All of the directors and teachers know every kid's name, and there is genuine joy from the staff every time a child walks through the front door. They send us daily updates on how my daughter is doing, what she did throughout the day (AMAZING and DYNAMIC curriculum!) what she ate, and even when she went to the bathroom (as a parent, you need to know!) from day one my husband and I have always felt that our daughter was safe and incredibly well loved and cared for by the teachers and directors. The staff are responsive to any calls/texts/emails right away, and are genuinely interested in not only the child, but the family. I only wanted to bring my child here because she was familiar with a teacher from another daycare that recently started working there. 2nd problem, my children stopped going there in october of 2022 and this daycare was sending attendance forms to child action for november and december. My children were not going there at that time. So they were trying to get extra money from the county for my children that no longer attended that daycare. Idk if this was a racial thing or what but whatever it was, was a mistake because ive lived in Rancho my whole life, I know alot of people out here and I will always tell anyone with kids not to waste their time with this place. My kids go to kindercare now and they love it. So much different and they dont do illegal stuff! Its great! Beware genius kids and the people who work there.

I want a full refund right away. I should've known better but I really need an afterschool program for my daughter. I use them last year and there was a lot of disorganization and dysfunction. My daughter's art teacher last spring was horrible. Always on her phone. It was one teacher for over 16 kids. The teacher was supposed to be teaching art and the art projects would come back as pencil work on some scrap paper. I had no idea what I'm paying for. When I asked her why I was getting back scrap paper with pencil work. She said to me that she ran out of supplies and the dream enrichment office wasn't dropping off a replenishment of supplies for her, so she was just using scrap paper and pencils for multiple weeks. I recommended this after school program to my brother and sister-in-law for early engineers because my nephew loves legos and they were desperate looking for after school programs. I'm going to tell them to not send my nephew to this class because there are other programs out there. Please don't waste your money. Everything seems disorganized and very last minute. I also have to say that kids in the class do whatever they want and once they did get a replenishment of supplies they were very old and broken, such as broken crayons. I will never ever use this after school program again. Please save your money.

You can truly tell they care about the children as individuals. Prior to this, he attended another daycare where it felt like the teachers didn't really know him or pay attention to his needs and as parents, we could feel that. The difference here is night and day. My son is happy, comfortable, and clearly feels safe, which means everything to us. The teachers are always communicative and collaborative, working with us on what's working (or not working) for our toddler. We genuinely feel like we're part of a team when it comes to his care and development. The front office staff also deserves a shout-out, they are consistently kind and understanding whenever we have questions or special requests for our son. I appreciate their attentiveness to us as parents. Every school will have critique coming from families, including from us. But, admin staff and teachers have always been open in having discussions on ways they can improve, how they can correct an issue, and how they can support our family and son's learning and social development. Open communication and a plan of action or improvement are wha we seek with any issues that we bring up, and the staff has always met these expectations. Our son has grown attached to his pre-school and pre-K teachers. So much so that he says goodbye to his old teachers everyday during pick ups. A good coach teaches his player how to do an exercise to avoid injury. Instead of teaching my son how to lift weights to avoid injury, Coach Mike Hacker would ridicule my son in front of his peers and yell "that's why you have injuries, because you're doing it wrong." Mike did not show him the "correct" way to lift the weight. There was another instance where my son and one of his peers were spotting each other on some weights. Coach Mike yelled at the other boy to get out of his weight room for talking to my son and told him he won't bother sending my son out of the room because my son is not worth it. There are numerous instances of mental and verbal abuse from Coach Mike on the field as well. None of these instances were constructive but personal. I will not mention them in order to protect my son's identity. We have read about coaches who ridicule and verbally abuse certain players on their team causing the player to quit the sport for good. We never imagined this would be the case with our 13 year old. Our son had played successfully since he was 5 years old and played Majors prior to coming to BPA. We cannot express the sadness we have our son has left the sport because of his experience at BPA. We believe Coach Mike had a personal disliking for our son since he had expected to get a starting pitcher but got a kid with injuries due to growth plates not being fully fused yet. Before coming to BPA we were warned by a previous player about how he also had been verbally abused and ridiculed by Coach Mike, but we didn't believe him. We wish we had. We remember Coach Mike naming other ball clubs in the area and telling us how bad they were, that BPA was the best, even better than playing for the high school he previously taught at. We now believe this was to isolate players from considering playing for any other competing baseball club in the area. Regrettably, we convinced our son to stay longer than he should have because of this. Great leaders motivate young players to succeed by being fair, positive, patient, sincere, concerned and honest. Although Coach Mike knows baseball, these characteristics were nowhere to be found. Parents beware! There are no protections under the law for verbal and mental abuse of your adoloscent in extracarricular sports. Don't take a chance with your child's self esteem and baseball future. There are other baseball clubs in the area that develop young, successful college recruitments.
