My son has autism though, and so they said I needed an aide or they would not allow him to attend. So I went through hell to get the aide set up. It took weeks and hours and hours on the phone and filling out paperwork. And then I went to tour the two year old class with my son. I told them I wanted him to be with kiddos his own age to have the opportunities to learn the skills other two year olds were learning. And everything was fine, but when I was leaving after the tour they said they had decided it was a good idea to start my son in the younger classroom, which they said was 18-36 months. Even though he had a spot in the two year old class? But then when I asked for the pricing schedule for that class, it was listed as 12-24 months. My son is two and a half. So I called back and said why are you trying to put my two year old son in a class that's not for his age when you told me there is a spot in the two year old class? And they insisted there were two year olds in the class. But when I pushed to find out exactly how many, I found out they were actually moving all of the two year olds up to the two year old class right when my son would start, so he would not have any kids the same age in that class. And they had given my spot in the two year old class away to one of those kids. So now I no longer had the spot that existed for him anymore. As if life wasn't hard enough being a parent of an autistic child. It's hard as hell. And then you have to deal with people trying to deny your kid the same opportunities as other kids. My son is a sweet, gentle little two year old boy, no behavioral issues, loves being around other kids, and he was going to have an aide for the time he was there at their insistence. And he needs the opportunity to learn the same skills other kids learn in daycare. If you have an autistic child or know anyone who has an autistic child, think carefully about which businesses you want to support and which you don't.

No I cant, I work so you people can get paid, do these teachers not know how to redirect a 2 YEAR OLD and keep them from running out the door? Its pretty simple, ive been doing it for years and im not even trained with kids. After that incident they told me she couldnt come back for 3 days. The day we brought her back she bit someone and they immediately kicked her out. Every preschool and daycare ive talked to since then told me they were wrong for doing that and shouldve handled it differently. I only wanted to bring my child here because she was familiar with a teacher from another daycare that recently started working there. 2nd problem, my children stopped going there in october of 2022 and this daycare was sending attendance forms to child action for november and december. My children were not going there at that time. So they were trying to get extra money from the county for my children that no longer attended that daycare. Idk if this was a racial thing or what but whatever it was, was a mistake because ive lived in Rancho my whole life, I know alot of people out here and I will always tell anyone with kids not to waste their time with this place. My kids go to kindercare now and they love it. So much different and they dont do illegal stuff! Its great! Beware genius kids and the people who work there.

My kids are always fed on time and never miss a snack and there aren't TV's in most rooms so not sure what that other reviewer is referring too. I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old at the school. My 1 year old loves going so much she knows when I pull in the parking lot and just starts saying "hi, hi, hi" and then gets really excited. My 3 year old loves everyone there, his favorite is Ms. Dena, who pushes him to learn new things each day. She has done wonders with potty training him. My 1 year old has mild hearing loss and wears hearing aids, the staff does their best to keep them in. Ms. Debbie is close to fluent in American Sign Language and signs with her and teaches the other kids ASL. She loves the teachers in the baby room but her favorite person is Miss Hill. My 3 year old has Down syndrome and goes to a different preschool in the San Juan district in the mornings and a bus drops him off right at nap time and they are always there waiting for him. He is often extra hungry when he wakes up from his nap and they make sure he's fed. He's included in all activities and never feels left out or excluded. He started at RSG at 18 months, his peers influences have helped him learn to walk, feed himself, play independently on the playground, talk and potty train. All the teachers and staff have learned some ASL so they can communicate effectively with him since that is also his main form of communication. Ms. Ally is always a pleasure to see, she and Ms. Veronica always greet everyone with a smile making pick up and drop off very pleasant. Sure some teachers haven't been that great but no one can hire perfect employees for every position. I recommend Ready Set Go every chance I get.

On 10/7/21, my 9 year-old daughter came out fairly distraught. She brought it to my attention that the staff member, Jorge, threw a small bead from about 10' away at my daughters face. It hit roughly 1" from her left eyeball, which in turn left a welt/mark on her upper cheek. With the training and schooling child care providers receive, it is absolutely unacceptable for any adult/provider to throw, touch, flick, pinch, etc. to ANY child. I brought the incident up to Jorge - he was dismissive and said it was an "accident." Realistically, you cannot lob something from 10' away "accidentally" and leave a mark. I also spoke to Ms. Hill about the matter after asking who I could file a personal complaint with about Jorge. She specified herself as that person. I expressed my concerns and she was understanding, stating she would speak with him. I am also filing a complaint with CDSS about the incident because as stated above these staff members received training and schooling to earn these positions, licenses and certificates. Nowhere on page 11 of the Parent Handbook: Behavior Management & Discipline Policy (or any other page for that matter) does it state that the care provider is able to use any type of physical force whether that be any of the aforementioned methods. If you choose to take your school aged children here, be cautious about the individual Jorge. I'm a concerned father/parent that strives for the safety of not only my children, but all children alike. A daycare should be a safe place for all children, and a place that concerned parents trust. Once again, this is directed towards an individual and not the establishment as a whole.

You can truly tell they care about the children as individuals. Prior to this, he attended another daycare where it felt like the teachers didn't really know him or pay attention to his needs and as parents, we could feel that. The difference here is night and day. My son is happy, comfortable, and clearly feels safe, which means everything to us. The teachers are always communicative and collaborative, working with us on what's working (or not working) for our toddler. We genuinely feel like we're part of a team when it comes to his care and development. The front office staff also deserves a shout-out, they are consistently kind and understanding whenever we have questions or special requests for our son. I appreciate their attentiveness to us as parents. We're so grateful to have found this daycare and would absolutely recommend it to other families looking for a caring, supportive environment for their child.

Every school will have critique coming from families, including from us. But, admin staff and teachers have always been open in having discussions on ways they can improve, how they can correct an issue, and how they can support our family and son's learning and social development. Open communication and a plan of action or improvement are wha we seek with any issues that we bring up, and the staff has always met these expectations. Our son has grown attached to his pre-school and pre-K teachers. So much so that he says goodbye to his old teachers everyday during pick ups. We look forward to enrolling our youngest son sometime in the future!

The staff just seemed annoyed more than anything at my son as he had a hard time adjusting to his new schedule. Just about everyday he cried upon drop off and pick up. Understandably there were growing pains, but even now at his current child care facility he adjusted within 2 weeks. The staff was avoidant when we tried asking questions and when we were able to talk to them (the little conversation we were able to have) they tried to keep it as short as possible with no elaboration. The worst came less than two weeks in. There was an incident that happened which ultimately resulted with my son needing stitches in his face from one of the teachers trying to pick him up from his cot before nap time to change his diaper. The story still is not clear and conveniently there was no video of what happened and no proper incident report was provided even after requested. Hopefully others have a better experience here and everyone can be kept safe in the future.

Every question was answered, and the staff took the time to give us one-on-one attention so that we could ensure this was the right fit for our children's needs. That level of care and intentionality made all the difference for our family. They teach and live by seven core values: compassion, gratitude, honesty, love, perseverance, respect, and responsibility. Our children are encouraged to demonstrate these values daily and receive positive praise in real time as well as our children receiving written recognition that is sent home so we can continue reinforcing those lessons as parents. It truly feels like a partnership. In addition, they work with my kids on educational fundamentals such as the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes. My children both have asthma, and the staff has been extremely attentive and responsive to their needs. It brings such a peace of mind knowing they are in caring and capable hands. Any time there has been a minor injury--like a bump or fall--we immediately receive a call, an email, and a face-to-face conversation with staff so we are fully informed. Their communication is outstanding. Now that my daughter is school-aged, they continue to support her with care - during breaks- and we feel incredibly blessed to still be part of this community. The one where you drop your kid off and they don't cry, they don't run after you and make you feel horrible for having a job. They have a clean face and a full belly when you show up for them. They have a clean diaper for the ride home. They have taken and sent multiple pics thru the day. They have a smile on their face when you pick them up, not running crying to you. They have low ratio supervision. The school that you (literally) have never heard a child crying, and i have been there all hours of the day. The school where the staff is dressed appropriately according to their position. Where there is always a genuine smile (or shoulder) for you. The one where actual projects, sand play, water play, art every day are done and the rooms are not destroyed. In February, that's just what we did. I won't mention the school for privacy reasons but anyone who knows they have changed schools knows i have been raving about them. All our younger kiddos go there currently. All I'm saying is, it makes a huge difference where your children feel comfortable enough to run off from you instead of after you. The dedication toward developing the whole child is evident in interactions staff have with children. (Even in moments when I unexpectedly show up for a midday pickup- this is consistent.) Watching the teachers/staff interact with kids is a masterclass in raising tiny humans- it's honestly shaped me as a parent. I truly believe that my kids are better people because of their time spent at MM. I feel deep gratitude for the staff at this school and the community they've built. In my experience, the director bends over backward to meet the reasonable (and sometimes unreasonable) needs and concerns of families- I don't really know of anyone who feels otherwise... and I do a lot of chatting with parents at birthday parties. My belief is that preschool is about little ones exploring the world around them and learning to interact with others (which is a big enough job as it is) so my focus isn't on academics, but I know that's a big question people have: My 4 year old is going to be entering kindergarten extremely well prepared. She knows her letters and letter sounds and can sound out words, and is adding and subtracting at MM! She knows about music (calling out, "Those are drums!" "That was piano!"when we listen to songs) and excitedly tells me about the seeds they germinated in class and how flowers grow. My sense is that teachers aren't pushing kids past what they're ready for, and are instead focused on building a love for learning, but that hasn't resulted in less exposure to pre-k and kindergarten academic content. My only rec is to get on the waitlist early because it's a long one.
