This KFC met expectations. Nothing above and beyond, but the food was fresh and the service better than many of the fast food places I have visited. My son likes the new feast boxes they offer and it seems like a pretty decent deal so I may try one next time. read more

I should have looked at the reviews before going here! This may be the worse KFC experience I've ever had. The Mt Dew was trash I couldn't even drink it. I got the 3 piece tender meal and only got 2 very small tenders. oh and they forgot my biscuit and didn't even ask what kind of sauce I wanted. The girl at the drive through was semi rude . Bad part is this place is 40 miles away from me. They probably need to fire everyone here. read more

This place just keeps getting worse and worse. We was told at speaker the lady said, "wait I'll help you when I can help you"! So we waiting 10 minutes to get our order taken (smh). We ordered my wife a Mac n cheese, 2 biscuits, and a bowl and we had to pull up in drive thru and have been waiting 20 minutes. I'm not sure why we come here maybe praying for it to get better like the old days. This place is not a Military friendly location. SADDDDD 0 Stars if I could. read more

Service was very rushed and unfriendly. The biscuits were cold, and the chicken was extremely greasy. It also tasted like it had been under a heat lamp. I used to work at Bojangles and I know what old chicken taste like I did not have a straw. I can see now why the parking lot in the drive-through is pretty much always empty. read more

If I could give you a Zero I would. This is the worst place ever in Shelbyville. Rude rude rude staff. There's not a soul there and the rudeness from the drive thru was unbelievable. I won't ever come back. read more

KFC - Worst place ever - Chicken Wings Near Me - Shelbyville, Kentucky

Managers are so rude and mean to their employees, walked in for the first time and the whole kitchen was in chaos! The managers were screaming all over the place and my order took 1 hour. No employee was washing their hands and my food still came out cold! Please never go here go somewhere else and save your time please! read more

Employees are very rude, acted as if we were an inconvenience by even being there to place an order, rushing and someone yelled at us thru the speaker it would be "TEN MINUTES" for nuggets. We drove off after placing half of the order and will not be back to this location. read more

This place sucks in every area. Filthy inside and out. Lady at drive thru was rude and didn't even give me a total nor tell me how much it was when she took my card NOR gave me a receipt. All I ordered was a large coleslaw. Get home it's barely half full and I paid $5.34 for probably four tablespoons of coleslaw!?! read more

Well for starters they could have chicken. Went in to order after receiving coupons and I was told it would be 30-45 minutes and couldn't even order food. If you're dropping coupons, you might want to have some chicken cooked, just saying. I would give it zero stars but that isn't an option. read more

I would give -5 stars if I could. They have messed up my order every time, and all I get is a chicken sandwich. That speaker is in my nightmares it's so bad. The food is usually fine if you get what you wanted, but they are so mean and so nasty there. Rude ash. Ambiance? I'd rather die than talk to the KFC employees. Rude ash read more

Don't waste your time. Tried to give them several chances and they are either out of chicken or out of something, or 20 plus minutes for food, don't waste your time. Or do, Karachi to you if you want to pick up some food to wait in drive through for 29 minutes because they seem to run out of food every time I have stopped in. But don't take my word for it stop in and make your opinion. read more

I should have known better. my son and I went through drive through and ordered a #15, spicy chicken sandwich MEAL with no pickles and a large Pepsi for him and 3 tenders for me. we were told they're out of pepsi and all they have is tea and water. I should have left then. she never gave me a total. finally got to the window and asked if she heard the no pickles on my son's sandwich. She hollered to the back "ay! don't put no pickles on that sandwich." it was over $17. handed me my card, MEDIUM water, and straw all in one hand almost dropping it all. then practically chucked the bag at me out the window. tenders were hard, rubbery and way over cooked. No fries with his meal either. I don't know who hired that pink haired, snaggle toothed, trailer park roundabout silverback boogerwolf, but she has GOT to go. read more

This place needs serious help or just be shut down! We ordered our food and the lady in there was like all over the place saying she's been there all day and I didn't want her near my son as we were eating and then after bringing us our food she still hovered around us for a minute and then went to the kitchen where she managed to drop things and everyone including her started cussing and acting a fool. The food was meh the store was a mess tables were nasty, high chair was absolutely disgusting and the food was cold not even like warm. Then their ice machine is broken and their drinks are warm I didn't want a warm drink... absolutely pitiful for KFC DO BETTER! read more

These m*rons still can't figure out how to fill an order. I placed an order tonight through DoorDash that included a buy 1, get 1free. Not surprisingly, they didn't include the second order, even though I paid for it. I don't know who works this location and what manager would stand up and say that they were responsible for the poor performance of their employees, but I wouldn't be surprised if all their IQ's are in the 50's. Get a regional manager in there or something! read more

Yeah absolutely horrible. Waited 30min. For my thighs and drumsticks. I had to remind them of my order 3 times. Also, the place was not busy at all so that wasn't a factor. Bunch of people standing around when my food was finally ready. Given the manager refunded my money, but still a horrible experience. read more

The lady who took my order was very nice, I was hesitant to come here at first because of all the poor reviews, but I decided to give it a try anyway, and I was beyond satisfied with my experience! I got a three-piece chicken tender, and two sides of mashed potatoes... the meat was bursting with juices and had an amazing crunch, and mashed potatoes were piping hot! read more

The absolute worst KFC I've ever been to. Out of cole slaw and dark meat chicken! All at 5 pm ! Also the drive thru lady was not pleasant at all. Finally there were only two cars ahead of me in the drive thru, no one in the lobby! read more

Love this KFC...everything was perfect. The service was extra awesome...we got some delicious right out of the oven biscuits

I went to KFC yesterday at about 4:30, The 8 piece dinner with chicken strips is 40.00 with tax43.76. I got 2 breast 1 thigh, 2 legs and 2 wings broken in half. 4 biscuits slaw, potatoes and macaroni the potatoes had been dumped in a bowl from the small orders. for 44 dollars I believe there should be 8 pieces. KFC needs to either get this place in shape or close it. I have not had but 1 correct order in 6. But this one is my last. KFC. quit stealing from people. read more

I will not eat at this restaurant past noon. Their original recipe chicken is way over cooked & so dark, appearing it has been fried twice. I have called management, questioned employees, asking why their original recipe looks very dark & dry?? Sorry, that's not what KFC Chicken looks or tastes like. With the Sanders dinner house in town, why is no attention being given to this poor excuse of a KFC? Call management & they do not return any calls or make things right. So very very disappointed with this place!!! If it's summer.... watch out for the flies all over the food bar! No joke!!! Past times, my order is never correct in the drive thru. Employees nor management cares. I only gave 1 star because I couldn't give "zero stars". read more

First of all let me say, I love KFC but I don't eat it often and save it for a treat! So what went wrong? Several months ago I saved up my calories all day long in anticipation of eating KFC. My husband was out of town on a business trip and I made plans to eat the KFC buffet. I arrived at the restaurant to find signs that the dine-in was closed but the drive-thru was open. O.K. I'm going to settle for two thighs and a biscuit to take home. NO, I'm not going to get that even as the drive-thru was closed due to painters trucks in the way. Fast forward to last week. I had worked hard all day long and was running late on dinner plans. My husband and I were in the car together and he suggested KFC to bring home for dinner. Now that happens about once every two years so I jumped at the suggestion. We arrived at KFC, entered the inside and joined the long line. Problem one - one cashier who didn't have a clue what she was doing. Problem two -As the line inched forward someone from the back came out and announced they were all out of Crispy Chicken breasts so anyone ordering Extra Crispy would have to agree to legs and thighs. That wouldn't have been a problem for me but my husband only eats breasts. So we decided to order original. The line was still moving extremely slow but we finally reached the front. We ordered our chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and a side of coleslaw to go. Problem three - We sat at a table and waited and waited. We observed the buffet problem with no chicken being put out and none to be had by diners. We witnessed PHYSICAL FIGHTING and arguing in the back between employees. We witnessed the Police arrive to handle the employee scuffle. Finally our food was ready. We picked it up and left for home. Problem four - Once home we found that our coleslaw side was only 1/2 of a small container. Then came the chicken, two breasts, one thigh. one leg, three wings. WHAT - we were short one piece and had a wing substituted for another. PROBLEM FIVE - I want my other thigh and leg. This location may have been updated and redecorated both inside and out but the service stinks! We won't be back for several years so get your personnel problems fixed and serve what the customer is paying for. read more

So mad I downloaded yelp just to leave a review. First we couldn't hear/understand what she was saying then they were out of literally everything except for wings and drinks read more

Small portions. The chicken is getting smaller by the week. They don't offer Crispy when you order a meal even though it is available. The "original recipe" is no where close to the original. The price doesn't warrant the poor quality and small portions read more

Employees there are fucking rude. I order through the drive through and when I get to the window they overcharge me for my order. I ask them why the price was different and they bullshit some excuse saying "I ordered a different one". No, I didn't ma'am I ordered the pot pie meal with the side and a drink. It was 7.49. So why are you charging me 8.29? "That's the price ma'am we can't change it" blah blah. I say fine, drive back through and take a picture of the menu board, which the giant poster advertising what I ordered. When I get to the window another chick doesn't fuss about, but definitely isn't pleasant to deal with. She gives me the difference back, and as I drive off I hear her shit talking about me to the chick next to her read more

Haven't had KFC in years and this is an interesting place. I have never seen a KFC with a buffet before. I guess during certain times you can get some kind of all you can eat buffet? My husband and I ordered some take out. There was a small line that evening, but virtually no wait. Our order came out quick and they gave us extra sauce free of charge... bonus! When we got home, our order was correct and the food was tasty. Had an issue on our 2nd visit a few months later. Placed an order and the person at the counter misunderstood and gave us a meal package rather than just a side. Their debit/credit machine was down so we paid in cash and didn't realize we'd been charged the wrong amount. Thankfully we at least got what we paid for even if it wasn't what we ordered... read more

Hi I'm writing this review on behalf of all the homeless people in Shelbyville I myself not homeless but I have been here in in this town exactly and when I was kfc used to help the homeless by giving them each a two-piece meal every day however the last time I went up there I was told they don't do that anymore by someone who cleans the parking lot because the people that work there wouldn't even come to the register they were out back smoking and too busy to help me however they weren't too they were not too busy to have their friends in the back who didn't even work there the person they sent up front with a handicap man who cleans the parking lot on behalf of everybody I say I'm sorry for the bad business at this restaurant I will never go back even though now I can financially afford it read more

would give zero stars if i could. always out of EVERYTHING, and all the employees are rude and impatient.

The first time I came here I ordered a meal for my family. Personally I got a Georgia Gold chicken little to go cup. I got home and it was a chicken strip go cup and I had no sauce to dip it in. So I called and they put me in a replacement book. I come today and apparently they don't sell the GG Chicken Little Go Cup anymore and when I told them that I was just here a few weeks ago and ordered it and was on the replacement books, the lady got smart with me and told me how I need to come to the window and not order at the Drive-thru and everything I did wrong. Then they tell me at the window that I can't have the sauce in my Chicken but can get it on the side. Come on now. The whole time I got nothing but attitude and no manners were ideas at all! So much for customer services read more

Horrible. Ordered a quick crispy chicken sandwich and it was over cooked, dry and cold. Wont return to this location.

This is probably the worst fast food restaurant in Shelbyville Kentucky ! The staff are very rude, in a hurry and doesn't care about needs or to make sure the order is right. Complaining to the manager doesn't help as she as well is rude and laughs everything off. The store is dirty , buffet items are cold and not attended too. Soda machines are out of carbonation every time I go. Sauces and silverware are never stocked and bathrooms are always disgusting. It's sad to say this is the only kfc around definitely needs to have ALL NEW WORKERS! Would not recommend. read more

This store needs new management ! I stopped by today around 4pm and tried the buffet, I won't make that mistake again. There were two other customers in the dining room when I arrived so they were not over worked. The buffet had not been attended in some time, it was terrible at best. The sorry thing is nobody seemed to care about the lack of or the condition of the food. I should have requested my money back and that's on me. read more

We had a wonderful experience at this KFC location. We have gone a few times for lunch and one time stuck out as, Brant was working the register and also serving us at our table. Nothing wrong with the takeout. I just don't like the fried chicken. It always makes my stomach hurt.

I went through the drive through on a Sunday, so I'm not upset about waiting in line for over 20 minutes. However, after paying $16 for my meal and making the 15 minute drive back home to find out that the extra crispy fried chicken that I ordered looks and taste like it's been sitting in water for two days then reheated in a microwave before making it to my table, you can imagine my disappointment. The skin was so slimy, and the chicken was over cooked and dry. It was NOTHING like what is advertised. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. read more
