My daughter and I had a good visit to the Springhurst location. They were extremely busy as it was lunchtime. Every area was popping at the seams. Yet, in true, CFA fashion, they handled it well! Our food was made quickly and accurately. We enjoyed eating on the patio. Although it was in the midst of the drive thru and parking lot, it felt like its own oasis. It was super clean as well! I went to Chick-fil-A for lunch with my Aunt Peggy as we were running errands together. I live in Florida, and was visiting. We were excited to go to CFA because we both appreciated the quality of the food and didn't mind the higher than average fast food prices because of that. When we went inside, I saw what I expected to see: the same colors I expected, the counters, the registers, the young people tending the registers.... What really surprised me was that there was no play area! my eyes literally searched for it all around the building. The restaurant was even in a mall type area with many many stores, though each had an outside entrance. I did see children in the restaurant, so I didn't think it was because of the population of the area and I knew there were many many schools around.... Oh well I never did figure out why they didn't have a play area so here's my warning: if you are a parent and you have small children and are expecting a play area in a Chick-fil-A, there are Chick-fil-A's that do not have play areas! Perhaps I just don't visit Chick-fil-A often enough to know if this is common. BTW, the service and the food were brilliant. read more

Chick-fil-a is one of the few fast food restaurants I go to. This morning I stop there before heading to work. I think this was the first time I did not enjoy my experience or the food. I went through drive thru. The person helping me on the speaker clearly could not understand me. First he got my name wrong then he misunderstood my order, a chicken breakfast sandwich, for a parfait. Not sure how. Those don't even sound similar. He did however repeat my name and order so I could correct him a few times. Once I had my sandwich, it really did not taste good. I don't know if the time on it had expired as it wasn't very fresh. The solid standby - combo #1 chicken sandwich with waffle fries and drink. It is consistently cooked and a large piece of chicken. Today I added on a peach shake, which was delicious. I was in a bad mood and it made me feel better to pump peachy sugar into my system. The dining room is not open today. Orders are taken by staff in the drive thru using two lanes. Be prepared with your order because you won't make it to a menu board before ordering and paying. Credit card payments are accepted and use a machine that allows you to run the card. The young kids are masked up and in uniform, and thankfully they've installed several fans above them. Before you make it to the window another employee confirms your order and that you've made payment. This must help them ensure the bags coming out of the window are in the correct order. Bags are passed out of the window from a tray so that you can grab your bag and go. Most of the parking lot is marked off for curbside pick up so we drove to a different parking lot to find shade and eat in our car. read more

This is my go-to Chick-fil-A if I'm ever with my parents. I used to go to the one on Shelbyville before work, but either one is great! I came in around 9:45 on a Monday morning and there wasn't a line for drive thru so I had no problem walking across the lot to get to the door. I found parking easily too! Sometimes it can get tight when they're busy on weekends. No line inside, so I went straight to the counter and ordered the 4 chicken minis and a side of hash browns. The guy was rather smiley at the counter. One of the girls was just putting out the fresh flowers on the table. She was also in a great mood! Food perhaps took a minute of two to come out. I didn't wait long. There were a few people dining in. Elderly people, a mom with her young daughter, people eating alone, construction workers, and young kids who must've been college-aged (JCPS is already in session, so I'm assuming they weren't cutting class). The place was clean. I've never been there early for breakfast, but I was surprised to see quite a good number of people eating in there. It was pretty quiet in there. Quiet enough for me to hear the instrumental piano version of Nothing But the Blood that they were playing in the background ! My favorite hymn. I'm assuming the franchise provides music? I've heard instrumental versions of hymns at a Chick-fil-A located somewhere in between San Francisco and Napa when I was in California years ago. Everything tasted good! The hash browns are crunchy! My chicken minis were free through the app and are always delicious! I've had the burrito before and the biscuit which are all very good. Their breakfast is always a good choice. Make sure to download the app. They have rewards on there now. Here's a tip: the manager of each location gives you free coupons on the app. I learned this in Columbus as i used to visit more than one Chick-fil-A. They move people through the drive through very quickly in a nice way. It really seems like the people working here enjoy working here, enjoy the people they work with, and enjoy their customers. i genuinely believe this location homophobically targets its customers and makes their orders wrong. on purpose. Every time i go it's me and 1 straight (or just not openly queer) friend. Their service is fast and the worker makes good customer connection, their order is always correct. Mine, however, is almost always wrong in multiple ways and takes a lot of extra time to come out. I will admit, a lot of the workers went to high school with me and bullied me there so it isn't surprising but this is a RESTAURANT... not high school. I know there was a report that their drive thru is slow but that is just not the case. Even at their peak they are friendly and make the wait as best they can inside and out. Once again another incredible experience at a Chick-fil-A. This time we decided to sit at a table (before ordering) and starting a mobile order. The store was incredibly busy so I wasn't sure what to expect but wow was I floored at how fast they served us. Upon placing the order on the app to getting it delivered to our table, it must've been only 5 or so minutes maybe less and once again they were very very busy. I don't have to comment on the food, you all know just how on point it is but do yourselves a favor and next time you guys visit a Chick-fil-A try their mobile ordering feature. You sit at a table that says mobile ordering, you order, then sit the phone on the circle table number (I'm assuming it has an nfc chip or something) and boom you are set. Ever since this location has been re-opened all I encounter are issues. The employees are inattentive, the bathrooms are dirty, and the wait times are extremely long. The employees place orders on a shelf and trust anyone to take them. My order was stolen so my wait time was more than 30 minutes for my food. The last time I was there, I waited 30 minutes for curbside but they employees left my order on a shelf and forgot about it, then proceeded to serve me food that was not at all fresh. They did not offer any kind of solution and I did not get compensated when filing a complaint in the app. I am trying to give this location a chance because it has always been my favorite but these issues keep happening every time I visit the restaurant! A remodel was not at all worth it if we have to sacrifice good service.. I am so so personally disappointed by this as I live 30 minutes away and it's hard for me to make it out to get Chick-fil-A. I guess I will have to go the extra mile to get to Middletown. We frequent this location at least once a month. It's near my sons doctors office so this is always a treat for him before school or an afternoon snack. I most recently ordered via the app and was super excited with this service. I was able to submit our order via the app, pay and walk in and pick up my order. This is great for busy moms like me. I wouldn't have had time to stand in line, or sit in drive thru line when I only had 10 minutes to get to my sons doctors appointment. I was in and out in less than a minute.
