We took our Kia Telluride in for service due to a trim piece that needed to be replaced and a software update. First they made it so easy to schedule our appointment. Second the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They said it might take an hour but it only took 45 minutes including the car wash and having the car vacuumed. While waiting our 2 toddlers and we were in the TV room where they could play. There were ample snacks which were always replenished. The staff was extremely professional. I spent 1700 for a rebuilt catalytic converter in 2023 and the warranty is only 12000 miles or 1 year. When I bought car it was high pressured sales in the antioch area and then this one has this stupid warranty and the oil has to be replaced every 3 weeks so there's a leak somewhere when the car got broken Into it took 3 weeks to get it fixed. I provided the service technician with a complete list of services that I needed & was assured that they could complete all of the work before they closed that same Saturday. I wish 0 stars was an option. This goes for not only this dealership, but KIA as a whole as well. I wouldn't even blame this particular dealership, but the customer service we have recieved is the worst I've experienced. Someone attempted to steal my car on 12/28, per my insurance it was towed to this dealership the morning of 12/29, it has remained there since. The issue with this dealership was the employees stating they would 'call us back' with info and never actually returning the call. Telling us that there's nothing they can do about a loaner car because the customers with blown up engines were more important. But the one that really got me was the last time (my father) called to ask for an update or some sort of eta on the car being finished, and the employee replies 'how am I suppose to know? I don't have a crystal ball.'! We have heard nothing since, and quite frankly, the rudeness and disrespect that has been recieved from them has me nervous to even call again. Now KIA as a whole has been completely unhelpful! THEY DO NOT CARE AT ALL ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! The only 'help' the company has offered is to pay for a rental out of pocket, and then fill out paper work to try to be reimbursed. I'm a single mom with a type one diabetic 4 year old, I can not just come up with hundreds of dollars out of thin air to pay for a rental for how ever many months it takes to get my car back. It's already been 2 months. I finance through KIA as well, and they won't even defer my payment until I get my car back so I'm able to get a rental. Now I'm left struggling to find ways to get my son to his endocrinologist and get to work myself. All of this is due to the well known issue of KIA not properly installing an anti theft device of some sort, and therefor leaving their customers as targets while doing nothing to help the customer when they're ultimately put into this terrible situation! My wife found a vehicle there, we got a quote for the deal accepted it and she went with a check from our credit union only to get there and be told they didn't know where the numbers came from and wanted an extra $1,100 for the deal. I was working so couldn't go so we they taking advantage of a woman or do they do this to everyone. I had a good experience at Kia of Murfreesboro. It all started in the service department. My vehicle had been in a wreck and I brought it here to have the work done on it inspected. The service department essentially found a way to sell me some services but didn't seem as knowledgeable as I was hoping. The car had an unexplained vibration that they could not help with. That's the only reason for 4 stars. However through the process of dealing with the service dept. we met Kyle on the sales side and just had small talk. Kyle was a very real person and was very honest and straight forward. We never had any real plans of buying a car, Kyle was just nice to talk to while we waited up ours. The second time we came to deal with the service dept. with the same issue we saw a truck they had in stock that we were interested in. We found Kyle and looked at the truck, but decided it was more expensive than we wanted. Kyle never pushed us to do anything. He was very straight forward about the whole thing, price and all. He knew on the front side that we were probably not going to get it, but he still gave us his time. We ended up going back and trading in our old car since service said it was "fine" and bought the truck from Kyle. There was no schemes or gimmicks. I don't know anything about any other salesman there, but I do know that Kyle will take care of you. Then we went to Finance to Chance. He also was straight forward and not pushy. He was actually very friendly and a real person too! All in all we went for service, didn't have the best experience. At the same time, in my opinion they are the most knowledgeable on Kia's In the Nashville area. Justin Haught in the service department was very unprofessional and disrespectful. He talked over me and felt like he had to show his power. The complimentary car wash they give after service stay away. It's just a hand wash nothing of detail or to clean your car. If you want more, you need to go to car wash. They don't vacuum the car either even when they tell you they will. This is not the first bad experience I have had at this location. I had a recall and tried one more time. I was greeted friendly and with a smile. I stated to the young lady everyone is new from my last visit. She said yes I've been here the longest. I wow ok.. well they need people who have better customer service and want to be there to help the customer. Trace Starr the Service Manager was pleasant and very understandable after the first go round but I will not recommend anyone to go here for service. Kia of Murfreesboro is a breath of fresh air and the exception to the typical dreaded experience of cliche dealerships and car salesman. When I found a used car at Kia of Murfreesboro I was interested in (a Honda), my husband, myself and my 2 kids went to look at it. I loved the car but needed a little work getting my monthly payments where I needed them. We had a trade-in with negative equity also. The salesman and manager worked at getting us exactly where we needed to be without sending our credit request out to 50 banks right away so the hard inquiry didn't affect our credit score unless we were absolutely sure we wanted it to go through. I got a great deal on a vehicle already priced lower than the going market value. The vehicle has low miles and is in great shape. It needed a front end alignment and a tire rotation/balance, which they took care of right away then proceeded to deliver the vehicle to my home with a full tank of gas. There was a broken handle which they also fixed. All repairs were completed within 1 day. The salesman was not pushy, was easy to talk to, friendly, and was happy to help us. Both manager and salesman were relating to us on our level, answering all our questions and handling our concerns. In no way did I feel they were deceiving me or pushing me, I felt more like they were working FOR me, and looking out for our own interests. I honestly do not like car dealerships, but I will take my business back to this one, no matter what the vehicle. Not a great experience. Was called repeatedly before the purchase. Multiple times a day. Once the purchase was made, I had a concern with the brakes on the purchased car that I called about, and I never heard back, so I took the car to another mechanic myself to resolve the problem. Ended up having to call the dealership to tell them I took care of it and for another concern, again the salesman said he would find out and call me back. That was a week ago... no call back as of yet. The used car is fine, but the buying process (I was paying cash) took almost 3 hours! Terrible service with getting issues with my 2020 kia sportage fixed. I took my vehicle to the dealer at least 3 times with sensor light on for tire pressure , always the rt rear showing low tire pressure. each time the light was off when I left the dealership just to come on the next day or so. Almost for a couple of months of owning the vehicle having issues with the radio just going off while driving . I have told the dealership multiple times. They told me a fuse was loose one time and it was fixed however It went out the next day. each time I have my oil changed and tires rotated I have mentioned the radio issues. after multiple complaints of tire sensor I was told I had a screw in the tire and it was repaired and no additional issues with the sensor. However the radio is still not fixed I have video to prove what it is doing sometimes it will not go off when vehicle is off. and I have video of that as well. My last service I was told it is now out of warranty and they did a deep reset ? what ever that is? so while driving back to my hometown the radio goes out again and I had a filter and screws in the floor of the car after service . I called and they said they passed car to someone for radio and it didnt get put back in. I was told if i would drive it back 30 min away they would put it back in. I was so upset why would I think they would do it correctly . Nothing ever gets fixed. and I bought the extended warranty . This is the 3rd New Kia I have purchased and it will be the LAST. When I think back on the wheel sensor was my tires rotated? after all the same sensor came on only the next day or two after being checked. Kia did refund the charge for the last service. saying they didnt think they should be paid for service not done correctly. I totally agree Kia . read more

I am COMPLETELY impressed with the service and staff!! We are approximately 750 away from home pulling our 2016 Kia Sorrento on our tow dolly behind our motorhome when it wouldn't start. I discovered Kia of Murfreesboro was 1.5 hours away (and on our way to our vacation destination). The staff was very professional and helpful. One of the staff members (Will) met us at our rig , and jump started our vehicle. He took it in for diagnostic. With a car that was becoming less and less reliable, I had started car shopping over a year ago. It was a discouraging process as I was going to dealerships that practically blew me off yet still attempted business with me through numerous phone calls. Needless to say, I was ready to buy a car from private owner. However, I figured to look up my top car choices online (which included Kia Forte) and found that Kia of Murfreesboro had a used '16 Forte with a decent price and still very low mileage. The next day (this was in July), I went to KoM to check out the car. The staff and dealers I've dealt with were very personable and friendly. They did not seem like the typical dealers I've had in the past. As a matter of fact, the owner, Martin Herr, also came out and discussed financing options with me; his interaction and interest were a surprise to me, because the myriad of previous dealerships I've discussed offers with only had the unseen owner/manager as "the guy in the back" who doesn't seem interested enough to make an appearance to a customer who is making a huge investment decision in his product (sorry for the rant). Martin also offered some ways to help with the finances including increasing the amount for my trade-in of my former unreliable car. The staff reassured me with some of the financing questions and concerns I had. With all the kindness and helpfulness of the KoM staff, my first own car purchase went very smoothly. They were also respectful of my dad coming along for the negotiation portion of the deal. Plus, I've been given two free oil changes on the car; I just had my first oil change. The service center also offered a free car wash, which I had intended to do later this week. They also added air to my tires, which I also had intended to do later when I go to get gas. While I waited on the oil change, the waiting room offers refreshments and magazines. The service staff was also very courteous. As for the Kia Forte: I love the car. It's fun to drive. (And it has Bluetooth which is nice for hands-free calling or listening to music.) Staff/dealers: Shon Gilbert and Ken Stevenson(?) I am very thankful for their help and kindness.
