Long Version: If you have a minute to stick around, let me tell you my story so you will know how awesome this place is..... Roughly four weeks ago, on December 15, 2023, I drove from NC to Murfreesboro to spend a couple of days with family in the area. I was supposed to have a really quick turnaround. During my drive to Murfreesboro, I had a light turn on in my BMW X3 regarding my coolant. I arrived in town Friday evening and the following morning, I took my vehicle to BMW of Nashville to have the coolant checked/refilled. While my vehicle was at the dealer, they identified a leak and completed further diagnosis to determine the radiator hose needed a replacement - this was the primary radiator hose on top. The quote provided to me by the dealership to complete the repair was egregious compared to the average cost for this repair. The cost was FOUR TIMES the average cost of replacing a radiator hose. I immediately began exploring other options which is where Chris comes into play. I called ATL Total Car Care and explained my situation and the needed repair. We talked through it and Chris was willing to help me and take my car in, the same day, to assist. Chris did not have the hose that I needed in stock but said if I could purchase the part directly from the dealer, he would still handle the repair. So, with Chris' idea, I was able to pick up my car from the dealer, purchase the necessary hose directly from the parts department, and then headed to Chris' way! They close around 2 pm on Saturday from what I recall. Chris took my car in around 12:30 that afternoon - he and his team stayed past closing time to complete the repair. The team waited for me to come and pick up the vehicle and close out afterward. Outstanding service. Affordable pricing. Good People.

Unfortunately, the repairs were too extensive, as well as expensive for us to take on. However, Tom was incredibly helpful during the entire process. He kept us updated and informed on the best way to move forward, specifically since we were dealing with this from a different city. He made me feel like we were in trusted hands and even helped us out by clearing our things from our car before it got towed away. I would strongly caution anyone considering bringing their vehicle to Christian Brothers Automotive…read morebased on my experience over multiple visits. I have a 2017 BMW and have brought it to this location repeatedly since February for ongoing cooling system issues. During that time, multiple components were replaced, including the radiator, hoses, water pump, and engine coolant outlet. Despite this, problems continued, and new issues developed immediately after repairs. Most recently, after cooling system work, my air conditioning stopped working properly. It would only blow slightly cool air while driving and would get warmer at idle -- a clear change from how it functioned before the repair. When I brought it back, I was told the A/C expansion valve needed to be replaced due to "high pressure." However, when I asked for actual pressure readings or any concrete diagnostic data to support that conclusion, none was provided. The explanation remained vague and was not backed by measurable values. I also asked whether airflow-related issues had been ruled out (such as the cooling fan or airflow across the condenser), given that the symptoms were worse at idle. Again, no clear or detailed answer was given. I specifically requested confirmation that the cooling system was vacuum filled and properly pressure tested after the prior repair. While I was told verbally that it was done, there was no documentation provided to verify it. A major concern throughout this process has been communication. When I sent detailed follow-up questions by email, they were not answered. Instead, I would receive a message that the vehicle was ready for pickup, without any of my questions being addressed. I also contacted the owner directly, as he has suggested in responses to other reviews, and did not receive any response. The only documentation provided after each visit was basic invoices listing parts replaced, with no meaningful technician notes, diagnostic detail, or recorded test data. For a vehicle with repeated and interconnected issues, this lack of transparency is a serious concern. While the car is currently operating normally after the latest repair, the pattern of repeated issues, unsupported diagnoses, and lack of communication made this a frustrating, expensive, and time-consuming experience. Based on my experience, I would not feel confident returning here for future repairs, especially for anything requiring detailed diagnostics. I would strongly recommend that others ask for clear diagnostic data and written confirmation of procedures before approving any work.

I took the vehicle back so they can look at it. When I say they provided me sign a loaner until I get mh vehicle back. They have kept in contact with daily with the process of my vehicle. Long story short, they called ms and stated my vehicle was ready. The advisor advise me that they have fix my chief complaint plus they have put four new tires on, they have change my oil, transmission fluids, done the entire inspection. I am so grateful that these people at Carmax have helped me out a lot. They took so much stressed off of me. I would most definitely recommend CARMAX to anyone as they care for customers. I had a car with 25 miles on the odometer shipped from a CarMax in Texas to Tennessee on a car…read morehauler when it arrived at my location nearly 2 weeks after I had paid to ship it. , there was 140 miles showing on the odometer. I test drove and purchased the car after going over it to check everything out. when the car was brought around to the front of the store it was dripping water from a car wash they put it through and then I noticed that it had been damaged on the passenger side bumper. The person there who came out from service said the car wash had done this before ( Making me wonder why they were still using it ) . They contacted me 4 days later and said that they were going to take care of the damage. Then after receiving the estimate tried to claim the damage was reported on the sales disclaimer although it was not that large and was on the driver side hood area , opposite side of the damage now on it. Have contacted insurance company and they will repair and then have attorneys contact the company. Everyone in CarMax will lie straight to your face ab what is going on with your vehicle at any part of the process. went to the store after receiving an email about the damage and no one there knew who the person was although the email stated he was a manager at this location.
