My grandkids love Jaggers. And with all the positive vibes, I was expecting better. Service was fine. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. My wife,ever diligent, ordered grilled chicken strips and a side salad. I believe her order came with 3 "strips" and some "nuggets", probably from broken strips. They were dry and flavorless. Inedible without sauce which wasn't offered. We had to go to the counter for sauce as well as salt & pepper. Her side salad, was a small plate with a few lettuce leaves, cut tomatoes, hard boiled egg and lots of croutons for filler. Me? I chose the Swiss mushroom burger. Kudos here. Hot, juicy, and tasty. The "ding"? When food is freshly cooked, there's simply no excuse for lukewarm fries served with a hot burger. The taco salad, ordered by my son in law, was, as he put it, "off". Add on : one of the things I enjoy about a well made burger is the freshness of the ingredients, and how they simply add to the deliciousness of the moment from the first bite to the last. Ripe beef steak tomatoes sliced thick enough and not mushy. Thinly sliced onions that provide the right amount of bite and crunch. Iceberg lettuce that is firm and not wilted from the heat of the cooked patties. And a well made bun that provides the vehicle to bring that Sammy home. Here a toasted bun can be a good solution to holding everything in place until that last bite. read more

Their sign says clucking delicious... It's actually clucking disappointing. Both my husband's & my chicken sandwiches lacked flavor. My spicy chicken sandwich appeared to be only lightly dusted with spice in the center, contrary to their claim of it being fully breaded in spices. It mostly tasted like the oil it was fried in. My husband's grilled chicken sandwich was bland, seasoned only with a hint of bacon. The salad seemed like a pre-made mix from a bag & tasted as much. On a positive note, the cashier was nice & cheerful, but the floors could have used a sweep, especially since it was only noon. read more

Very nice atmosphere upon entering. I ordered the Chicken salad salad with ranch dressing. The size of the salad was generous with carrots, eggs, tomatoes, croutons, and cut up fried chicken. It's a burger and chicken sandwich joint, a sort of fast food place only with a nicer interior and table service after you order upfront. I was with a group of eight, which is always a good test to see how a place performs. They did great. First of all, the staff was lively and engaging. They made an effort to chat with us and ensure that everyone was happy and well taken care of - which is surprising for a burger joint. And the staff were adults, not disinterested teenagers. The menu is unique; while they do have basic burgers, chicken, salads, and sides, everything has a little twist. Was it the world's best burger? No, but it was still a great burger. For example, I had the green chili burger, which was exactly what I was hoping for - an Ortega or Anaheim chili, not spicy but sweet, and with a bright southwestern grilled or roasted flavor. Some of us had fries, which were okay, and nothing to get too excited about. But some of us had tater tots that were exceptional - perfectly seasoned and crispy on the outside, but not too oily or greasy, and tender on the inside. I think these were the best tater tots I've ever had. Last, the soda station, I'm picky about soda being properly mixed, not falt, not too much or too little syrup, a soda-pop should be well carbonated. Often restaurants ignore this while others take great pride in getting it right every time. They got it right. Further, they had the nugget ice that takes on the flavor of the drink and everyone likes to eat. My only complaint was the thin and small styrofoam cups. They were undersized for a burger or fast food place. I asked for a large but mine was more like a small in other places. That's fine if you are eating in and can get refills as often as you like but overpriced if you're getting the drink to go. The thin foam felt squishy, like it was going to collapse at any moment, plus, it was styrofoam, and most places have figured out to stop using that. The food is consistent among the Jaggers locations but this spot is definitely smaller. When we walked in all tables were filled, including the patio and we almost left. Thankfully one opened quickly and we placed our order at the counter. The team gives you a number and walks out the order. Burgers are good. The kids meal is my favorite size. One party is enough. I also love the side salad. Fries are a bit thin and salty. Next time I'll ask for tots or fruit. Even better, nugget ice at the Coke machine! The store could be cleaner. Due to the crowd the space was dirtier than I'd like. Even when it thinned out I didn't notice anyone taking care of the tables. Bathrooms were a mess too. read more

My boyfriend and I love Jaggers. We order about once a week. We had an issue with third party delivery through DoorDash after ordering through the jaggers app. The manager Brandon was amazing. He was able to track our driver who had been sitting in the parking lot across the street for over an hour. He hooked us up remaking our meal hot and fresh, also included a free desert. The burger was excellent, and they all come with double patties. The tater tots were crispy and seasoned. My bf and I went here for the first time and omg, definitely coming back!! Brandon the manager was super informative, incredibly friendly, and funny. I got the limited time Korean hot chicken sandwich and my bf got just a double cheeseburger. The Korean chicken sandwich was sooo good and flavorful, not very spicy (thank god). I finally made it to Jaggers to eat! I only got myself a kids meal that cost $5.99 but even at that, it was still a very small meal as the pic illustrates. I thought it would be more plentiful at that. It also came with a small soft drink. price. It was still good though. I wish they would add a burger with blue cheese crumbles, bacon, and A1 sauce. We didn't and made our order. Just a few minutes later, our food came out to our table, and wow, impressive! Honestly didn't expect this tasty of a burger from this place, but it was actually quite good! I had the cheddar barbecue burger, and fries. Hit or miss. The burgers used to look just like the menu pictures with a fresh fluffy bun and the meat hanging out. The chicken was always hot and crispy and not overcooked. But the last couple of visits have been disappointing. The burgers were flat and pattys seem to have gotten smaller. The chicken tenders were soft or soggy with the breading fallen off. Hopefully they find a manager that can keep the quality consistent and get back on track soon because it was really good for the first couple of years after opening. read more

Since the COVID most fast-food restaurants are sad places to visit. Most like Wendy's & Burger King are extremely dirty and the help reacts like they are disappointed that you are even there. Most fast-food restaurants are dirty which appears to send a message to customers that they don't need a throw anything in the trash, but just leave your trash on the table or on the floor. The Louisville Jagger restaurants have been very impressive. The quality of the food is outstanding, and the businesses are extremely clean. The employees are trained very well and appear to be happy working for the organization. I believe the Texas Roadhouse future is very bright, so the employees feel they have a future ahead with plenty of career opportunities. Today a young child dropped their drink after just filling it at the drink station. The staff never skipped a beat, but one employee brought a mop to absorb the spill and the manager set up heled and set up a couple of wet floor cones to warn customers until the floor would be safe. The employee maintained a positive attitude rather than showing any concern about working with the manager to correct the problem. This business appears to be very well managed. read more
