We have NEVER received the good treatment we got today from Veronica. Although the food wasn't great and our 8 pc bucket had 6 PCs the man did come tell us they didn't have thighs in crispy and we said we would take original all the chicken was original and there weee no thighs lol. The corn was hard and they gave us enough for 1 person. But... Veronica was patient and kind and answered my questions at the speaker. We unfortunately have not heard from KFC, having contacted them several times and ways. Here is our most recent visit. We have dined at KFC since we were kids, we're now in our 70s. Never had issues. However, we would like to report having been taken advantage yesterday. First we told the gentleman exactly what we were wanting and asked him to configure it so we got the best deal. We not only didn't get what we ordered, but we think that we were charged more than we should have been. Here is what we 'wanted': 2 orders hot wings (this was correct) but the rest of the order gets squirrelly. We asked for: 1 breast, one thigh, 2 slaws and a large fries. NO drinks, no meals unless it was cheaper that way. We were charged 9.79 for a meal with an add on of 1.98; (we were given a large and a small breast - no thigh), 2 slaws at 7.18; fries at 6.19 plus the wings which were correctly charged and given. In summary, we were charged 25.14 (plus tax) for the 2 pcs of chicken, 2 slaws and 1 fries. Coincidentally, last week we got almost the same order and paid 27 and change. I asked if this was the best deal on everything we ordered and were told 'yes' and not in a friendly manner. Ticket number is 1115. We are so disappointed. I hope that this gets read. I do feel that they saw older people and thought that we were either lame, stupid or vulnerable. We are retired professionals and none of the above read more

ordered $40 worth of food, 12pk chicken strips, and large popcorn chicken. the strips were ok at best, tasted like they were sitting awhile, the popcorn chicken was all batter and no chicken 1/2 i bit into had no chicken in it, it was all batter. I just got home from KFC after trying their new Nashville spicy chicken strips, and I must say, they are pretty darn good! I had to wait just a short five minutes because they dropped them fresh. I had absolutely no problem waiting for fresh hot chicken. I ordered a three piece, and I was given four, most likely because there was a slight wait. She even gave me a cookie, I love cookies! Wish I could give this location ZERO STARS. I understand with the Virus a menu will be limited but not how many different orders can be placed. Had a friend with me and She wanted strips to take home while My Husband wanted an Order of chicken for His lunch. My only thinking was to order each person separately that way each order had its own bags since each Order was going to a different place. But oh no, this location could not do that. But they could put each Order in separate bags. Plus when you order the cashier was to busy hurrying you along. Manager end up at the window and was having a fit because she could not get my debt card to take. After the 4th time she decided to swipe the card on the fifth time. I knew there was no problem with the card since I just used it at 2 different places before I got to this location. Then the Manager had a nerve to tell Me that I needed to fix my problem with my Card. Top it off I ask for hot chicken for my Husband and the cashier tells me you get what we give you. We only live 5 minutes away from this location and my Husband ate the chicken when I walk in at home and the chicken was ice cold. Wow!!! After receiving the worst customer service at Wendy's next door (see review), we decide to try KFC. Well it's lovely to know that rotten customer service is consistent in this area. We were greeted by a very nice man that asked if this order was for here or to go. We said, for here. All of the sudden a large disheveled man comes to the counter and says, we are closing in 10 minutes so if you can't eat in 10 minutes you have to leave because we have to lock the doors. What?!?! So South Bend eaters, travelers looking to grab a bite...keep looking. If the quality of food is based on the quality of staff....Yikes! That's not great news for this KFC.
