Met with a few othos in town and Dr. Timmothy Brunson clearly communicated the treatment plans for each kid with us. My daughter in particular has a more involved case and I appreciated his expertise and collaboration with us and other Orthodontists on the best plan short and long term for my daughter and son. Coming from Southern California I appreciate his in-depth educational background, his involvement in the local community and giving back where he can for those less fortunate. The staff here is so friendly, the waiting room is calm and inviting/. The entire team is helpful, kind. Appointments are always on time, text msg makes things very convenient especially with a busy life we all lead remind us so we don't miss appointments. They provide the right level of communication for busy families and fair (not the cheapest) costs. You do get what you pay for in professional services that includes their entire team. They are in walking distance to the high school which is great for early or later afternoon appts to minimize pulling them out of school for appointments. We highly recommend them!

I have been a dental patient of first Dr. Carol Evans and then Dr. Justin Koen for over fifteen…read moreyears. While Dr. Evans was fantastic, I have had a much different experience with Dr. Koen and the direction the practice has taken in the last few years. I have a feeling the practice has been taken over by a corporate entity because their focus is no longer on the patients. I went in three times a year for cleanings and only saw Dr. Koen for literally 20 seconds for the past fifteen plus years when he came in to view my mouth after a cleaning once a year. So I did not know the extent he would GHOST me when I needed his advice the most. I had some unexpected issues regarding a failed crown and had many questions. When in the office for the scan to measure my temporary tooth (called a flipper), I needed to talk to him during my scheduled appointment time. He refused to even pop in to see what my concern was! Then, the periodontist who was handling the crown issue and bone grafting specifically asked him to do a tooth vitality on a specific tooth next to the failed crown and Dr. Koen did not even do the tooth vitality! I even asked the person doing the scan to have Dr. Koen do the tooth vitality and then he (or his office manager) sent her back to say Dr. Koen would contact the periodontist directly without even taking the time to see what my question (s) where, but the periodontist told me Dr. Koen never verified the vitality of that tooth! Then, I was suppose to get my temporary tooth within a 2 week timeline, as it was only coming from the lab in Hutto. It never came! I had the office follow up daily and for days never came up with an explanation of what happened except that "the temporary tooth was lost"! Unacceptable! I even said I would drive to Hutto to get it (it had been paid in FULL 3 weeks prior), and they said that was not possible. Only the office manager would deal with me via phone; I even went to the office in person to speak to Dr. Koen and he refused to see me! I left him messages twice on his voicemail and he never returned my calls. I needed the temporary tooth in time for me to return to work, as I was extremely embarrassed by the gap and needed the temporary tooth as a minimum to work with my clientele, as well as my co-workers with confidence. He GHOSTED me yet again. Now, you may say I must have been a demanding patient or there must be some other reason for this response from the practice. The only reason is he did not care ENOUGH to reach out and make things right and do the bare minimum that a dental professional should do. If you are thinking of going to Main Street Dental-take your business elsewhere!! The office manager was rude and condescending. If all you need are cleanings and that is it, then this is the place for you. However, if you want to be reassured that Main Street Dental places their patients first, then please.............find another practice! All you will find is incompetence, arrogance and a disregard for professionalism in this field. I would give them a zero star rating if it was available. I have switched practices and advocate to anyone even considering this dental practice to take your hard-earned money, dignity and well--being somewhere else!

No plan for fillings or anything. This was our first visit to Crescent Dental, and will be our last!…read more My wife cracked a tooth on a Friday afternoon, and our regular dentist was closed. My daughter was a patient at Crescent, so we thought we would try them, and a least get my wife some temporary relief until we could see our regular dentist on Monday. It was decided that the tooth needed to be extracted, and so that was done. The wound was bleeding terribly in the office, but since it was Friday afternoon we were rushed out and given a few guaze pads. Once we got in the car to head home, the wound started bleeding even worse. Since we were still in the parking lot, we went back to the office and tried to get more guaze, since by then my wife was bleeding profusely. Once we finally FOUND someone in the office, they gave us like 3 more guaze pads (generous!) and sent us on our way. (Luckily Wal-mart was close by and I was able to buy a couple packages of guaze). Later that evening, the bleeding had still not stopped so we decided a trip to the ER was in order. We found out there, the stitches done by the dentist were not ample to close the wound (an exposed vessel) and it most likely would have never stopped bleeding. Then, for the icing on the cake, a few weeks later my daughter was harassed (both by phone and in person during an appointment) in regard to an insurance question on OUR account! She is not listed as a billing contact, and is not even on the same insurance policy as my wife and I. Why was our billing information disclosed to a family member when WE had not even been contacted about the issue? (which was easily rectified once we were informed of it (second hand)). Needless to say, we wont be coming back, and will not recommend Crescent Dental to anyone.
