I honestly feel like I've been scouting high and low for a decent dentistry to call home!! Well, I just might have found it this time I went for a general cleaning which was pleasant. I wish I would've collected everyone's name that I communicated with, but Dr. Ryan was great especially when it came to knowing what I needed done. I will be returning in a couple weeks and this will determine my final say. I'll be back with further updates!!! Okay update: better late than never I guess, but my experience has been GREAT with this facility. I even considered moving out of the area, but scared to not find a good dentistry. I would travel just to visit. Dr. Ryan and her staff are phenomenal and I will definitely be continuing my services here! The doctor and assistant was excellent, but besides that, I had a horrible experience and will not be back. One of the staff members Jackie on two different occasions, did not do her due diligence in contacting my insurance. On the first occasion, Jackie called me prior to my daughter's appointment to inform me that she was not showing as insured through their online portal. I asked if she could call the provider instead because I knew she was, in fact, insured. She told me she had already tried. When I insisted she try again, she said she didn't have the time. So, I took matters into my own hands and called them again. This time, I had to three-way the conversation so my insurance could tell her she was, in fact, insured. Did she try or did she not? If she had called, she would have known the reason why the online portal wasn't picking up my daughter. There was a miscommunication on their end about the last name on file. On the second occasion, after my examination, the same employee was going over my treatment plan and the payment options. I gave her my insurance member ID, and when she looked it up on her portal, it said inactive, even though I knew it was active. I called my insurance in front of her, and the insurance confirmed it was, in fact, current. My insurance said for the provider to call the number on the back of my insurance card. Jackie said it would take her an hour or two to give them a call and that she would email me on Monday after contacting them. Frustrated that she couldn't help me right then, when she had no other patients in the waiting room, I still understood and thanked her. It wasn't until after I got in the car and loaded my two babies that I realized she never got the number from me that she agreed she would call. She again was never going to call. Overall, while the doctor provided excellent care, the lack of proper communication and effort from Jackie significantly impacted my experience. I hope they address this employee for future patients. read more

I wish I had of received the type of care that are described in the positive reviews. My experience was horrific. The dentist was extremely rude, she did not introduce herself, talked down to me, attempted to argue with me about dental terms, rather than educate me on them, and had a very unpleasant demeanor. The pricing is 3 x more than I would pay at my previous dentist in Austin. Literally price gouging. I had minor minor cosmetic work on 5 teeth a few years ago costing $700. The bonding came off of 2 of those teeth and I needed it replaced and this clinic wanted to charge me $1000 just for the 2 minor cosmetic cracks. When I expressed my concern about the pricing, they literally said "well people charge different prices." You are charged more for the procedure if you do not have dental insurance. Let me repeat this, you are charged more if you're paying out of pocket. The admin staff and dental hygienist were fantastic. I was skeptical going in, as it has a faded sign, is in a strip center right next to 35, has worn equipment, but is clean. I hope you have a good experience and do not get the dentist that I had. Also, just be prepared to pay extra. read more

Amazing staff, great service, clean facility, lots of flexibility. Every time I go into the office everyone is very professional and super friendly. I have been going to this location for the past few years and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new dentist. After Covid I wanted a new Dentist because mine was always booked out months. I visited vida and am glad that I made the switch. I'm honestly thankful my dentist was booked out because I wouldn't have found this place otherwise. The dentist is very knowledgeable and down to earth. The dental hygienists and the rest are awesome as well. I have nothing bad to say about this place from my experiences. Also just for reference so you can understand that I have visited numerous times. I have had numerous cleanings (roughly 3 a year), a filling, a root canal, and I had to get a crown for an old filling. read more

I couldn't speak more highly of Dr. Ericka Ryan and her team. I was amazed by the patient experience and felt at ease during my cleaning, X-rays, and wisdom tooth removal. Ericka goes out of her way to connect with you on a personal level and ensures you're her top priority. From start to finish she took her time to explain the whole process and what was going to happen next - all while listening to my concerns and making me feel comfortable. Everyone at Vida was so friendly and professional! I was able to complete the new patient forms in advance of my visit making things very efficient. The team even reviewed an estimate with me so there were no surprises on costs. The office is clean and they have modern equipment (and a bonus with TVs in every room). Not only was I sent home with a goodie bag and clear instructions for recovery, Ericka and her team made follow up calls to see how the healing process was going. I've been coming here for three years now, for routine cleanings, flouride treatments, and getting cavities filled. I cannot recommend the staff here enough! They're great at making you feel comfortable, and they do fast-paced but very thorough work for a fair price. Very disappointed in this office - I attended for a cleaning and to fill a cavity. They perform procedures without explaining the added costs or sharing that they won't run the procedure(s) through insurance, even though I specifically asked if it would cost me more and specifically stating I only wanted a standard cleaning. They asked me to pay a $68 fee after my cleaning, and when I asked what the fee was, they said it was a co-pay. I hesitated at this as my insurance typically covers all costs. I later called my insurance to ask about this as I received a second and a third bill from the dentist after filling a cavity. My out of pocket should have only been $150 for the cavity, yet I received multiple bills of $68, $250, and then $60, and upon review, noticed that some of the items weren't run through insurance. When I asked them to re-submit the items to insurance, they refused. Very unprofessional to take advantage of new clients and to not be transparent in your practices and what you are charging clients. Do not recommend. read more

I had an appointment for 10 am I got there on time and I was put into a room. she said she had to call my insurance, but she didn't know how because she's the hygienist. there was no body else there besides her. For 40 minutes she was wasting my time knowing that she needed the receptionists help. I will never go back to this place. read more

I wouldn't suggest this collection of dentists. They are nice enough people, but they are only interested in getting your money. Went for a cleaning and exam, my teeth never got cleaned, instead I got a list of stuff they wanted to do and the cost. I found it odd that my insurance covers up to $1500 per year .... guess what, the bill came out to $1487. Now I have been trying to get my records forwarded to another dentist, but I can't get them to forward the records and my calls go to a answering machine. read more
