Highly recomended not to go to these thief's They only did a bad job just because I chose to get my own part cat has already been replaced brand new one although the part was from my end a cat it was improperly installed the cat to flange gasket is used and leaking then the pipe to the muffler clamp is not tight also leaking fail due to improper flow. This last visit my skid plate had started scraping the ground so I went to them and they were able to have it fixed in a matter of minutes. Truly saved my day. read more

I have been a VERY LOYAL customer for 24 years and have sent MANY customers to them from the sports training and law enforcement, first responder communities but NEVER, EVER AGAIN! Two months ago i went for a simple oil change and my cost that i've had for several years went from $59 to $71. Two months later, just this past Wednesday it's now all of a sudden $83! WTF!!! Its ticks me off that all of a sudden my oil went from 5 quarts to using 7 quarts. THEN i get the sheet with all the potential repairs including an almost $800 tuneup (LAUGHABLE AT BEST!!) That $18.95 for up to 4 quarts sign on their roadside sign is just to draw customers in now. It's a LIE!! I was also in a hurry Wednesday and this new manager took his sweet time typing up the same shit he did two months ago about potential repairs. They care more about upselling services instead of customers now! I didn't ask your company to look at services you wanted to sell me! I WENT FOR A DAMN OIL CHANGE!!! Trainers, athletes, law enforcement, first responders AVOID THIS PLACE! There are better and cheaper! A few years ago, I raved about this place! Now i will put them on blast on all of our social media that has a VAST following. I may even blast them out with a special TikTok video! We used to LOVE this place! Since the new owners or management or both took over this place has gone to hell and slid down BADLY! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY going to this place. I would NEVER recommend ANY of my pro or college football or basketball players to stop by there while in town, training with us in Murfreesboro. NEVER! I'm from clarksville TN and my car happen to break down in murfreesboro on October 16th. Tow shop dropped my car off to this shop. Was told it would be 1 hr, when I asked if my car was ready they were rude to me. Not sure I'd its cause I'm young and they had me waiting 5hrs just to diagnose the car and tell me the parts will come tomorrow. Once I got the car the next day I waited a bit for them to finish and I was on my way. Well the car broke down 2/3 of the way home. They didn't even test drive the car to see if it was good to go. Now I have to either get a tow truck to bring the car back which is 3-400$ and my car is still not running and it smells like gas. Thanks alot for your help guys. Real professional read more

I would HIGHLY avoid this place even if it's the ONLY auto shop left on the entire planet. I cannot express how disrespected I felt. I came in asking for an alignment check because my alignment was off about 30°. Jason was the person who was working in the front desk and I had raised my concerns about my car and he said he would take a look and call us to see what was wrong. I brought my car in and left it there for about a day and a half and he said he would call me. A day goes by and no call whatsoever so the next day I decided to call them and see if I could get an update. They said they will be getting to it shortly 4 HOURS pass by and I call again mind you this is just a check to see if anything is wrong with my alignment. Jason said that the front right strut of my car was bent and that it would've costs me $900+ to get it repaired. Mind you I also have no experience with cars so I'm sitting there thinking oh wow that's... expensive for something that didn't seem like it was causing a problem in my car. I talk it over with my dad and he told me to look up the prices of how much it would normally costs to get the strut repaired and google said around $400-1,000 depending on your car model. My car was a very basic car so it should've costs no more than $500-600 for just the right front strut. I go and pick up my car because that was RIDICULOUS. Jason said that I still owed him money for the diagnostic, I'm like okay that's fine usually they costs like $10-20. NO, he charged me $107. That is completely insane for just a diagnostic. The worst part hasn't even happened yet, I got my car back and I decided to take it to firestone because I feel like I trust them more. I got a call from firestone and the person told me that they didn't even see ANYTHING BENT. The ONLY thing that was wrong with my car was my alignment. LIKE I THOUGHT FROM THE BEGINNING. So I have firestone fix my car and guess what, it only costs me $130 TOTAL for an alignment and diagnostic (the diagnostic was only $10). This place is a complete joke and if I could give it negative stars I would. I highly recommend not going here unless you are a white male it seems. I am an asian women that knew nothing about cars and I felt like this was very much racially motivated along with horrible professionalism and I would sue this place and everyone who works here. read more

I am a very mechanically inclined man, but when things are out of my grasp I go to Precision Tune in Murfreesboro. Jeff is who I always deal with and he is a straight shooter and very honest man. Knowing how many mechanics get bad reputations I decided to play dumb the first time I took my car in and act like I didn't know anything to see if they would try to "oversell" me anything. To my delight they gave me the facts and told me the very minimum of what needed to be done to fix my problem. They also found ways to try to save me money as well. They also fixed a problem that 2 other mechanics couldn't fix and also not only told me, but showed me what the previous person did to "fix" it what was take a steel rod and break up parts of my catalytic converter. Good, honest, reliable, and professional mechanics are hard to come by in my opinion and this the best shop I've personally come across in my entire life. My car broke down on Memorial Blvd. I regrettable had it tow to "Not" Christian Brothers Auto Repair. After waiting nearly 2 hours at "Not" Christian Brothers the manager came out with an repair estimate of $985 for water pump and timing belt. Since I had nearly 2 hours I just happened to walk right down the street to Precision Tune Auto Care and explained my situation to the Manager Jeff Ford. He said he would guarantee he could beat any repair that "Not" Christian Brothers would give me. So I took the "Not" Christian Brothers estimate to Jeff at Precision Tune Auto and he had my car towed to his shop and his technician, Kevin, completed all repairs including the tow and a free oil change for $763. If I had gone to PTAC first I would have saved my self 2 hours, $222, a tow bill and the feeling of being ripped off by "Not" Christian Brothers. I was desperate to get my check engine light addressed on my van before I had to take a road trip. My husband called two recommended places in Murfreesboro and neither could see my van until the next day when I was supposed to be on the road. Seeing the five star reviews on this Precision Tune, I took my van there. They told me it would be about 45 minutes before they could put it on the machine. They were very nice and the gentleman who came out to speak to me after he had the codes from the scan was very respectful and took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done on my van. He explained all of the costs -as well as potential costs once he began to work - and proceeded to repair it in very efficient time. I was so appreciative. Everyone at this location was so friendly! I would highly recommend Precision tune of Murfreesboro I have an old 89 Ford F-150 I needed a new water pump. Jeff called be back that afternoon to let me know the water pump was fine it was just the hose going too it needed replaced. Jeff saved me hundreds. A++ for integrity! He also adjusted my old carburetor and its cranking and idling better than it ever has. Great mechanics with integrity and love what they do are hard to find. This is the best auto repair/maintenance place in the Boro. Over the winter, I had a major repair ($900+) that needed to be down to my car. I am a student away from home... I don't have money like that! The owner, Jeff handled the repair with my dad hundreds of miles away by phone. Never once did he try to up the price of my repair knowing I was a student, and he gave me tips on how to home remedy some other problems that I couldn't afford to repair. Monday, I got a certificate in the mail for a free full-service oil change. Not only that, but they offered to look at my car and tires once more before I head home for Father's Day to put my mind at ease. How gracious is that?! With as many car problems as I've had, I've never experienced such first-class, top-notch customer service at an auto shop as I did at Precision.
