for the cheapest Irish whiskey, not bad. The food can be even cheaper if you can believe it. Fries are $3, and these are about the healthiest food here you can get. The rest of the food mostly is meats. Good place to get something cheap. It may not always be good food, in fact it usually isn't, but most people just come for the drinks so they don't really care too much about any of the food. They also have games including arcades and slots for those looking for entertainment and things.

The menu is huge -- there are so many rolls (one reason to order from your table so you're not standing there staring at the menu). Complete with a nice serving of wasabi and ginger. The Firecracker Salmon roll was amazing -- a deep fried roll, but the salmon was perfectly rare and melt-in-your-mouth good.
