We decided to go for a ride after visiting the nearby Zoo Sanctuary…read more The cost was $5 per person, payable by cash or card (with a $1 processing fee). The ride was around 5 minutes long. The views are of the park, adjacent street, back of the zoo fencing, & a parking lot. You can enjoy areas of nature in the park. The ride is smooth & uneventful. You don't pass by anything specific to a train experience or go under or through anything. There is a loose, thin cloth that covers the wooden seat. Although there's signage that the conductor can assist with boarding if needed, I imagine accessibility issues for some. To get into the seats in the section we found available required having to climb over the edge into the car, which had no door. I'm petite & it wasn't the easiest with my legs. However, in other posted photos, it seems a few seats in the front of the train have cutouts to walk into to make boarding easier. It's a cute experience for little ones to enjoy.

The ride itself is the perfect length, long enough to feel like a real adventure but short enough to keep a little kid engaged the whole time. The train is well kept with that classic old-school charm, and the route is scenic and relaxing. My son had a blast waving at everyone as we passed by, and honestly, I had just as much fun watching him light up with excitement. The staff was friendly and made sure everything ran smoothly. It is clear they care about making it a great experience for families. The whole thing felt well organized, and we did not have to wait long to board. If you have young kids and are looking for something fun to do in Folsom, this is a solid choice. Simple, affordable, and a guaranteed way to make some great memories. We will definitely be back.

The first thing I noticed walking in was how clean everything was. For an indoor play space, that really stood out. The layout is well thought out and there's a lot to keep kids entertained. The play structure is huge and even big enough for adults to climb in with the kids. The ninja course was a big hit and the Mario themed wall had kids lining up to try it. There are arcade games, small rides, and a separate toddler area that I really appreciated. The toddler section even has interactive screens where little ones can play games and draw, which kept the younger kids happy and busy. The staff were all fantastic. Everyone we interacted with were friendly, attentive, and very organized. Hosting a kid's birthday party can feel overwhelming, but they helped everything run smoothly so we could actually relax and enjoy the day. They even handled the small details I forgot like filing the goodie bags and blowing up balloons. The party room was spacious and nicely set up, and the overall experience felt soo easy and well coordinated. HUGE thank you to the team at Peek-A-Boo Factory for helping make the celebration so fun. We'll definitely be back for open play!

Was excited about this spot for my 2 and 4 year olds, but I'm not coming back. Kids come in and the…read morefirst thing they see is the EXPENSIVE arcade games before they even get to see the play structures to get excited about. So I got to start the adventure with saying "no" cuz I just spent $40 for their entrance fees, then another $6 for THEIR grip socks even though we came wearing our own grip socks. Now I'm the bad guy cuz my kids see flashy expensive arcade games and want to play. The arcade games are so short and so expensive for the time you get to play, and no prizes to win, just money down the drain with the stupid pre paid cards that you don't know how much is left on it. The play structure has a super unsafe feature at the front, the Mario challenge wall, I saw multiple kids probably 8 year olds climb ABOVE the Mario structure where it's a full story high and they would be seriously hurt if they fell. My last complaint is that the staff did not keep a close enough eye on the gate to make sure kids don't escape. I saw the gate just hang open as the staff chatted with each other and not watching to keep it closed. On a positive note, the play structure itself is very large and a lot of exploring opportunities for toddlers and kids, lots of slides. Structures tall enough that parents can follow a two year old almost anywhere in the structure. The place has potential to be better and safer, but I'm sticking to Enchanted for my kids, it's safer for toddlers.

Admission was $10 for anyone over age 2. No paper maps are available, but there is a map on display by the entrance that you can snap a photo of. There are elevation changes & paths to different sections, but it's a fairly easy stroll & not very big. A lot of trees provide shade & there are some benches. We saw bears, roaming peacocks, a coyote, zebu, raccoons, macaques, bobcats, many kinds of birds, donkey, horses, & more. Getting a good look at some of the animals was hit or miss. Signage gives information & facts about the animals, stories of how they came to the Sanctuary, & their names. A small gift shop is onsite with a variety of items. What makes this zoo unique is its collection of rescued wild and domestic animals that you may not typically encounter at larger commercial zoos. It's both educational and enjoyable, making it a great destination for animal lovers of all ages. If you're looking for a relaxing way to spend the morning before heading to brunch, this is an excellent stop. Both kids and adults will find plenty to enjoy, and you might even learn something new along the way. As an added bonus, the public library is located right next door, making it easy to turn your visit into a quiet, family-friendly outing. Overall, it's a peaceful and enjoyable attraction that's well worth a visit when you're in Folsom.

First, I really think it is tacky on their part to charge a separate $4 fee for the obstacle course which requires a wristband. Especially given that you then have to queue up just for a turn. While it is a cool feature it is annoying that you have to oay an entrance fee then this additional fee. I suggest they Just up the fee a couple of bucks and let anyone use it. Gripe number two, the lifeguards. Bros... chillll the F out! While I admire and respect their commitment to safety, they are a bit overzealous in regards to their enforcement of the rules. I wonder if because there are so many of them that they need to find any little thing to jump on to but the vigor that they use to address even the most minor violation such as kids running or hanging on the swim lines is so out of proportion that it is a bit absurd. I can't help but mess with them a little bit just out of spite. Aside from the issues mentioned it is a pretty cool place with a variety of options (waterside and kiddie area) that make for a fun way to beat the heat.

This place really is surprisingly effective at building kids' confidence and physical endurance…read more It's intense exercise but the kids LOVE it and are obviously having a blast. Of every class or sport my kid has ever done, this has been his absolute favorite (It's been one of my favorite activities he's done, as well!). The coaches are super positive and keep it high energy. It's only 45 minute classes (I wish they were an hour) but they don't waste any of the time. Even during their water breaks they have an activity or video on the screen that teaches confidence building skills. The coaches are very friendly and encouraging to parents , as well. My only complaint is that there often isn't enough instruction on proper form. Kids are frequently using bad form. There are only 2 instructors for the class so they can't help every kid for every activity, but there needs to be more live assistance on proper form. (I will say that I provided this feedback via a survey and the following week the coaches made a noticeable effort to help my kid with form, so they are very receptive to feedback, which is very rare these days). Every single coach there acts like they love their job. I'd think they'd have to have a passion for working with kids in order to do this job, but nonetheless, I love their business model attitude. (I was actually very hesitant to sign up as I had seen them at various festivals, and it seemed like a money grab. But after attending a single trial class, my kid was hooked, and it was evident that their entire business model revolves around building confidence in kids). I can't recommend them enough!
