My kids are currently going there and they love it ! The staff is really friendly and I love management .

Though I would rather give this establishment 1 star, I cannot due to the simple fact that I only have an issue with one staff member. On 10/7/21, my 9 year-old daughter came out fairly distraught. She brought it to my attention that the staff member, Jorge, threw a small bead from about 10' away at my daughters face. It hit roughly 1" from her left eyeball, which in turn left a welt/mark on her upper cheek. With the training and schooling child care providers receive, it is absolutely unacceptable for any adult/provider to throw, touch, flick, pinch, etc. to ANY child. I brought the incident up to Jorge - he was dismissive and said it was an "accident." Realistically, you cannot lob something from 10' away "accidentally" and leave a mark. I also spoke to Ms. Hill about the matter after asking who I could file a personal complaint with about Jorge. She specified herself as that person. I expressed my concerns and she was understanding, stating she would speak with him. I am also filing a complaint with CDSS about the incident because as stated above these staff members received training and schooling to earn these positions, licenses and certificates. Nowhere on page 11 of the Parent Handbook: Behavior Management & Discipline Policy (or any other page for that matter) does it state that the care provider is able to use any type of physical force whether that be any of the aforementioned methods. If you choose to take your school aged children here, be cautious about the individual Jorge. I'm a concerned father/parent that strives for the safety of not only my children, but all children alike. A daycare should be a safe place for all children, and a place that concerned parents trust. My son has been attending here for months. He previously attended in home care for years because I thought it would be better than a larger preschool/daycare. Once I enrolled him into Ready Set Go, I soon realized I should have enrolled him here long time ago. The staff/teachers are always so welcoming. Ms. Hill does a marvelous job and you can tell she loves these kids. I love that there is structure and the kids learn a lot. My son goes to school happy and comes home happy. He used to cry when I dropped him off at the previous daycares. There is nothing worse than wondering if your child is okay while you are at work. I know my son is in safe hands at this place. I can't thank them enough. If I have any more babies, they are coming here. I highly recommend taking a tour and seeing the place for yourself if you are looking for a fun learning environment for your child. read more

Thought long and hard to share my experience working here because I did not want to start drama. Ms. Hill hired me, she seems sweet, but Ms. Dena flat out bullied me. first day I started working there, Ms. Hill the director showed me everything around. Come in, clock in and also look at the schedule because our names on what is our cleaning chore for the end of the day. Usually you get one or two jobs like bathrooms cleaning or vacuuming and washing floors. I had elementary kids that I was in charge of and I had a classroom. I was part time afternoon tell closing. My job was simple, make sure kids do their homework, snack, outside play, an activity and 30 minutes or so before closing I take the kids to the main room and I do my cleaning chore. As I started working Ms. Dena seemed sweet, or I thought she was because she knew my friend. Ms. Hill is not there in afternoons so Ms. Dena was in charge. Well when that happened Dena would come in and take my kids about 2 hours early to the main room and turn on tv. She then would tell me I need to go clean and Dena with another coworker would have to "watch" the children. I finished what I was supposed to do and then I told her I was done. She looked at me with a cocky expression and basically told I had to continue cleaning as she was just chatting with the coworker. This happened all the time when I worked there (unless Ms. Hill was there). I asked my friend if she experienced this and she stated no. once Ms. Hill came in and stated she has a new project for me to do with my kids and I told her I won't be able to do it because I have no time and she looked confused and said I should have plenty of time. I told her my kids leave early and she said WHAT and how I should be with my kids the whole time until 30 minutes before closing, cue the music Ms. Dena jumps in and says something how she will make sure and basically steers to another topic with her. I should've went up and told Ms. Hill more but I was young and a very anxious person plus at the time I was afraid of Ms. Dena. One time I did my job and I had enough of Dena and I put the mop in the room where Dena was and I stated I finished my job whoever needs it can use it. Her response was your not done. I told her I did my job and she stated no your job is done when everything is cleaned. One day I decided enough was enough and (no I didn't stand up to her) I purposely slowly cleaned until it was my time to clock out. They are huge on clocking out on time and no overtime, only Dena was allowed to stay behind. Dena walks out all angry after chatting and watching tv stating how she has to do cleaning now because things weren't done. The list for cleaning had all of our names including Dena's as well. Dena if you read this I don't know what you had against me but you were a bully And I hope if you are in charge again you don't take advantage. read more

I can't give it not one star my child recently joined and honestly the director is rude I did not have a good feeling from the moment I saw her but I decided to give it a try my daughter was fine and after coming in for the first time she got sick I called to notify them and the director was not nice at all read more

My 3-year-old son looks forward to school every day! He has been attending full time since I dropped him off that first day as a 9-week-old - he's a "lifer" - and I wouldn't want him anywhere else! The teachers and staff are fantastic! They are patient and treat my son as one of their own. They have been teaching him manners and how to be a respectful little man. He loves to read, sing songs, and comes home every day and tells me about his super day. It has also been a HUGE blessing to have RSG open during this pandemic. I wouldn't have been able to keep working as a single mom with my guy at home. I look forward to many more happy years at RSG. THANK YOU to the teachers and staff! I can't say enough great things about Ready Set Go. The teachers are fabulous, most have been there for quite a while. My kids are always fed on time and never miss a snack and there aren't TV's in most rooms so not sure what that other reviewer is referring too. I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old at the school. My 1 year old loves going so much she knows when I pull in the parking lot and just starts saying "hi, hi, hi" and then gets really excited. My 3 year old loves everyone there, his favorite is Ms. Dena, who pushes him to learn new things each day. She has done wonders with potty training him. My 1 year old has mild hearing loss and wears hearing aids, the staff does their best to keep them in. Ms. Debbie is close to fluent in American Sign Language and signs with her and teaches the other kids ASL. She loves the teachers in the baby room but her favorite person is Miss Hill. My 3 year old has Down syndrome and goes to a different preschool in the San Juan district in the mornings and a bus drops him off right at nap time and they are always there waiting for him. He is often extra hungry when he wakes up from his nap and they make sure he's fed. He's included in all activities and never feels left out or excluded. He started at RSG at 18 months, his peers influences have helped him learn to walk, feed himself, play independently on the playground, talk and potty train. All the teachers and staff have learned some ASL so they can communicate effectively with him since that is also his main form of communication. Ms. Ally is always a pleasure to see, she and Ms. Veronica always greet everyone with a smile making pick up and drop off very pleasant. Sure some teachers haven't been that great but no one can hire perfect employees for every position. I recommend Ready Set Go every chance I get. read more

I had a 4 yr old daughter in this school and she was mistreated by other kids and ignored by teachers. She said she was picked on by another kid in her class every day and the teachers would make her feel like it was her fault. As a parent I'm sure u know how painful it is to hear something like that. Had multiple conversations with staff and Ms. Hill(who is not a friendly person) and was told that she would be put in a different class with a different teacher. As her mother came to pick her up the next day, she found her in the same class with the same teacher and was being mistreated by the other kids right in front of her eyes. Our daughter had only told us this was happening to her and we trusted her and asked the staff to be more attentive and not allow misbehavior between the kids and the teachers to be better and then to see it happening right in front of you is unacceptable. Bad leadership, untrustworthy people causing and enabling a toxic learning environment. I understand it's not the best location as far as neighborhoods but it's certainly not close to the worst either. So if u use this place because of the price beware, u get what u pay for. read more

One of the worst daycares ive experienced and so glad I took my child out. The director was really rude all of the time and barely acknowledged you. Half or the staff were rude and never seemed happy. My kids would come home with runny noses and have a bad stench from the daycare. I would not recommend this facility. read more

RSG has been such a blessing in my life over the last few years. Ms. Hill is incredible and so wise. She is not only amazing with the kids, but she is soooo awesome running the center as a professional establishment... and she is SO HELPFUL with much needed mom-advice at times. She listens and responds with so much love... She is encouraging, faithful, loving, and tolerant. I appreciate all of her hard work and dedication to keeping our kids safe, happy, and healthy! Also, Ms. Dena has had her hand in just about everything in that place... i don't know if she is an assistant director yet, but she should be. She is professional, timely, helpful, stern, and compassionate. My oldest is in the Junior Clubhouse now and I have nothing but great things to say about that side of the building. I was so glad they separated the older kids and made their own little space for them! It is absolutely darling and soooo cool for the bigger kids! I am so happy with Mr. Jorge and Ms. Christina. They have both fostered such incredible spirit in my daughter while they have spent time with her. I love how playful and fun Mr. Jorge is, while at the same time he brings a sense of calmness that I really think the kids enjoy. Ms. Christina is goofy but strict and maternal, and I just love having my daughter in their classes. I cannot say enough good things about the people who Ms. Hill hires. How could I forget Ms. Karen... I can always count on her to bring a smile and a warm greeting no matter what! And Allison in the front office is simply a joy! These workers are wonderful examples of love in action and how a team of people can truly make such a difference to our children. I am so grateful for all of them and for RSG for being the best childcare center over the past few years for my family! read more

This has by far been the best experience for me and both of my children (3 yr old and 6 mnth old) I see so much improvement in my 3 yr old since he's began. He absolutely LOVES Ms.Dena with his whole heart, she works very hard with him ( he's a very energetic boy) she is very active with all the children, whenever I pick up my boys she ALWAYS comes and informs me on how my son's day went and what he's learned and all the new things he does. Needless to say I drive everyday 20 mins to drop them off at this daycare because of the teachers, no matter how far I have to drive to get to work whether it be an hour away, I know my boys are in excellent care.( I work out of Sacramento everyday in different locations) I highly recommend this daycare to any parent. read more

Do not bring ur kids here. One parent to another. Just don't. My potty trained 3 year old wet himself every day which was completely out of character. My 18 month old was bit in the nursery and pushed down the slide. Jackets always came up missing. My oldest said one boy was mean to him everyday and no staff member seemed to care. One staff member got frustrated with a boy throwing a tantrum and picked him up by one arm to bring him to the other side of the room. I told the director that even tho it was not my Child it made me uncomfortable. She didn't give a damn. I told them not to give my baby milk because he was allergic and they claimed to need a doctors note. How the hell do u go against a parent and think u know better? Then I would constantly get calls about him having diarrhea or throwing up and need to leave work to get him. The place is just a joke man they aren't loving, compassionate and patient. My kids cried every day I dropped them off just as much as their first day. I would race after work to pick them up because I hated them being there. And if you get aid to pay for your child care your really looked down on. Just don't do it people. read more

Our 2 1/2 year old has been going here for a couple months but in the short time we have seen an increase in positive changes with our son. His vocabulary has grown and he's become a happier little guy since he has gotten a lot of one-on-one attention. The teachers have been very welcoming and we are very happy with our transition to this preschool/daycare. We have also received feedback and status reports. The teachers can tell you what the kids learned each day (songs and activities), how the kids are growing socially, how they played outside, how long they napped etc. This place is awesome so far. read more
