Imagine you run over a nail without even knowing it. That was me the other day!! My low tire pressure light came on, so I thought why not get it filled up? I came to Discount Tire, and they found a nail in my tire--- then they repaired it for free! And fast. Oh, the service here was wonderful. Kevin helped me out, he was super friendly and knowledgeable. I can't remember the other guy's name, but he was blonde and wore glasses, he was really nice too. There's great energy here that I love, I hear a lot of "thank you" around here and a lot of laughs. :)) That's a plus!! I also got my wipers replaced since it had almost been two years. I have been using Discount Tire for 20 years. I love the service there, and the tires are good quality. I like that they patch tires for free if you buy them there. However, I made the mistake of getting their credit card recently. Do not do it!! It is interest-free for 9 months, so I thought I would try it. We made the first payment on time. A few days later, I received a text and a call that my payment was late, and I was charged $30 late fee. They said my payment was invalid, so maybe a number in the bank account was wrong. I asked them to verify it before we paid again, and they said they couldn't. Why didn't they call me as soon as the payment didn't go through? Why can't they look at my account to make sure that my payment is valid now? It seems like a scam to me. Edit: After getting nowhere with the automated chat, we finally found how to access the live chat. They waived the late fee, thankfully. read more

We live in GA, and had new tires put on my car Saturday afternoon. Didn't notice until a highway drive on Sunday that the weights on front tire were missing. Husband was leaving for Nashville and there was no time to visit our local store. So I googled all discount tire shops between our house and Nashville. Looked at reviews and this shop was five star review consistently! He left early Monday morning in time to be at the Store when they opened. There were already 10 people in line, he was worried the wait would be long. Super nice assistance from staff, told him would be an hour, got him fixed and in and out in 35 minutes! 6/20/23 I had a nail in my tire after 5pm. This Church Street store closes at 6pm. I called ahead and they said come on in. They had 18 people waiting and still got my tire patched and out the door by 7pm. The service is always top notch, they're always nice, and the added perk of tire repair if you buy there is unbeatable. I will no longer go to Tire Discounters on South Church Street or any other location after my last visit. Until recently, the South Church Street store employed very good technicians. That has changed, probably due to "employee politics" among the techs. My last visit entailed having an alignment done along with other suspension work. Two or three days later I started hearing a rattle in the front end that sounded like something was loose. I brought this matter to the attention of the manager. He said that they (meaning the tech(s)) had checked to see that all items were secure. Not so... When I get good service I am a very loyal customer. After believing what I was told since I had never before had any issues, my wife and I were riding around hearing an intermittent "rattle." This past weekend I installed a Strutmaster Conversion kit to do away with the air suspension. The quality of the ride is very much like the factory original suspension. When starting the project I first jacked up each side of the front (individually) , performing a lateral wheel movement test by hand that I discovered there was about 1" - 1.5" inches of lateral movement; hence, the rattling sound. I also was able look and see the outer tie rod on the driver's side was moving. By the grace of God, did I decide to do the suspension conversion! The outer tie rod end was on the brink of separating from the steering knuckle!! If that had happened on the interstate we would have wrecked, quite possibly being seriously injured or worse! Everyone makes mistakes and I am by no means immune. However, when someone tells me something and I later discover it's not true, that tells me they are not taking responsibility. This is not some "water cooler" gossip matter. This is something quite serious that needs to be corrected before someone is seriously injured or killed. read more

I've never had an experience from an auto place as good as I have with Discount Tire. The first thing they did is they had the tires I wanted. Then they beat the other guy in town's price. They called me sir, opened the door for me and came and got me with the car running and the keys in it when they were finished. The employees had a sense of urgency as they worked on my car. They didn't try and sell me anything I didn't want and pointed out all the options I had with my new tire purchase. They were friendly, respectful and professional. They worked like they were having fun. It reminded me of how great it would be to be young again. Near 5000 miles, I went in and they rotated and balanced the tires free. They could have balked saying it was not quite 5000 miles since I bought the tires but no. It was a "no problem sir, I'll get right on it attitude." I was pleased with them being able to get me in pretty quickly today. they have great tires and great warranties. today, however, one of the techs was backing out my truck and was curious what was wrong with the brakes. the truck started locking up when we were backing it out of the garage, and they were trying to get us to take it to the dealership to get it figured out. when my boyfriend sat in the truck to try it out and drive to the dealership, he saw they had been backing it out with the parking break on. outside of that, discount tire is always great with friendly service. Just a quick 5 star review of Discount Tire on Church Street in Murfreesboro, TN. After a rough day at work I climbed into my truck and the tire pressure light was on. I stopped to get air at a local gas station and after paying $1.50 for some air I noticed a bolt in my tire. I drove to Discount Tire and a very nice gentleman walked out to my truck to see the bolt and said they would see what they could do. Even though they were very busy and I didn't have an appointment they quickly and professionally repaid the tire for free. Boi really tried to finesse me, brought my car in because the muffler to it was bad, charged me 150 just to weld it back on(didn't really had any options since everything was booked for weeks) as I picked up my car the next day the service engine soon light was on. called him up asking why is it on and all he could tell me was "might be the sensor on it" had to go out of my way all the way back for him to fix it. went on to driving it again and started to hear a rattling sound underneath my car, so had to call him up again and tell him tf did he do to my car again, he tells possible things it could be and "bring it in tomorrow and we'll talk about prices" mind you this all happened in one day as I got my car back from him. my car has never made that noise till I brought it to him. The next day I brought it to him he tell me exactly what's wrong with it without even looking at it and tells me it'll be 350 to fix. I tell him it never made that noise till I brought it to him, he then tries to gaslight me into say my car has always made that noise I just never noticed it. like are you serious??? A friend of mine referred me to Discount Tires and they patched up my tires and replaced one tire with their used temporary tire for free because I couldn't afford new tires. I went into Discount tire on Saturday May 16th 2020. Waited about 5-10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Lenny was quite nice. After my truck was completed, my daughters and I went home. I didn't drive my truck until the following Monday. I noticed there was a vibration in my steering wheel. I asked my mother to take it in to see what was going on with the tires. Due to me working 12 hour shifts at the hospital.They told my mother that the rim was bent. The gentleman I spoke to told me that I might not have noticed the bent rim due to the fact that the old tire molded around the bend and that's why I didn't feel any vibration. He then accused me of driving over a pothole and that was how I bent my rim. I live a 16th of a mile away from this location and due to the quarantine there is no place to go but home. I did not hit any potholes, I also drive a truck, so potholes shouldn't bend any rims. He then quoted me $300 for a new rim or taking somewhere to get it bent back into place. He didn't realize I had just gotten those tires put on 2 days prior and quickly changed his tone when he realized it. He then proceeds to tell me that when he checks the other tires he would have my mother call me back to see what steps to take next. My mother then tells me that when I had hung the phone up with an employee they quickly put my tires back on, handed her the keys and stated they did not cause the problem. A Discount Tire employee accidentally bent my aluminum rim Saturday, knew he did it, handed me my keys, and sent me and my children on our merry way. What if something happened while my kids were in my vehicle? Poor service, poor customer service, and poor management. Do the right thing Discount Tire and replace the rim your employee damaged. read more
