I am a patient of NEO dentistry. They seem to be very nice but they refer out a lot. I have an impacted molar and I saw the female dentist about three weeks ago and was referred to an oral surgeon ( that was out of my network) I was prescribed antibiotics and sent home. The antibiotics worked and I'm still on a search for the surgeon. YESTERDAY, May 9th I awoke with my jaw swollen and in pain. I called NEOs emergency service. My first call was at 9:30 am. Throughout the day I called this service 6 TIMES! I told them the pain was worse but ALL I wanted was a refill for the antibiotics. THE PHARMACIST CALLED THEM! ( 7 phone calls in total!) The service told me that Dr. Gonzales was on call and HE WAS PICKING UP HIS MESSAGES!! NO PHONE CALL! NOT EVEN TO SAY HE WOULDN'T REFILL THE PRESCRIPTION!! HE DIDN'T CARE! I ended up in ER. A shot in my jaw for pain and a prescription for antibiotics and hated painkillers. This is the most inhumane way to treat a patient with mouth pain. There is nothing worse. Dr. Gonzales didn't care about my infection or my pain. He cared about NOT taking 5 minutes out of his day to call a pharmacy and get me on my way to relief. He is NO LONGER MY DENTIST! I WOULD ENCOURAGE YOU TO STAY COMPLETELY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE! The doctor at the ER had more compassion than Dr. Gonzales has ever had. BE AWARE OF THIS OFFICE! read more

My first 2 visits went pretty great, I called to make an appointment for cleaning on August 7th and was told I could be seen until November; November for a cleaning?? that's pretty far, I was a little shocked and the receptionist didn't offer a waitlist. She basically just told me to go somewhere else, and somewhere else I shall go. I've been to this location 3 times now and each visit is great. I'm not a fan of going to the dentist but this location has exceeded my expectations. They are welcoming , listen to my concerns and the dental assistants and both drs have really made me feel at ease and comfortable. They are always punctual with my appointments but I've gone to them to fix an old filling and to check out a small black spot on my tongue I was concerned about. It's like they don't keep any records for their patients or they don't review them beforehand. Not only did they suggest I come in to get my filling fixed again ( this was during my cleaning appointment and when it hadn't been bothering me at all ) but less than a week later my filling that was perfectly fine completely cracked. Apparently they didn't realize I had recently paid for them to fix it so they either did a crap job or they broke it again on purpose as I can't believe it completely cracked a week later when it had been perfectly fine prior to going in for my cleaning. In addition, although they had promised me they measured my black spot when I previously went to see them specifically to have it checked out, once I was there for my cleaning where they were also supposed to do a follow up they couldn't find the prior measurements so couldn't confirm if the small spot had grown or not. You also barely even interact with the actual dentists. Avoid if you're looking for an ethical practice who actually cares about their patients teeth. read more

No one likes going to the dentist, when I first went here I was due for a deep cleaning. Needless to say I was not looking forward to it. They however made sure to numb my mouth to the point that I was falling asleep while they were cleaning. I have a very small mouth, and the bite wing x-rays are always uncomfortable, but they make sure to make them as comfortable as they can. I have been going to them a few years and finally made an appointment for my dentist phobic husband. They did the full x-ray and saw a problem wisdom tooth we knew about, and the hygienist let us know the doctor would come in to talk about the options. We were given options for how to start to make up for the years hubs had not been to the dentist, and a cost estimate for the entire process. We choose to have the tooth pulled, and come in for a scheduled deep clean for half of his mouth, which was scheduled with our dental insurance in mind. They moved us to a room to have the tooth pulled, used numbing gel before the shots to make sure that his comfort was the best it could be, and even did a second round of numbing shots. The extraction itself was beyond what we expected, and while no pliers were used his tooth was out before I knew what happened. Most of the dentists he has gone to were older than him, and the younger dentist seemed to be more on par with the new techniques and everyone was open forward and upfront and made it happen. Above and beyond his prior experiences. While the hubs is not cured of dental phobias he's not scared to go start the cleaning process, and that is reassuring to me. read more

Fantastic! Not a word most us think of when picturing a dental visit! The entire staff was wonderful every single time. I had to get a pretty intense procedure and let me just say Dr. Luis González was the best I've ever experienced. All of his assistants were just as great! I was in the chair for 3 hours!!! Three and he was the same through out. He walked me through everything that was going on and I never felt pain. When ever he saw that I was struggling he offered me breaks. The entire practice cares! I hope I don't have to go back, but if I do this is my dentist for life! Well I will have to go back...cleaning is a must for myself and my entire family. Thank you to everybody at Neo Dentistry!!! I went to them about 6 months ago as a new patient with two insurance plans and a savings plan. I needed teeth cleaning and wanted to talk about whitening and my old veneers from secondary school. The hygenist told me to basically do my own whitening and not use my dental plan from Cigna and then I was told at my next cleaning, the dentist would look at the chip in my veneers. My gums and the health of my teeth were not really addressed. My appointment was scheduled for the next routine cleaning 6 months in advance at that appointment. Six months later, I needed to reschedule my cleaning and the dentist's review of my veneers and was told that I could not be seen for my cleaning until February as cleanings are always scheduled 6 months out. But I could be put on a waiting list for a sooner cleaning and a separate appointment could be made for the dentist to finally review my veneers. The care is not there and I would recommend another dentist if you are new and need an office that can accommodate a busy schedule within reason. I am a full-time grad student, work full time and have a side gig. This is dentistry for people who do not have a lot going on and do not have dental concerns and additional services. Do not waste their time and yours if you have a busy schedule, lots of insurance and a savings plan, and dental concerns. My husband also went to them and was charged an extra 200 and some dollars for cleaning with his insurance and had to make a second appointment after his initial visit for the cleaning. They treated him like crap and perhaps because he only has one insurance plan. I find that interesting as before we moved to Kyle, he did not receive that kind of service from our old dentist in Round Rock. read more

The dentists and the office itself was fine. However they gave me a special X-ray that I did not give them permission to do that ended up costing me extra. I asked for the regular cleaning and exam that my insurance covered and they decided to do something extra without consulting me. Make sure you verify everything they do before they do it so they don't charge you extra. read more

I was referred to Neo Dentistry by my husband who has been going for years. I have had nothing but GREAT experiences with Dr. Alamo and the male dental assistant who works in the office. Both have shown great bed side manner and professionalism. Not only has Dr. Alamo has been able to fix and take care of issues that were caused by another dental office, but they have squeezed me in on EVERY occasion. I couldn't recommend this office enough. I have had really good experiences at Neo dentistry. Dr Alamo is personable and takes time to answer questions. Out of the 8 times I have been here I have had seven excellent experiences with the dental hygienist. I will say I have never had to have actual work done so I can't speak to that but I have gotten good recommendations on how to care for my teeth and I believe that's one reason I have not had to have work done. I'm not too fond of dentist offices, but this one is amazing and I'm still not even out of the office yet. They got me in right away for an appointment which was rather a pleasant surprise, since my other dentist office cancelled my appointment and then said they could reschedule until August!! Nayeli welcomed me with an amazing warm and kind smile. Ashley was my dental hygienist, I can't put into words how nice, sweet and kind she was. She took care of my cleaning, she was gentle enough to a point that I wouldn't feel any pain while also getting the job done, she also explained every step she made in order for my experience to go as smooth as possible. Dr. Gonzalez was great as well he was very straightforward as to what he recommended to get done but never did I feel obligated to do it. SO many good things to say about this practice. First of all the girl at the front desk is friendly and helpful...very quick with getting you checked in and setting up follow up appointments. The dental assistants and hygienists that I encountered were all very friendly and professional. They made me feel really at ease and comfortable. Dr. Alamo was wonderful. He was really nice and explained the procedure I needed and answered all of my questions. He was very concerned with my comfort level and payed close attention to my reactions throughout the entire procedure and made sure it was pain-free. I could not be happier with my experience. Both of the dentist as well as the staff are so nice. The dentist explained everything that needed to be done and we even more thoughtful to give me a couple names for referrals for pricing. They didn't make up work that needed to be done to get more money. They also eased my fear of the dentist and there was no waiting! So far, so good! I am a new patient and had my initial visit today. They had difficulty with my insurance, but they made phone calls to another dentist I had recently seen for a root canal to figure how to get things established with my insurance (and also to get x-rays sent to them). This was really nice and kept the stress off of me. I was seen within a couple days (literally 2 days) from my initial call and I received text message reminders. I did not complete new patient documentation prior to arrival (though, I could have because it's available online), but I was still seen promptly and was able to complete all the paperwork easily before getting started. The dental hygienist was very nice, did not come off as judgmental (as some in the past have), and seemed very knowledgeable and approachable. She was gentle with the sensitive areas of my teeth/gums and even told me everything she was doing during my cleaning. I wish I remembered her name, because she really was fabulous. I have decided to make this my primary general dental facility, and I highly recommend. read more

Broke a crown (or cap or something) on my front tooth. Neo got me in as soon as the holidays were over (not an emergency, no pain so a small wait was fine especially as a new patient). I had two texts to remind me of my appt which is great for the pt. and clinic. Saw Dr. Alamo who was professional and knowledgeable. Gave me a few options and decided to go with a temporary since I would only be in the area another 3 days. This temporary feels better than what was on there. The tech worked to make sure it fit great. I was really impressed with the cost as well. Most of my visits to dentists start in the four figure range, to get this quality for $250 was fantastic. All the Staff up front were great also. I'd make this my permanent dentist if I were staying in the area. read more
