The food really good. The owner is nice person, but overall he could take things personal. If you complain to him, he gets offended. He assures that his employees would not do anything extreme. Let me explain. First of all, the wait is about an hour. Then they call your name. They sit you at a table. Then your ready to order. By the time the waitress comes, its almost another half an hour. You get your coffee. Half an hour goes by. You finish your coffee. Then the next half hour, your waiting for your food. They you are waiting to someone to fill your coffee. I see this young man pour coffee to other people. My wife and I tried to get his attention. He skipped our table. He was walking around like he was lost. I asked another waitress for more coffee. She didn't bring no coffee to us. I asked another waiter, it took him a long time. I got frustrated. I went to the owner and explained what is going on. He got offended because I didn't trust the young to get a soda for my daughter. I feared that he could of spit in her soda. He claims, none of his employees would do that. I could tell by the expression on his face after I asked him. How come he ignored us? So the owner kind of made me feel uncomfortable. His attitude changed after I explained what happened. Our first waitress wasn't around at all. This restaurant is lacking customer service. They are not organize. There are to many servers helping one table. They are slow, inconsistent. What I do not understand, how come they don't open the waiting room into a dining room. They are untrained, unprofessional. The owner doesn't manage his workers at all. He either needs to get them organized and work quickly. The owner needs to stop chatting with other people. He needs to get involved. Anyways, until they improve their service. I will not eat at their restaurant, I recommend Take Your Seat in Chino Hills. Asian Fusion Brunch. The price you pay a Kick Back Jack, is to high. This place is fab as far as breakfast goes. I've been going for years now. It's not about portion size, although their portions are HUGE... I can't believe there were actually peeps saying that they didn't serve enough food on plates... WOW! For the amount of food you get the prices are very reasonable... roughly anywhere from 8-12 dollars for a plate, and easily shared! Everything is fresh and tasty, their veggie omlette is like none I've ever tried... fluffy and wonderful and topped with tasty avocado. The skillets rock!! And their pancakes are out of this world... so fluffy and sweet that you would think you are eating cake.... then top it off with warm syrup and honey butter and you are in heaven. The staff is friendly and efficient... they move in quick droves on a mission which I think is admirable (considering I'm a server I hate to see other servers just standing around when people need something). The place is clean. All the servers are well over 40 and most have been there for years. Kid friendly, we're able to bring my 10 month old son and it's not a big deal if he makes a little mess on the floor, they just come around with their little sweepers... The servers even bring babies a plate full of cheerios, crackers, and sliced fruit on the house. Fresh juices, muffins, their bacon is outstanding... and every other breakfast item I've tried is yummy. Nothing I wouldn't order again and again. Their lunches are good, but they don't blow me out of the water the way the breakfast does. Portions are huge so be prepared to share or to leave feeling like you need a 3 hour nap! Came on a Friday morning with my sister after getting in from San Jose. It was the best rated place for breakfast that happened to be near the airport. Brunch and breakfast are my favorite so i've had some epic meals in my lifetime. I'm glad I didn't come with any expectations for this place. The food was OKAY. Nothing you can't make yourself as long as you own a pan and a spatula. The pancakes were meh too. Our server was nice but the service was so slow- especially since the restaurant was pretty empty. One thing I really liked though was the variety of coffee creamers they had. Makes the not so strong coffee taste pretty good. read more

We stopped by for brunch on our way to Pro Bass Shops. My bf ordered the French baguette burger, which came with onions and cheese, broccoli cheese soup and fries. The soup was really creamy and smooth, so a second cup was ordered. The burger was decent, baguette wasn't overly hard and the fries were crispy as requested. I had the biscuits and gravy, with home fries , 2 sausage links and one egg. I asked if it was a sausage gravy and our server said yes, but it came without any sausage in the gravy and was rather bland. A good quantity of home fries, slightly crispy, but was just warm, not hot. Asked for a fried egg, which I like with a wet yolk and crispy white, but came with a broken cooked yolk and whites. The sausage link had a nice flavor, tho it was probably pre cooked and was hard to cut with the knife.. Overall, decent food, with plenty of room for improvements. read more

came here today based on Yelp ratings. I should have known better than to order a sandwich with cream cheese and cranberry on it. The only reason i ordered this combo is because togos has a turkey and cranberry sandwich. I thought it would be similar. It wasnt. At all. I wasnt expecting huge globs of cream cheese and SLICES of (canned) cranberrys. It was a club sandiwch, I think. It also had avocado on it. Not a good combination. This is the first time I heard of this place so my wife and I decided to try it. In short, we loved it!! Although this is a traditional American food joint, the flavors were unique and tasted absolutely delicious! Don't get me wrong food was yummy as always and service was fast and efficient . The part that made me a little bit irritated was the fact when I walked in, It took quite a while to get seated and it wasn't even at all that busy . I don't know if she was the manager or owner of the establishment but this lady was talking to this guy that was paying out for quite a bit and she had seen us standing there. Then when we got finished and wanted to get our check, the same lady was sitting with a family eating and all the servers attended to the immediately, and us waiting for the check for a while. Not bad, typical diner food. All the times I've come here it's been with a groupon so the prices were good! Otherwise it's average food at a somewhat above avg price. Service is decent but they get really really busy so it's somewhat impersonal. Still I see the servers making a genuine effort and that's nice to see. Expect a wait on the weekends. They've got really good griddle options (French toast, pancakes, etc) and lots of juices and GREAT coffee. KickBack Jacks is a great place for breakfast, if you're in no hurry. Often there is a long wait and service is slow. My favorite is the homemade biscuits and gravy with home fries. Ok so this is my favorite breakfast spot.. my husband and i go here just about every friday.I must admit that while they have a wide selection of food I myself have only tried a few items. I am one of those types that if it works why change it and tend to stick to the same item each time. We share a pecan Carmel waffle with Bavarian cream instead of syrup and Santa fe skillet. There food portions are huge and will most likely have to share or bring food home. The waffle is so very yummy. The perfect texture and while I am not a fan of their syrup I absolutely love their Bavarian cream. I came here after getting a massage because I had a craving for pancakes. It was late Saturday morning but it wasn't too busy. I got seated at the counter since it was just me and was promptly attended to. I ordered the chorizo omelette along with two of the flapjacks with bananas. The omelette was good, but the flap jacks stole the show. First off, they are huge! I'm a big eater but I ended taking one home to eat later. Second, they tasted amazing!
