Called the store at 8:30am was told they would be able to get me in for new tires and alignment. Got to the store 30 mins later stood in line for 20mins was told the car would be ready by 1pm. Checked the status at 2pm car still hasn't been serviced was told appointments came before my car and that it would be completed by closing time at 6pm. After spending $2000 on a new set of tire I noticed my tire monitoring system was not registering. I called the store back about 5 min after leaving the store and was told that it would reset its self after about 20 miles. Needless to say after about 200 miles it's still not working. I called and was told to bring it back by and it would only take about 5 min to reset. unfortunately, it took about an hour since I had to wait in line behind customers who have not even purchased tires yet. Discovered an issue with a tire and needed an immediate fix and chose Discount primarily because it was conveniently located. I had purchased tires at the old location across the street and knew they had tires in the size I needed. The new location is larger and comfortable. I say comfortable because I ended up spending several hours there. Complimentary refreshments were available and a large window for viewing the garage is there for anyone who wants to see the progress of work. I was greeted immediately upon entering and helped after a short wait. Ordered tires for a 2019 Chevy Spark over a week ago and scheduled an appointment for my next free Saturday, as this place is 40 miles from home. I got a call earlier this week that the tires were in stock and they were available if I wanted to come in early. Due to my distance from this shop and the fact that I have a job I could not come in early. I show up saturday at 11:50 for a 12:15 appointment. I get a text to follow the progress and I notice my car never enters the bay for service and the tracker says my car should be done at 12:35. At 12:45 I inquire on the status of my car, only to be told they can't find the 4th tire. I have already paid for these tires and installation online. I'm told they can put a 4th tire of a different brand or I can just come back when they show up. Keep in mind I came in today because I was told they were here. Then they tried to upsell me new wheels and other tires as a deal for failing me. Stop the madness. I need tires, they are an odd size so I am stuck with unmatched tires until the 4th one shows up from the Discount Tire Fairy. Even if they don't have the tires in stock at that time they will accommodate to have it that same day delivery. Or schedule to have it put on another day. Great deals on tires, fast and friendly service. I had tires installed on both cars within a week of each other. I ordered the tires online and the tires were installed while I waited. I believe the longest wait time was for the second car and that was around 45 minutes due to them being very busy that day. The first car took maybe 20 minutes? Other places will take half the day to get around to installing the tires and then you'll have to deal with unwanted upselling. I was impressed with how fast and easy the process was and I appreciated not having high pressured upselling. I ordered some rims and tires as a bundle from here and waited 3 weeks for them to come in because the rims I ordered were on back order, which is understandable and not a problem at all. The rims finally came in this week so I booked an appointment to get them put on my car about a week in advance. When I arrived for my appointment I had to wait for 3 hours before one of the workers informed me that the rims I ordered from them would not fit my car and I had previously been told multiple times that they would fit on my car without any problems before purchasing them. I did get refunded for the rims but this was a complete waste of my time and one of the worst experiences I have had with any kind of car/tire shop. Dropped off the wife's car for a tire rotation and a repair of a slow leak this morning. New tires. Got them from discount tire in December. Got a call at 11am to come pick up the car. Was told they could not get ahold off us so they replaced a bad tire. $180. Wife asked why the tire was replaced instead of repaired. They said the hole was too big to repair. We've been airing the tire up once every 2 weeks until we could get it in to the shop. Hole could not have been that big. Still should not have replaced the tire without discussing it with us. $180 we don't have right now. We would have been fine with the old tire just putting air into it occasionally. It never went flat . They refused to put it back on. Ended up wanting to charge us $50. Sound like a typical auto shop cheap trick to get more money out of customers. Never had a problem with Discount Tires in Illinois....but since we moved to Tennessee they seem kinda shady. Might have to check into some other tire shop for the next purchase. read more

I have no interest in cars, so I couldn't tell you anything about them except the fact that I drive one; they were so helpful in taking me into the bay to show me what was wrong with my tire and how to go about fixing it when I didn't understand their mechanic talk. I was very impressed that they did this, and they asked for my approval before continuing even with the risk that something might go wrong (one of my tire's lug nuts were cross-threaded by the dealership). I bought 2 front tires at the end of March this year. 4 months later the balance needed to be done. I took it in, "they did the balance". I drove away and the car was still shaking. I went about a month before calling them because I have had other things that needed taken care of. I called them today and asked if I needed an appointment and told them what was going on. Shawn said come on in, you don't need an appointment. I drive all the way there and Wil comes out with an attitude asking me what I needed. After explaining the balance issue he goes around my car and squeezes the tires. Not sure what the hell he was doing but anyway. He said, Ok it will be 2 hours before we can get to you. I said I have an appointment I have to be at and y'all said I could come right in. IF I go back, this will be the 4th trip at getting the tires balanced.
