Car overheating after the repair was made.
    Justin C.

I brought my car here became I was having problems with it overheating. I figured Hyundai would know best. After explaining to the service advisor about what work had already been done by another mechanic the service department recommended I do the same work over. Replace the thermostat. So I trusted the service department and I went with their suggestion. I brought the car in on a Monday and the service person told me the car would be ready by Thursday at the latest. So I started calling on Thursday for an update. No one would answer the phone in the service department. Finally I text a number given to me by the service person. It was a personal cell phone number. The person reply was, I am off today. Once I got to the bottom of the situation I was informed no one had worked on my vehicle that day because my assistant was off. So they got it repaired after I called and intervened. I got my car back Friday morning and drive it to Nashville and it overheated again. I paid $700 for that repair. I called the dealership and once again no one was answering the phone. I informed them of my issue and they told me to bring it back in again. I brought it back on Saturday. I got a text Monday evening asking me to approve the repairs suggested again. I approved the repairs because I needed my car to get to work. They informed me it would be ready Thursday at the latest. I called Thursday again to get an update. Same story my assistant was off that day and nothing had been done to fix my car. The assistant text me again from a personal cell number. Explains to me they are off today and no one was working on my car. They tried to call the dealership and no one would answer the call. I called and finally got through to someone and they then started working on my repair. I go to pick up my car after maybe 12 times I tried calling the service department. When I got there I was informed I owed another $800. The one thing I noticed while I was there.. The Hispanic service technician's personal cell phone rang and he answered it on the first ring. As the phone of the dealership was ringing. I was very upset for one about his lack of service and two the bill. Why did I have to pay for a repair that didn't fix my problem? I paid my bill and left. My car overheated again on the way home. I called back and they said bring it back in... Third trip now back in... I was very frustrated. I saw the General Manager and I told him my situation and he agreed with me that I shouldn't have to pay for a repair that didn't fix the problem. He also told me he would take my car as a trade in. He acted like he cared and he was the only one who acted like they cared. I brought the car in overhead and steaming. They kept my car till Tuesday and text me saying they couldn't find anything wrong with my car. I picked my car up. It's still overheating. They have not refunded me one dollar. The service manager refused to speak to me. I asked several to talk to him. He never called me or spoke to me. Now the dealership won't even return my phone calls. The GM is a fake and a liar. Hyundai has an incredibly horrible service rating. Don't buy anything from this dealership or the dodge dealership next door. Same piss poor management. I would never buy a Hyundai again. They left me $1700 worth of repairs 12 days in repair shop and a still broken car. I tell everyone I see and talk to about the bad service here. This is a latest picture of my temperature needle. I'm going to. Opt this review and put it on every site I can to warn people about the practice of this dealership. Please don't call the dealership they won't answer the phone. Or they will lie to you. Never buy a Hyundai you will be sorry.

30 minutes after Carla placed me on hold

I came to get my "check engine light" looked at on a Wednesday at 10AM (I had to take time off of work), and they didn't call me back to tell me about what the issue was until around 2:30. We discussed payment options because it was going to be around $870 because of a $200 diagnostic fee and $664 charge to fix the issue. In the end I was going to deal with finding a way to pay and I asked my advisor Jeff to have the technician start the job. I keep calling asking for an update and around 5:30 Jeff calls to tell me that the technician working on my car broke another part in the process of putting everything back and they don't have that part in stock. I'm told the part would be in by Friday and they'd call me for an update to let me know about the car but they don't have any rentals to give me and they can't let me drive my car without the part BUT Jeff assures me they can offer me some sort of discount for the inconvenience. Come Friday I call as soon as they open asking if the part came in and I get a voicemail. I call about 4 different times as the day gets later and later asking for a call back and still not getting one. Here we are at 5:11 and I've been on hold for 20 minutes after Carla assured me Jeff would call me back when he was done with another client (this was around 4). They are literally giving me no response and at this point this service deserves to be free. My car is essentially held hostage and I've had to take off 2 days because I have no car. I don't have the money to Uber back and forth if they tell me my car isn't ready. I'm disgusted with the way they've treated me and I'm disgusted with the lack of empathy for me being stuck at home with no car due to THEIR technicians mistake. If I could give 0 stars I would!

If you go here to buy a new car, please ask for Chris as your salesman! He was so helpful, funny, and got us a great deal on my new car. Happy Birthday! Have a great day :)

Poor communication from the service department. I would not recommend this location if you need assistance or maintenance on your vehicle.

I found a number of cars to look at went to dealers to look after work every night for a week, with no luck at any Nashville dealer I tried. I had found 6 vehicles at International Cars in Murfreesboro that I wanted to see, so they were my first stop when I had a full day off on Saturday. Hala didn't flinch when I showed her a list of 6 cars I wanted to see, but simply got the keys for all of them for me and gave me a magnetic license plate so I could move it from car to car when I was ready to test drive. She gave me plenty of time to look each car over, make notes, and test drive them but was always available when I needed something. I am better able to look and make a decision without someone hovering or giving me a sales pitch, so I very much appreciated the space and patience. I was there for hours, and ended up test driving 8 cars - some of them twice after my boyfriend met me there to take a look at my favorites. Hala, her husband, and the rest of the team were helpful without hovering, and were able to answer any question we had about the cars. I finally settled on one I wanted to buy that day, but pointed out 3 things that needed to be fixed, which they took care of before Hala and I could even finish the paperwork on the loan and sale. I had already been pre-approved for a car loan with USAA, and Hala dialed their number from my office phone and waited while I finished the loan process, providing any information I needed for that loan. She also waited while I worked with USAA to transfer my insurance to the new vehicle, and made sure I had everything I needed to drive home in that new car the same day I bought it. The entire team at International Cars was helpful but not pushy and I felt very welcome. Their cars are nice and every one I tested drove well. I would definitely visit this dealer again the next time I need to buy a vehicle.

$252.15 to replace a tag light (tag lights that work; not out)…read more I went to Toyota of Murfreesboro for a 15,000 mile service. I was told it would take 45 minutes. It actually took 2 hours. Then I was told my tag lights on my 2025 Toyota were out. The cost to replace the bulbs was quoted $252.15. I checked the bulbs; they were not out.

We were upfront about this from the start. We were not looking for a free bumper. We wanted something fair. What we got instead was over eight hours of dishonesty, a reneged contract, and a service advisor who lied to us repeatedly. After Toyota of Murfreesboro returned the vehicle with the bumper ripped halfway off, several tabs destroyed, and new cracks -- significantly beyond what existed before -- I called immediately and was connected to Chris Popin. Chris theorized the car wash likely caused the additional damage. Fine. We came back to work out a deal. Then the lies began. Chris quoted the replacement part at $800+. It's listed on their own website for $418.74. I pulled it up in front of him. He claimed it would need painting -- false. He claimed it might be the wrong part -- also false, confirmed by VIN. He then contradicted his own car wash theory, saying it couldn't have caused that level of damage, despite photographic proof that only one tab was damaged beforehand. After three hours of his moving goalposts, we reached a signed agreement: $418.74 for the part, $65 labor, $200 goodwill discount. When my wife arrived for the scheduled repair -- with our infant son -- Chris informed her the labor would be $279 more because they "didn't see the damage before." (Then what were you doing during the three hours I was there previously?) He then claimed he couldn't locate the signed contract from the prior week. She showed him the photo I had the foresight to take. They honored the deal only after being cornered with their own paperwork. They waited until I wasn't present to attempt to renegotiate a signed agreement with my wife. We had already acknowledged the prior damage and asked only for fairness. Instead, Chris lied about pricing, lied about parts, contradicted himself on the cause of damage, and his team attempted to walk back a signed contract. I took time out of my busy day to drive down and confront them about this and to ensure they honored their agreement; all I got was excuses and lies. Come prepared: know their labor rate is $164/hour, clear your cookies before browsing their site (dynamic pricing), and document everything in writing. They won't honor it unless you back them into a corner, you'll need to have proof. I am furious and disgusted. We will not be working with them again.

Immediately after purchase, I encountered multiple problems. The key fob had a dead battery, and the TPMS light was illuminated due to tire-related issues. These concerns were apparent before I even had time to familiarize myself with the vehicle--there was a non-matching spare tire stored in the trunk, and the vehicle did not include a jack. In addition, within two days, a further issue arose with the backup sensors. I contacted the dealership regarding this matter, and the problem was acknowledged only after the fact. The interior also had an obvious odor of dog, and the vehicle was delivered with approximately two-thirds of a tank of gas. I also found the sales process, particularly the conduct of the salesman (TJ), to be unprofessional. Despite my credit union verifying the transaction and providing payment that was mailed the next day, the salesman's attitude made the process feel reluctant and discourteous. Overall, the dealership provided poor service and left me responsible for addressing problems that should have been corrected or disclosed prior to purchase.
