My mother in law went in to get some air in her tires as they were low from the cold around 23-25 psi. The tires on her Jeep should be around 38-40 psi and they filled all four tires to 59-61 psi. Terrible job will not ever go back to this location. read more

I received new tires and alignment. They were unable to align my tires correctly. instead of coming out and telling me directly they were unable to get it right they didn't say anything. I was told the printer was down when I specifically had to ask about my alignment issues I was having and why I didn't have a paper on the alignment. The value was decent they did take the money off they told me they would after charging me full price then I had to speak up about what they promised. They did end up taking the price off they said they would to begin with. All in all, not worth the hassle I would rather pay a little more and go somewhere else. read more

I went to this place today asking for a oil change, tire, rotation, and wheel balancing. As well as a safety inspection. I believe they changed the oil, and the tire rotation was free, which is nice. However, they did not even take the tires off of my car. I put one little piece of tape over the wheel center cap space to make sure they actually rotated them. They did not. They didn't do the balancing either. Furthermore, after the vehicle inspection, they quoted me $500 worth of parts which I was able to find on Amazon for $200 brand new from the factory. Whenever I picked up this vehicle, they lied and said that the tires had been rotated and that everything was good to go, but I get in the car and there are black smudge marks on the seat and grease stains on the new floor mats and the door sill. I usually trust tire discounters but this location is NOT the one to go to!!! read more

I've been to this store 4 or 5 times since it opened, and I've gotten OUTSTANDING service with every visit. Today they are checking a trailer (camper) tire for a leak. Against my better judgement, I went to Sam's Club first--it was more convenient--against my better judgement. After looking at the tire visually and slinging some dirty soap on it, told me nothing was wrong with it, and if I wanted them to check it off the trailer, to go home and bring back just the tire... "we don't do trailers," which is bull because they've done work on my larger camper in the past, right there in their parking lot. After today, I will never give Sam's Club any of my automotive business ever again. You can bet I will be back to Tire Discounters though! Prompt, courteous service. I brought my car in because I had a nail in my tire. I had bought my wheels and tires here a few weeks prior, spent thousands of dollars. When I was buying tires and wheels, they got us in and out quick. But when I brought it in with a nail in one tire, we waited two hours in waiting room. Two weeks later I brought it in again because same tire was losing air again. This time I waited almost three hours. Ridiculous. The guy made it sound like it wouldn't take long at all both times. Appointments mean nothing to them. I had a 12:00 appointment and was checked in by 12:05. There were 3-4 people already there and what looked like 5-6 employees. My vehicle wasn't brought back for 45 min to an hour. Fair enough, you have to finish the people whose vehicles were already in process. By 1:40 I saw my vehicle wasn't brought on the ground but just sitting there. Maybe there was something else to do? 30 min later it is still sitting there. No one has touched or even looked at it. All employees are working on other vehicles. I finally have to ask about my vehicle. It's been done. 2 hrs 15 min for a tire rotation that I've seen their competitor finish in 45 min. I'm new to the Murfreesboro area and happened to choose Tire Discounters because they were the closest shop to my house, and I'm so glad I did. The manager, TJ, was very accommodating and helpful. He and his mechanics spent extra time synching my new OEM TPMS sensor, which I provided, even though it would have been faster and easier for them to use one of their in-house sensors. While waiting for my vehicle repair, I had the opportunity to observe TJ interact with many of his employees, customers on the phone, and customers in person. As a former business owner and manager I was impressed with his professionalism, courtesy, knowledge, and command of his business. This shop also performs all dealer recommended automobile maintenance so I will be returning for all of my service work. Tire Discounters has earned my business. Took my truck in to have 4 new tires put on not cheap tires at that . Told them to put white letters out . Sales ladies said she would make a note of it . Went back to pick up my truck and no white letters out . Told me they didn't have any but told me that morning that they did so instead of calling me to let me know they didn't have them they just went ahead and put regular tires on . Very unprofessional at the least . So I have $1100 in a set of tires I didn't want . Thanks ! Need to spend more time on customer satisfaction instead of silly slogans on signs . This is specifically for the location on Lascassas pike in M'boro. Avoid them at all cost. They will tell you your tires need replacing, even if they're only a few months old. They will tell you they are LEGALLY required to change them LOL. They hung up on my mother because she got tired of telling them she didn't want new tires. I stopped going there years ago and now my mother and wife will NEVER go back there. This location is directly across the street from my house and I'd still rather drive to another location farther away. I suggest you do the same. read more

Wonderful service! We were visiting relatives in town and needed to have our air pressure checked on our tires. Matt, the service manager came to our rescue! Because our mini van was heavily loaded we were unsure about what the correct pressure was. He stopped what he was doing and checked and properly inflated the tires for us at no charge. I had an appointment set to get a tire checked out. Had my father in law drop it off we wait for a full hour to get told the tire was unrepairable. When asked why we were told it was because the tread was too low. No biggie, i understand where they are coming from but also I had a suspicion they didn't really look at it, they were slammed and I was watching my car the whole time, not once did someone take the tire off... I asked them to put air in it, I ended up dropping my car off at Honda of Murfreesboro the next morning and received a call in a couple hours to be told they fix and patched the unrepairable tire that you guys said I would need to replace. Whoever you have working for you is scamming people, you may want to reevaluate your associate and show them honesty and customer service goes a long way when have a long term client. read more

The guy who is always up from was rude and made it seem like he just wanted me to go away so he could get back to what he was doing. I got there very early like they had recommended to ensure a small wait time. They had two people working and one guy basically rejecting people at the door. Im new to the area and tried them out for an oil change after being ripped off at a competitor. They gave me a discount cause they were slammed that day and I had to wait. Brought my car in again and the repair ended up being more extensive. They quoted me a price but then the vehicle fought them hard to give up the broken piece. It took a few days and then it finally came out. They did not charge me one penny more! Brought in my mom's car the next day and again they made their recommendations without padding the bill. This place is a joke. To make a super long story short they fixed some stuff on my car and also broke some parts they put in. While changing other parts they broke my AC in the beginning of the summer. After having my car 3 weeks and putting junk yard parts in it to try to fix it they gave up. They cut parts out of my car and installed older things and told me to take my car to the dealer to prove they did stuff wrong and are denying all of it. Lucky I have pictures and videos of the parts and the video of me talking to the district manager and the general manager. Nissan has determined what they did wrong and now the GM is saying he told me to keep him in the loop... however I was told to take to dealer and get it fixed like they told me. Now that summer is almost over my AC works but I can't get my car back till the bill is paid!! Do not trust these guys with your car. They may have cheap tires but they have no idea what they are doing. If you decide to take your car there be warned because more than likely they will mess it up! read more

Nightmare. Daughter's car would not start on return trip from Tenn to Fla. Battery? Starter? No. Easy Target. Their first response was bad computer. 1 hr later it was "bad gas" that they would need to pull tank out on Monday. 1 hr before closing it became the fuel pump. Very expensive to be done after weekend. Had to extend stay. Monday the pump was replaced and the car had acceleration issues on the return trip AND the fuel guage never worked again. I had my car looked at for tire air pressure and the person who aired it up couldn't even glance to see if he saw something or not, telling me I have to check in and wait 2 hours. How hard is it to look down at a tire and glance if something is in it or not? Then when I check myself, indeed I found something which could have been disastrous had I not looked because he was too sorry to say yes or no and look. Lack of management leads to poor service and these guys lack skills needed. I probably wouldn't even buy tires from them. Who knows, you might loose a wheel because they don't mount it right if they are too sorry to even check for a puncture to a tire without the wait. The wait should only be if they glance and see something in it. That only takes a second for them to look but they did nothing. I even called and he tried being rude and hanging up the phone when I said I would notify corporate. This shows how lousy they operate. If you have problems here, don't say you weren't warned. Simply asked for a check on my car to make sure everything was alright, and something's were off per usual, but they didn't inform me about my tork strut needing to be replaced. Until I drove my car feeling different calling them, and bringing it back to have to cost more for something that didn't happen before I gave it to them... I do have to acknowledge that tire discounters did have the most reasonable prices for tires after shopppng around. However, that is the only positive thing I can say about this place. About a month after buying my tires I had to return for a flat (I'm assuming I pick up a nail in my neighborhood due to construction). When I returned to get my tire repaired I asked them to do a few things including: checking the alignment, turn the low pressure light off, rotate, and repair the flat. I ended up paying over a $100 for an alignment only a month after having the tires. I just chalked that up to having a partially flat tire. But after getting home (about a 30 min drive) my tire was flat. They also did not turn the sensor light off like I had asked. But the best part is-today I decided to go get my tire repaired by a place close by my work. They reported to me they found no previous patch in the tire AND it had a screw in it. So basically this place appears to only have put air in my flat tire! I won't be returning to this place or recommending it to anyone. read more

Just walked into the location and waited at the counter for about 5 minutes as the employee working the counter was on the phone with someone (I work in the service industry so I get it). When he came to help me he seemed exasperated that I was there. I told him I needed a tire rotation/balance and had a slow leak in one tire. He responded quickly in a harsh fashion that it would take 2 hours and explained that it still takes a mechanic to do the work no matter what the job is. I never complained about the wait and felt his attitude was uncalled for. I turned around and walked out. I arrived at the store at 7:55 am so that i could the first customer in and out. I asked for an oil change and tire rotation if needed. I told the service person Tom that i felt a vibration on the way into the store and wanted it corrected. Tom suggested a tire rotation and explained what all it included. i agreed. I get a call from Tom about an hour later saying that he recommended a set of new tires that the ones on the car were worn and unsafe. Tom gave me two options on the tire selection and i agreed to one of them. The car is being driven by my 18 year old daughter that is getting ready to attend her first year of college in cookeville,tn. . Six hours later i call for Tom to ask when the car will be ready. As luck would have it , Tom is out to lunch and the store manager said that there was a mix up and the wrong tires arrived. In six hours no one called me. Tom calls me 7 1/2 hours later and says that the car is ready. I arrive and make him aware that i am not happy. I view the bill and there is two charges that i did not agree to and their response was that how TIRE DISCOUNTERS does it. When Tom quoted me the price on the Tires he omitted a $95.00 charge that he said that they had to charge. The store manager was listening to the conversation and agreed that this is how they do business. The $20.00 was a tire disposal fee that i had told Tom that i wanted the tires and that i would handle the disposal myself. The store manager said that it didn't matter that they had to charge it anyway. I paid and left very unhappy and very angry. I am going to call or write the Tire discounter Head Quarters and ask if this is policy. read more
