I will say that their chicken is cooked and seasoned well but...I think it's over priced for what your receive. 3 tenders. Tiny slaw and a soda was $6+. Service was great and quick with a smile plus a laugh. I'm just not that big of a "basic" fan.

Chicken was good, fries were mid. Seasoning was too much, gave me heartburn. Zaxbys sauce just tasted like nothing.

So the ambiance, depending on where you are seated is very good or fantastic. The service is mostly abysmal. It's been abysmal for years. It's rather the running joke among friends whom have the money but are often amazed how bad the service is. I really don't think the ownership accepts how bad the service sucks...badly. C'est le guerre. Two out of three ain't bad. The prices are en pointe! If they had a manager with a brain it could be so much more. The restaurant group owns three other restaurants. Why they have kept the SUCKY mgt here is beyond my understands. I've never owned a restaurant but I have owned companies. No idea why they continue with very poor mgt. I feel like the manager must have nude pictures of someone!! Go here! Food exceptional. Just because mgt are possibly accepting bribes...or something weird is occurring...Enjoy what you can!!! You won't be disappointed...except the service!!

LeeAnn was hands down one of the funniest servers I've ever had. She kept us laughing the whole time and made the experience even better. We definitely found the right place. The patio area with the Koi pond and waterfall was perfect. My wife and I had the Fried Green Tomatoes and Selena's Crab Caps. Their menu looks amazing as did the specials of the day. We didn't have time to eat a full meal, but did enjoy our time outside. Our server was great and one of the owners did come by to check on us also. I would definitely come back to try more of their food.

They could elevate the coffee service by putting a small container of actual cream on the table instead of the tiny plastic coffee containers that they use at McDonalds. Beignets - do NOT get. These are not traditional beignets. These are heavy, flat, limp square-shaped dough of unknown origin. They stick to the roof of your mouth - literally. Not ideal. We are from South Louisiana. Honestly, they would be better served using a mix from Cafe du Monde in New Orleans or Coffee Call in Baton Rouge. The mixes also are not as good as the places make them in Louisiana, but they would be a far better cry than what is being served. The grits and eggs are devoid of flavor. The eggs were fluffy though. The waffle...let's just say they'd be better off using a good commercial mix as well. Hampton Inn's are better for expectation purposes. The biscuits and gravy were good. The hash is basically cheesy potatoes and once you get beyond the misnomer of hash, they're really good. Maybe we ordered poorly, but I don't think that's the case.

Hot chicken, great sides, and COKE that actually tastes like Coke!…read more First off, the service was super quick, which is always a win when you're hungry! I got the Southern Style Chicken Sammie with pickles and added slaw, along with a side of mac & cheese. Let me just say... OH MY GOODNESS, that mac & cheese is SO GOOD! The chicken sammie was heavy -- like, this thing was no lightweight! The pickles gave it a nice tang, and the slaw was more of a classic diner-style slaw. It added the perfect cool, creamy layer to the sandwich and really pulled everything together. Hubby went for the Ghost Pepper boneless wings and fries at Heat Level 6 out of 7, so he definitely wasn't messing around! He really liked the slow-building burn of the heat. But by the end of the meal? His eyes were watering and his nose was running! Apparently, Level 6 is no joke! The fries were thin, crispy, and had a really nice seasoning on them. And I have to give a special mention to the Cokes. They have that crisp, ice-cold, carbonated taste that Coke is supposed to have. You know exactly what I mean if you've ever had a Coke that just hits different. These were GOOD. Overall, a really good meal -- great chicken, an amazing mac & cheese, tasty sides, quick service, and a Coke that deserves its own shout-out. We'll definitely be back!

They have many sides including thin fries, Parmesan garlic fries, Creamy Mac & Cheese, and Sweet Vinegar Slaw. Their chicken is available in wings, drum sticks, Sammie's, you can add chicken (fried or grilled chicken ) to the Kale Crunch Salad. They also have Chicken and Waffles which my husband and I ordered. That is our favorite entree to eat at Joella's Hot Chicken. Marv and Sawyer took the orders, and Dany delivered the food to the tables. They did a good job bringing the utensils, the sauces and clearing the tables. Rachel is their District Manager and lives in Indianapolis. She is a big supporter of Swan Pointe. We had a nice time sitting with some of our newer residents and getting to know them.

We both had the BREAKFAST BURRITO-BACON and it just hit the spot. Our server was fairly new, but she was so excellent. She was so sweet and checked on us so many times. As we were getting up from our chairs, Whitney came by to say "Hi". She told Meghan that we had been her customers several times & that we had been so nice. She would loves us. That meant alot to us. However, I have already returned once after my initial visit and am sure that my husband and I will be frequent flyers. The ambiance is sports bar with (unless I miscounted) 33 large TVs, the bar, garage doors that open to the outside patio where 4-legged friends are welcome, friendly and efficient service, and best of all, they support the Kentucky Humane Society. Oh, and that tagline though- "Sit. Stay. Eat." Despite the sports bar ambiance, it is definitely child/family friendly. On both my visits (lunch time) there were many families enjoying their lunch. The menu is expansive with the burgers and hot dogs being the main call, but also includes, wings, sandwiches, pizza, and so much more. I opted for the 'breakfast burger' which included the burger, cheese, onions, bacon, and a fried egg. Honestly, one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. I substituted green beans for the included fries, which I often do when eating out. Typically, I end up with a small bowl of what is akin to baby-food vegetables! Not the case here. The green beans were whole and perfectly cooked with a mild crunch and had a delicious seasoning. Talk about being pleasantly surprised. Folks, this is not your 'typical' bar food! This stray dog will definitely return, and I may get a microchip that reads "return to Double Dogs if found."

Other diners chose the Pina colada and also a Friday cocktail special of Holy Water, which included blue curaçao. Feedback was mixed. We started with 1/2 pound of hot and spicy peel and eat shrimp and a dozen oysters. Great preparation and taste. It was apparently all so good and we had such a great time that we forgot to take photos of the food. We shared steamer bowls and a captain's platter. This allowed for a variety of crab legs, steamed oysters, sausages, corn, red potatoes, garlic Parmesan bread, shrimp, grouper, onion rings, clam strips, along with butter, tartar sauce, and cocktail sauce. We had arrived famished and we all left satiated and carrying out To Go boxes. Our server was fantastic, helping us relocate inside when the storm popped up, and very attentive through our entire visit. Looking forward to future visits and more great seafood.
