Deep Fried Pierogis / Grilled Onions / Kielbasa / Sour Cream
    Chase B.

I have nothing negative to say about the Kielbasa Bus! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Their food is always SPOT on, the flavor of the pierogis with the grilled onions is chefs kiss. I've never tasted such an amazing kielbasa sausage before, so juicy, so much flavor. The truck is super cute and they have the entire menu written on the front of the truck in big letters that is super easy to read!

Finally got to sample the outstanding Polish food at the Anderson Snow park for the July 2nd Red, White and Brews Festival. Only my Babcia's kitchen would surpass the kielbasa I had - together with three potato and cheese pierogi served with sour cream. Thoroughly enjoyed everything - and totally forgot to take a photo of my dinner. (But there's always next time!) Whenever you see this food truck, run, don't walk, over to get the food made with love! So happy I got to enjoy it that I will go looking for them in the future!

Extraordinary food from an extraordinary family. You MUST check them out! My fiance and I tried their keilbasa, fried cheese pierogis, Polish fries, and veggie Zapiekanka (Polish version of French bread pizza ) and everything was exceptional. I've never had pierogis as incredible as their's! They are fried to perfection and stuffed to the brim with creamy cheese! The kielbasa was smothered in buttered onions and dill and the Zapiekanka has this wonderful smokiness to it and was oozing with cheese We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

The vibe is just from another time and another place! Delicious and hearty breads to start- pierogi galore as our appetizer- huge and tender cabbage rolls- juicy and thick cuts of pork. Dinner is pretty pricey- but the portion size on the entrees makes it worth the $$. PS-Are you not too sure about Polish food? Consider Cracovia for lunch with more affordable options or smaller portions offered- makes it an easier choice when you are being adventurous and try something new to you.

She greeted me warmly as usual. Since I used to live in the Chicago-South Bend, IN area, I provided her a little garden flag from the Pierogi Festival I would attend when I was up in that area. She hung it proudly in her deli and thanked me for the gift. I thanked her for bringing authentic Polish food back into my life! I purchased the Polish kielbasa sausage again as well as the Polish ham. Both were exceptional the last time I purchased them. This time, I added frozen pierogies-one made with cheese and the other with sauerkraut. It reminded me of the pierogies my mom used to make, and I cannot wait to serve them for the holidays. I then asked Monica if she had any golabki (stuffed cabbage). She said, "I just made some fresh this morning." I purchased a package of three. I had two of them later that evening and they brought back great memories of my past. They were as good as babcia (grandmother) used to make! It's always fun and entertaining to stop in here and enjoy a laugh with Monica. If you want authentic Polish supplies, this is the place to go!

Polish trio dish was the perfect start to trying Polish food. I have never had Polish food so this appetizer was a great sampler of the classic peirogi, potato pancake, and sausage - all of these were a 5 out of 5. My favorite was the meat peirogi. Stuffed cabbage (golabki) was hearty (5 out of 5). The tomato sauce tasted simple and brought the dish together. It had good ratios. My favorite was the mashed potatoes because it tasted like it had no additives such as heavy cream, but rather just straight potatoes. Cucumber and dill salad was a refreshing side. It was nice having fresh vegetables to balance the heaviness of the appetizer and entree. The seating arrangement is quaint, which I liked. Our waitress was very nice and answered our questions well. Service was quick. Everything we ate was as if everything was made from scratch from whole foods with someone's home recipe. I would 100% go again and try out their other dishes.

This day we stopped for dinner and we ordered Dill Pickle Soup($7.99), Cold Cut Platter for 2 ($11.99) which had Kabanoski Sausage, forest sausage, country sausage, wedding sausage, bread and pickle, and 12 Mix Pierogi Plate ($19.99) which had 3 potato and cheddar, 3 potato and farmers cheese, 3 kraut and mushroom and 3 pork. The food is really really good. We were delightfully surprised at how tasty the Dill Pickle soup is. The Pierogis we ordered pan sautéed and they were all very tasty. The Cold Cuts were all really nice too. The decor is fairly dark in black and dark red with alligator print table and booth coverings. There is also a store inside selling a decent selection of candies, canned goods, sausages and frozen pierogi to take home. Service is friendly and as attentive as we wanted. This is a highly recommended place to experience. We can't wait to return on a future trip to the area.

The veal was incredibly tender, and the gravy was packed with flavor. It was a satisfying entrée that came with two sides. For my sides, I chose the pierogies and spätzle. The pierogies were honestly my favorite part of the meal. They were fluffy, cheesy, and generously filled. So delicious. I could have eaten a whole plate of just those. The spätzle was soft and well prepared, but compared to everything else, I found it a little boring. The restaurant itself is very cute and has a lot of character. I loved browsing the selection of German snacks, candy, and other imported items available for purchase. It added to the overall experience and made the place feel unique. While I'm not that familiar with German food, I thought this was a pretty good restaurant. Overall, I found German cuisine a little more muted than what I'm personally used to, but I still really enjoyed the meal and the experience. I'd be interested in trying more of the menu.

I had such high hopes for this place. :( The selection is very limited and perhaps I missed something (entirely possible), but I did not see a price list for the deli case. We did find a unique assortment of other German products- some we haven't seen in many years. The restaurant portion was quite busy and the customers looked happy. We were flooded with nostalgia and left in hopes of dining in on a less-busy day. I ordered two meats, including the German bologna. During the drive home, my family and I noticed a terrible odor-- the kind where we started pointing fingers at one another. We never suspected that the package from the deli was the source. When we opened it at home, a nauseatingly funky, ammonia-type smell came from the German bologna. While the liverwurst smelled okay, I could not trust it after the bologna and decided against keeping it. Wasted time and money. Dang! The staff is super nice and that was truly a plus. However, I doubt we will be back. My family is very bummed over this.
