I just want to express how happy we are that our daughter is part of the Kids Place family. The first days were hard for her since she had always been home with me, but she would always share how comforting and caring her teachers were. It put my heart at ease because I knew she was in good hands. A year later and Emma is a whole different person. She enjoys going to school and has improved so much in her social skills. She is always eager to share about her day and tells us how awesome her teachers are. We also appreciate all the effort that goes into the holiday celebrations to make not only the kids but the parents feel special as well. I truly believe Carina and her team were heaven sent. In addition, the staff ensures the space is always clean and organized. Meals are provided, which makes it much easier for working parents. I love that the children have a huge outdoor play area. I can go one about how amazing this preschool is, but a major plus is how affordable it is compared to other places. I can't say enough wonderful things about this preschool! The property is clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a huge backyard and plenty of room for kids to play and explore. The teachers are incredibly kind, comforting, and truly care about each child's well-being. One of the biggest reasons I chose this school is their flexibility. As a commuting parent with last-minute meetings, their willingness to let me add extra days or swap days when I'm in a bind has been a lifesaver. They provide breakfast, lunch, and an after-nap snack for all the kids. The facility is new with dedicated classrooms and proper tools, unlike some preschools in Tracy that felt more like converted living rooms. Their fees are also very reasonable, especially for the quality of care and amenities offered. Another thing that really stood out to me: my son has seasonal allergies and gets nosebleeds often. At this school, I was never called to pick him up for that reason. In contrast, he just started TK three days ago, and I've already received two calls about it. Per your response Carina, I feel the need to clarify the reason for our decision to withdraw from your program, as your response unfortunately sidesteps the core issue. While I understand that every family has unique needs, I want to clarify that my decision to withdraw wasn't about "fit," but how the situation was handled. Raising concerns about my daughter's nap behavior while she was standing right there, without a scheduled parent conversation, was unprofessional and insensitive. Despite my ongoing check-ins with your team, I was told by you it had been an "ongoing issue," yet never once being told that during me proactively checking in with your team. Telling me "I don't want to tell you every day" is not collaboration-it's poor communication. Expecting me to be onsite from 12-3pm daily as a solution is not only unreasonable, but it shifts the burden of care back onto working parents -defeating the purpose of full-time daycare. Asking her developmental therapists to cover nap responsibilities shows a fundamental misunderstanding of their role and potentially, even your own. Also not to forget to mention, my child never posed a risk of creating "negative" environment. You simply required this 3 hour daily support so you can take a break, apparently for 3 hours- which leads me to wonder, whose is looking out for the children? Or you just don't want to care for mine specifically. This experience reflected a lack of structure, transparency, and professionalism that no family should have to navigate. I hope this perspective is taken seriously. --------------------------- Initial review: Would not recommend. Teachers are great but the owner/ director does not have the bandwidth to care for all kids, of different backgrounds and/or personalities. Requires parents to come in from 12-3pm on a daily basis (Monday- Friday) if child does not nap, or naps for shorter than 2-3 hours, since it doesn't "meet their programs needs". read more

I'm back with another review because 4 years later, I have enrolled my younger 3 year old daughter to Kids Place. My older daughter was enrolled here at the age of 3 and I wrote a review and I think it's so amazing that k feel the same and even better about Kids Place so many years later. My younger daughter adjusted so well and so fast. She loves it here. She got potty trained within a month of enrolling. It's hard to trust someone with your precious child and the ease that Kids Place puts in me is incredible. The staff is amazing and the owner is so accommodating and keeps things running so well. My daughter has been going here part time for a few months now and has had such a smooth transition considering she's never been to school! The teachers are very welcoming and are always letting me know how her day went. I appreciate how flexible they have been accommodating my crazy work schedule. I cannot express enough of how grateful I am that my son was able to get the experience of being at this facility. My son is on the spectrum (Autism) so it was hard to find a really trustworthy place for him. After meeting Carina (owner) to look at the place, location and staff I was very pleased. Carina was very understanding, honest and thoughtful about how she runs her business, how she has many years of experience with children of different needs,etc. My son was happy and calm on the days that He would get dropped off there and at pick up. Communication was amazing through this app with the staff. You can message anytime to check on your child. The meals they provide are nutritious and this helped my son to try new foods around his peers. He became more comfortable in being socially active. I'm so happy to have found this daycare/preschool! About a year ago I was in need of finding childcare for my 2 year old, but I was so hesitant to leave my baby in someone else's care. When I contacted Kid's Place, someone was in contact with me quickly and offered a tour of the facility. I was so happy to find such a welcoming and clean environment. My son also has food allergies that require him to carry an epi-pen, and all the staff have been excellent in making sure he's taken care of in that sense. Every day my son looks forward to going to school and he has developed such a special, personal relationship with all of the teachers. In the year he's been there, I've also noticed a great improvement in his vocabulary and just overall intelligence. They're always doing crafts, ensuring outside playtime & exploration, & even celebrate holidays with the kids. They have great communication, as well as a phone app to make sure everything is recorded and available so both my husband and I are aware of his day. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for childcare. read more

This is my first Yelp review for a school so bear with me... My baby (4 yo) is now old enough for Pre-School and this is his first time going to any kind of school or daycare so his dad and I are pretty inexperienced with school enrollment etc. But we very interested with Miss Carina and her wonderful school. She answered our questions about the school really fast and what's awesome is that they have school all year long and you can join at anytime (so if you feel like you're a little late with enrolling your child, have no fear!) Miss Carina made time for us to meet her at the facility and she was just so easy to talk to. She really made us feel comfortable with how she handles different situations and we felt our son would be in great hands. I know going to school can be hard not only for the children but for us first time parents and what my partner and I really love is that the school uses an app where you can get updates/notifications. You know they didn't have that when we were growing up lol. One of the updates you get is if you are not the one to drop of your child (maybe it's grandma) you will get a notification and an update on the app of who exactly signed in and what time they dropped off your child and vice versa, you see when they pick them up. They also send an update if they are eating a snack and they put exactly what they're eating and if they ate it all or not. Our favorite updates/ notifications are from the pictures they send through the app (oh how we love seeing our son while we're away at work.) As first time parents, it's just really nice to see proof that your child is still happy when you're not there, it's such a big weight off your shoulders. We are very happy with our choice for pre-school for our son, and if you meet Miss Carina and her staff, you'd feel the same. :) read more

My daughter started here just about a year ago and we could not be happier. She is thriving in so many ways and enjoys going to school. We have had some daycare scares and issues in the past and thankfully, we have never had an issue here and the staff is always reliable. I am usually in contact with Ms. Jocy for most of our communication and she is so sweet and amazing and quick to respond with any questions I have. About a year ago our daycare provider decided to close, and I was devastated and started looking for new options for childcare. I toured almost every preschool in Tracy, and this was my last stop. I was so nervous... I think I teared up during the tour. It is hard to imagine leaving my little one, but they were warm and welcoming and made me feel comfortable. In the last year I have seen my son grow so much. He loves to sing and dance, and has very much come out of his shell. He loves going to school- and has never once said he doesn't want to go. He has made many friends and loves his teachers. They also have a variety of schedules to choose from, and are very flexible. It also feel very secure, and I like the updates I get on my app- they will tell you what they ate, if they napped and what activities they did that day. Carina and the whole staff should be very proud of what they have created here. When you have to work to provide for your family, it makes me feel great knowing my son has an awesome experience at school and a loving place to go to. True to their name.. this is really a place for kids to learn and explore. Before I enrolled my son, I had a chance to speak with Carina, the owner. She was very responsive and patiently answered all my questions. I like how honest she is about all the details of what she can offer my son given that he's a school aged kid and a non napper. When my son started, he was very shy and would not reach out to the other kids but recently, my husband and I have noticed that he's become a lot more friendlier and would always start initiating conversations with other children. This place had definitely made a huge impact on my son's life in a very short span of time. I had waited on reviewing Kids Place just because I wanted to really get a feel for the facility, staff and program before saying anything, but now that my Son has been here for a year now, I can definitely say that I have nothing but good things to say about them (this is coming from a Mom who didn't want to put her child in daycare at such an early age). I remember the day we took our tour. This was the first of several daycare facilities that we were considering putting him in. There are certain key things that I was looking for in a daycare and Kids Place was one of select few that met my criteria which included things like food and snacks being provided, diaper changing/potty training assistance at no additional charge and drop-off and pick-up hours that met our hectic schedules. Immediately, upon meeting Carina, you can really tell that she is passionate about the care, growth and development of the children, and the facility and its teachers really radiate that belief as well. You could tell that the children really enjoy being there. I left our tour wanting to sign up right then and there but we had appointments set up back to back, so we decided to keep to them. I remember being mortified at what I saw at the other facilities and after the 3rd, I called Carina right away and told her that we wanted my Son to start the following week. At the beginning when our Son first started the program, he did have some transitional issues in which Carina worked diligently with him, and us, to fix. She really took a leap of faith with us on this one and she will never know how much I really appreciate her doing that. She genuinely took an interest in helping us - this speaks volumes in regards to how much she truly cares about the kids and their families. Fast forward a year...my 3 year old speaks so fluently, he can count to 15, he sings me the ABC's, knows his shapes/colors/animals and even teaches me a new song or two a week. I am very pleased with his development and what he has accomplished in his short time at Kids Place and I look forward to seeing his continued growth and development. read more

My son started Kids place earlier in the year. He loves coming to school and has learnt a variety of things since joining. The staff are all super friendly and helpful and have an interest in your child, which is great! He enjoys spending time with his new friends and learning along the way. This review is long overdue! My two sons have been attending Kids Place for the last 5 months and we absolutely love it. All the staff is very warm, welcoming and nurturing to all kids. My kids have a hard time with drop offs sometimes and the staff is always very patient with my boys! I love how they cook their meals in house and keep it yummy but healthy for the kids. They have an app that they update during the day with pictures of my boys doing artwork, playing outside or what they ate for lunch/snack. This is one my favorite parts because it just brightens my day when I'm work and I get little alerts of my boys. Both my boys have grown and learned so much from being at this daycare. I also love how in addition to English, they are also teaching the kids to count in Spanish! I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for childcare! My son has been attending this daycare for almost a year now. He absolutely loves it, which is why we continued daycare services even after I stopped working. The whole staff is so great with the kids and I love that they all make the extra effort into making Holiday's and summer's even more special. Since my son has been out of school they have organized field trips to the movies, swimming pool, the park etc. My son looks forward to going to daycare everyday, not just for the socialization he gets with his peers, but for the crafts, outdoor play and snacks (Which they've helped expose him to new foods that I had so much trouble getting him to try!) I absolutely love this center! We had a hard time finding a preschool for our daughter since we're new to the valley. Carina and her staff made sure our daughter was comfortable at the center and Carina even switched my daughter's teacher since she was more comfortable with another teacher there. This review has been a long time coming, I like to write in depth reviews to really explain why. But sometimes the time is hard to find and I'd like it to be known at the very least that I highly recommend this daycare. Carina is the owner of this and one other location as well here in Tracy, I have been bringing my children to her centers for about 2 years now. I am so happy to have found her, her and her staff are absolutely wonderful. I can tell they truly care about the children and try their best to get to know each one. My son is 4 and goes to this wilbanks location before and after his schooling, he is mid on the autism spectrum, it provides an environment and understanding that works well for him while my school age daughter attends the grant line location where she can get the school transportation I require (its closer to that location). Both are amazing and I couldn't be happier, it's hard finding the right people to leave our precious children with but this I know is the right place for them. I'm a stay at home mom who put my daughter in part time to get socialization skills and give me a few hours to myself during the week~ I have absolutely no complaints about this place! In fact, my daughter didn't want to leave and we even increased her participation to three days a week. I can't believe this location hasn't been reviewed yet- Carina and staff are awesome! My infant had been at another daycare for a couple months and was miserable. I am so happy & thankful that I found Kids Place for my daughter Zamora. I knew this was the place for my daughter from the first time I spoke with Carina on the phone. She was friendly and answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. When I took my tour of the center it felt like home. She started preschool this week and she can't wait to go. When my children first started attending Kids Place, it was the most safest, best, amazing decision I ever made for my children then.
