As a mom of six, I've had my fair share of experiences with childcare over the years, but Great Beginnings Preschool truly holds a special place in my heart. When I decided to return to school full-time, one of the hardest parts was leaving my youngest baby for the first time. The moms guilt was REALI needed a preschool close to home where I felt completely confident she would be safe, loved, and cared for. During our tour, Mrs. RaeAnn immediately put my heart at ease. I was incredibly emotional, ugly crying through the tour, and she reassured me with so much kindness and compassion that my daughter would do great. She was right!! Financially, Great Beginnings was also very competitively priced, which made such a difference for our family during that season of life. We originally started with just Tuesdays and Thursdays, and as my semester progressed, we moved into Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, eventually transitioning into a full five-day schedule as needed. That flexibility and affordability made it possible for me to continue my education with peace of mind. My daughter attended Great Beginnings for two yeaand every single day I knew she was exactly where she needed to be. Mrs. RaeAnn, Mrs. Franny, and Mrs. Brooklyn are truly exceptional. They are kind, attentive, patient, loving, and genuinely care about every child who walks through their doors. They create an environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. The curriculum is engaging, the classrooms are warm and welcoming, and there is always something fun happening--from summer camp activities to holiday-themed performances and special events. It was amazing watching my daughter grow not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well. She built confidence, friendships, and a genuine love for learning. My daughter has now moved on to Transitional Kindergarten, and while we're so excited for this new chapter, leaving Great Beginnings was bittersweet. I truly cannot thank the staff enough for the love, encouragement, and foundation they gave her during such an important stage of her life. If you're a Tracy mom or dad looking for an exceptional preschool where your child will be loved, nurtured, and given every opportunity to thrive, I cannot recommend Great Beginnings Preschool enough. This place is truly a hidden gem, and I will always be grateful that we found it. read more

I absolutely love and highly recommend this daycare. Both of my kids attend and have been doing so for a few years now. The teachers and helpers are ALL amazing. My son is in the pre-k class and always comes home excited to do his homework so he can show me what he has learned and he is always talking about how much his teachers are so great. My daughter is in 3rd grade and they take her and pick her up from school. She really likes the daycare too even at her age. When we have the opportunity to take her or pick her up from school, sometimes she will still ask if she could go to the daycare anyway. On the days she has off of school is able to go to the daycare all day and she always loves going. I can't say enough about this place. It is so wonderful to have a place where you feel your children and loved, kept safe and well taken care of. Before this school I unfortunately had quite a horrible experience with a home daycare and I was very hesitant and worried about finding something. The reason we decided to try this place for our kids was from a referral and they have way surpassed my expectations. All the teachers and helpers at Great Beginnings, I thank you for taking such great care of my precious babies. read more

I'm so lucky to have found a place like Great Beginnings for both my children. I have a 3 year old and a 6 year old, both boys. My 3 year old is there all day. He loves his teachers there and even though he is not in PreSchool yet, he is learning so much. My 6 year old goes to school (1st grade) and with my schedule, I simply cannot drop or pick him up for school. They have a shuttle that takes the kids to school and picks them up. Needless to say, it is a life saver! One thing I have to say is that there is such a personal feel to the place. I don't feel like I am dropping them off at a center, I feel like I'm leaving them with good friends. My kids love their teachers and they are almost like a second set of parents for them. Not only with the kids, but they are so friendly with the parents as well. Again, it's more like old friends than a daycare center. Not to mention it's the best pricing I could find for daycare/ preschool/ after school care. And better than any other place I've tried. Truly a great place. read more

We couldn't have asked for a better preschool experience for our daughter. From day one, Miss Reann created a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where she truly loved learning. Each individual teacher genuinely cared about her growth, both academically and socially, and it showed in her confidence and excitement every day. By the time she transitioned to TK, she was more than prepared. She had a strong foundation in early learning, knew how to work independently and with others, and felt comfortable in a classroom setting. The skills and confidence she gained at this preschool made the transition incredibly smooth. We are so grateful for the love, patience, and dedication of Miss Reann and her team of amazing teachers. This preschool gave our daughter an amazing start, and we highly recommend it to any family looking for a place where their child will thrive. read more

I have 2 littles that have/are going to pre-school here. My oldest was here for 2 years prior to transitioning to Kindergarten. She entered into Kinder knowing how write her first name and recognize her letters and numbers. We have been getting compliments from her kinder teachers about how well she is transitioning specifically how well behaved she is and how well she gets along with her peers. GBP is also amazing about the different art projects and activities they have the kids do. Lots of themed weeks. Additionally, they take the time to work with each child individually for not only academics but also for emotional support and behavioral needs. GBP is amazing at posting pictures of the kiddos and keeping parents informed of how each child is doing. Such amazing staff that truly care for your little ones. read more

My son Ruben has been attending Great Begginings for about 4 months & he absolutely loves it. He is 3 years old and how much he's learning amazes me. His vocabulary has increased greatly and he is learning to write. Every day he comes home with arts & crafts. I had to start shipping crafts out to his grandparents because the fridge became too full! The staff here is amazing! I am the Service Experience Manager for the Nordstrom Rack & I must say their service is 5 stars! They even potty trained him! They have taken care of us as if we were family. The staff is professional, the facility is safe and clean, and my son's joy to go to school everyday is priceless. Definitely felt I should share my experience for the parents looking for a great school/daycare! read more

I love Great Beginnings! My best friend referred me to Great Beginnings and I was worried about the cost and the staff, being that I was in a new town and didn't know many people. But I must say, the staff is great, and they make everyone feel like family, and did I say AFFORDABLE..... My daughter is in the preschool program full time Monday through Friday and has learned so much. And after much research I found that they are the least expensive program in town. Great Beginnings has definitely prepared my daughter for Kindergarten, and I don't know what I would have done without them. So if your looking for quality care and a loving/caring environment, Great Beginnings is the place for your child or children. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

We have sent two children to the Great Beginnings Pre School for a period of about 2 years. Our kids are now 5 and 6. It has been an awesome experience for our kids. They would come home every day with projects and completed work that they were excited and proud to show us. They wouldn't let us throw anything away. The Teachers are all so friendly and personable. The Owner Ms. Rae Ann would do my daughters hair at school sometimes and my daughter would come home so happy and feeling loved. They celebrate holidays and throw cute parties and make it a fun environment for the kids. We have appreciated our time with GBP so much and are thankful for the investment they've made in our children's lives. Highly recommend this preschool! read more

Our older daughter went to Great Beginnings for 2.5 years and we loved it so much that we are sending our second daughter now! Miss Brooklyne, Miss Rae Ann, and Miss Nancy have been incredible, very patient and kind, flexible schedules, and our girls always leave preschool telling us about all the fun they had. I have been working on recognizing letters with my 2.5 year old at home, but the other day she was telling me the different numbers she saw when we were at the grocery store, and I had never taught her numbers! They also teach a bunch of songs, have a good routine, and have been very accommodating for my daughter's food allergy! read more

I first found Great Beginnings Preschool 10 years ago, when my son turned 2. Honestly, I chose them because they were the least expensive place I found, and it was going to be tough on my budget. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made. A decade later, I have my 3rd child attending. Their teachers are great - all of my kids were more than kindergarten ready. Lots of crafts and songs and fun activities. Part time and full time options. And even picked my older kids up from elementary school for after school care when they got older. A big recommend from me! read more

My son has attended Great Beginnings after school program for the past few years. I walk into a great atmosphere every time I pick him up. The teachers are friendly, professional, and patient with the kids. I'm also able to drop him off early in the morning which has become very helpful. They provide after school transportation from his school to Great Beginnings where I'm able to conveniently pick him up when I get off work and they're always on time.
