We ordered the pickle soup, polish trio dish, and the pork schnitzel. Everything was so delicious and highly recommend! The service was good and there was ample seating. Would love to go back and try the beef goulash next time!

It is very intimate Polish restaurant in Orlando, probably the only one if you are craving Russian or eastern European food. 1. Reservation: not necessary. they have enough space and seatings. 2. Food: 4 stars - borscht: it must have been cooked long time ago, cause it tastes very thick and day old at least - goulash: very good - pancakes: good - pierogi: not so good 3. Drinks: simple choices like wine and beer. They have Polish beer too 4. Service: great 5. Ambience: comfortable booths and love the spacing between tables. Good privacy.

A phenomenal and homely hole-in-the-wall. The food was delicious and comfy, staff attentive and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was so welcoming! Had a great time, we got the platter and pork schnitzel ~ two main entrees with plenty of sides, and was more than enough for us plus leftovers. We also tried the papal cream cake which was absolutely amazing. Totaled us ~$70 for everything and it was more than worth it. If you're seeking authentic Polish food this is the place!

Anna's is the type of restaurant that serves such delicious food, you can overlook pretty much everything else! I don't say that lightly but I was so thoroughly pleased by the meal! On arrival, we did have to wait. But that's on us for not making reservations. Definitely call ahead if you plan to dine during peak. But our party of five was seated at what was really a table sized for four. It was a bit of a squeeze and somewhat awkward but we managed. Additionally, the service was a bit slow due to understaffing. The restaurant was packed and I saw two servers holding it down all night. We were seated at 7:30 and didn't get a check until 10pm. That said, the server was very friendly and as attentive as he could be given the circumstances. The long wait was ultimately worth it. We started the table with some potato pancakes which were divine. They came served with sour cream and applesauce and the applesauce was such a hit! It was packed with cinnamon and warm spice. I loved it so much I took a side home for dessert. The main meal was varied around the table but consisted of some variety. Everyone had pierogies which were excellent! So fluffy and flavorful. They were a part of the polish platter that I had ordered and likely my favorite part of the dish. But it was a close call. The platter also included kielbasa and stuffed cabbage. I nearly cleaned the plate! This was definitely a hardy, stick to the ribs type of meal. So come hungry! I'd definitely return but would try to avoid another weekend. It was a long wait but I did enjoy the experience greatly! I highly recommend!

    Delish! Please visit them!

Silesian Dumplings With Meat (Pyzy) with Wazanki side

My daughter loves this restaurant. It was her pick for an early birthday celebration. The interior is quaint with pleasant lighting and soft music playing. Our server was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The homemade, from scratch quality of the food is evident. No shortcuts are taken to deliver savory, delicious dishes. The sausage served with the Polish Trio is superb. The homemade applesauce combined with the sour cream on the potato pancakes really takes it up a notch. I had the Polish Cabbage Noodles (Wazanki) as a side. Next time I would order it as an entrée because it was heavenly. I love supporting small, family-owned businesses and this one is very deserving of devoted patronage.

It's easy to drive by and not notice this gem of a family-owned restaurant in Winter Park. My husband spotted it and we decided to give it a try. So glad we did! When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by Joanna and she was also our server. The recipes on the menu are her mom's/family recipes, so her recommendations were even more helpful as she explained the menu to us. We opted for the sampler-style appetizer to get a taste of several things on the menu. The potato pancakes were dense and tasty with the sour cream and cinnamon spreads on the side. The cinnamon "jam" was very cinnamon-y. I loved it, but just a heads up. Kielbasa was cooked perfectly. Soft and juicy inside, a little crusty shell but not hard. Pierogis were the star to me. Light dumplings filled with pork in one and sauerkraut in the other - I need a plate of these for my last meal. We decided to share the entrees and glad we did! Gypsy Potato Pancake was Joanna's top suggestion and she wasn't wrong. Pancakes stacked with goulash (yes please!) very hearty dish, come hungry or with my husband who helped me finish it. The Silesian Dumplings with Meat Pyzy are round potato dumplings stuffed with ground pork meat served with your choice of bacon pieces or homemade mushroom sauce and one side order. My husband selected the mushroom sauce which was light and flavorful (I tasted a hint of white wine) and side of fingerling dumplings, which were light tasting similar to pierogis but no filling. The ambiance feels inviting and cozy, like we're in Anna's kitchen. Artwork and artifacts from Poland around the restaurant add to the cultural feel as you eat some of the best Polish food I've ever had!

My first time at Anna's will not be my last. I wanted to try everything on the menu, and stared at everything that passed my table with envy. Every table in the restaurant was filled, and the Polish conversations overheard from the kitchen made me smile.

    Are reservations recommended?

    No they are not.

What is the latest you can go and have a sit down meal?

Probably around 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 8 pm on other days. If you want to spend long time there and enjoy, get appetizer, drinks, meal, desserts then I would say come in an hour before it's set to close.

She greeted me warmly as usual. Since I used to live in the Chicago-South Bend, IN area, I provided her a little garden flag from the Pierogi Festival I would attend when I was up in that area. She hung it proudly in her deli and thanked me for the gift. I thanked her for bringing authentic Polish food back into my life! I purchased the Polish kielbasa sausage again as well as the Polish ham. Both were exceptional the last time I purchased them. This time, I added frozen pierogies-one made with cheese and the other with sauerkraut. It reminded me of the pierogies my mom used to make, and I cannot wait to serve them for the holidays. I then asked Monica if she had any golabki (stuffed cabbage). She said, "I just made some fresh this morning." I purchased a package of three. I had two of them later that evening and they brought back great memories of my past. They were as good as babcia (grandmother) used to make! It's always fun and entertaining to stop in here and enjoy a laugh with Monica. If you want authentic Polish supplies, this is the place to go!

I was a bit early for my pickup, and while I waited I was even offered a water. It smells so incredible in here that I was already so excited for my meal. I ordered the Polish plate, because it's my first experience trying Polish cuisine. I wanted an opportunity to try many different dishes, and this plate included Golabki, Potato & Cheese Pierogis, Potato Pancakes, and one Polish Sausage. A friend of mine raved about his mother's golabki for years, so naturally I started my meal with that. Wow, it was incredible! It almost reminded me of a spaghetti dish with its vivid tomato flavor. I really love that the roll holds together well when you're eating it with a knife and fork. I'm going to ask my friend for a recipe because it seems like it would be a good go to meal. I think my next favorite item was the polish sausage. I do enjoy eating sausages, but sometimes I'm just not a fan of how some are seasoned. That wasn't a problem with this polish sausage, because it was delicious and flavored just to my liking. Now pierogis I have tried before, and I'm not sure if they are polish origin or a neighboring country, but I have always enjoyed them. These cheese and potato pierogis were exactly as I expected them. They were cooked well and stuffed with filling. I shared a few with my nephew who is a bit picky, and to our surprise he was enjoying them. I would definitely give another flavor option a try! The final item was the potato pancakes and I think they were cooked well, but I think I would have preferred a little more salt to bring out the flavor. I plan to research Polish food after this visit and see how each dish is usually eaten. There were 3 condiments that accompanied my meal, but I didn't use them. For the most part, each dish was delicious all on its own. The Polish plate is definitely enough to share between 2 people, and you'd probably have just enough room for dessert as well. I know the pistachio cheesecake will definitely see me, if I find myself in the Daytona beach area again! Thank you Dill Schnitzel & Pierogi House for an amazing first experience with Polish cuisine!

It was literally steps to the beach so that was nice to stroll out there before/after. After poking around some shops, I made my way upstairs to Dill! The place is cute and colorful! Loved the European decor! I was there on a Tuesday night and there were only 2 other tables sat so pretty dead at the time. Server was lovely, cheerful, and helpful! They don't have a full bar but do serve beer and wine so was able to get a glass of vino. I really wanted schnitzel and pierogies but unfortunately you can only get the pierogies by the dozen (unless you get the big combo meal which comes with 6 rogis and a shit ton of other food). Problem was, I had a 6am flight the next morning so no way I would be able to eat any leftovers. I asked if there was ANY way I could just get like 2 rogis and she unfortunately said no (I totally get it, but maybe add smaller options in the future!). So I went with a cup of borscht soup and the pork schnitzel. The soup was served hot (I've only ever had it cold) and was very good! The schnitzel was legit the biggest schnitzel I've ever seen in my life and it's a GOOD THING I didn't get rogis in addition to it lol. I immediately cut it in half and was only able to eat that much. I got the mushroom sauce too and that was so yummy with the schnitzel! The potatoes and slaw were very good too, loved how refreshing the slaw was!! You would never think to look for this kind of food in Daytona of all places, but it's definitely worth a stop! If I had anyone dining with me, I could see getting a few dishes to split because of how large the schnitzel was. Wonderful place with great service and delicious food, just wish I was able to try those rogis!

I am most intrigued by the grocery options and they carry a few unique items that I've not seen in bigger brand stores like Walmart, Publix or Sprouts. A few times that I've come in since, I have seen some ladies in the back hand rolling dough for the pastries or other breaded goods sold. I do know that if you purchase a meat pie or pastry, that they will offer to warm it up for you. I've had a meat pie and a Danish and they both were delicious. It seems that most people order food items to go, however, they do have a quiet corner that appears to be set for indoor dining use. The prices of everything seem pretty reasonable and fair to me. I'm surprised at the variety of items that they carry given the small square footage that they have - they have done well. I think that this is definitely a gem hidden in plain sight.
