They were welcoming, patient, knowledgeable, and made every student feel included. Our students had an incredible opportunity to learn about ranch and farm life, tractors, horses, foals, farm animals, hay, and the daily responsibilities of caring for a ranch. The hands-on experiences were the highlight of the day. Students were able to groom horses, interact with animals, ask questions, and gain a real appreciation for agriculture and animal care. Terry and his team kept the students engaged from beginning to end. What made this experience even more special was Terry Howard's generosity. Shadow Glen donated approximately three hours of their time at no charge to educate three classes of Center Joint Unified School District students. That level of community support is truly appreciated. Our students are still talking about the trip, and the adults had just as much fun as the kids. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish.

My lesson got cut a little short because a horse (not mine) got stuck in his reigns wrong and freaked out. They said I could ride more on my second lesson but when I tried to book my next lesson it was sold out until next year.. I'm not kidding. More than 8 months until I could book my next lesson. Very nice staff and horses but I wish their lesson bookings were more straight forward.

Our horses mean the absolute world to us, so knowing they are in good hands when we aren't there is priceless. While I was traveling out of state, one of my horses unfortunately became extremely sick and needed immediate attention. The ranch stepped in and took care of everything for me. They kept me informed every step of the way, stayed in constant communication, and made sure my horse received the care he needed. Being so far away was incredibly stressful, but knowing he was surrounded by people who genuinely cared about him gave me so much peace of mind. That level of care is what truly sets this place apart. They don't just board horses, they pay attention to them. The staff notices the little things, recognizes when something isn't quite right, and treats every horse as an individual. You simply cannot put a price on that kind of attentiveness and compassion. Beyond the incredible care, the facility itself is beautiful, with well maintained arenas, gorgeous trails, and an environment that genuinely feels like home. But as wonderful as the property is, the people are by far its greatest attribute. I'll admit, it's pretty daunting to pick up riding as an adult. It's *a lot* to learn! But I appreciate and love how DaNae motivates and challenges me each time I'm there. The facility is so beautiful and it's a huge perk to have a covered arena! And if we can't ride on rare occasions, we've got educational lessons. Everyone I've met at the facility has been welcoming. And I've also been really lucky to take my lessons with a great group of girls. I recently heard that DaNae purchased the property and it's so clear that she's putting so much love into the space. I can only anticipate positive changes ahead. Looking forward to continuing my riding lessons and can't wait to see how much I'll learn in time. Our Equine Studies courses develop students from having no horse experience, to competent horse handlers, riders, and future horse ownership. Our courses cover topics including basic horsemanship, basic care, grooming, handling, physiology, health, and ground work. We hired Argelia 2 years in advance of our June 12, 2021 wedding day because I was sooo antsy to start planning and getting all the big ticket items and preferred vendors out of the way and not be disappointed if a certain venue/vendor wasn't available. Argelia was super accommodating and responsive to our interests and wants. She helped us find all of our vendors (i.e. cake/desserts, wedding dress stores, venue, photographer, videographer, etc), which was awesome because we did not have to spend time doing any of the research. The planning process was sooo smooth and efficient and fun because of Argelia's hard work and attention to detail! There was a hiccup one month before our wedding where our initial venue cancelled on us at such a short notice. We were not stressed at all because we had full faith that Argelia would be there to support us in this challenge. She made us feel confident and comfortable with the last minute venue change. We were at ease. During our big day, Robert and I were not stress at all since Argelia coordinated everything and told us where to go and where to be. She made sure we were fed and always had a drink in our hand. She was very attentive to our needs even though we didn't ask for anything. We really really appreciate her! Even our guests complimented us on how fun, smooth, well organized and planned our wedding was! Our guests even notice how chill and calm Robert and I were before the big day because everything was all set and ready to go. She made our wedding day the best day of our lives! She will be our forever coordinator/decorator for any future events we will plan!
