I stopped by Culver's for a quick lunch, but this visit was slower than expected. It took about 30 minutes from ordering to receiving my food. I ordered a cheeseburger kids' meal--great deal, plenty of food--but when I swapped the drink for a lemon cooler, my bill went up $3. The real disappointment was that the cooler was already pretty melted, like it had been sitting on the counter from the moment I finished ordering. Culver's is one of the best fast food places that are out there. I like their saying "what can I make fresh for you today" when you go to order. I ordered a Culver's deluxe, and it tasted very fresh. The parties were well seasons and not too greasy. Their fries are easily the best around here. They aren't soggy like all the other fast food restaurants around here, and they actually taste like real potatoes, and have the perfect amount of salt. This is a better than average fast food place and there is more to it than the famous butter burgers and custard. The grilled chicken sandwich is really good complete with a tasty bun. The customer service is also quite good and efficient. I also enjoy their coffee, which is a special blend. I don't care for the fries, but my boyfriend and I periodically go here and rarely are disappointed. Meijer is nearby and this is a good place to catch a bite if shopping there. read more

This Culvers has been getting worse every time we go which is three to four times a month. Today was the final straw for me . From the time I ordered it was twenty five minutes usually this wouldn't bother me because the food is prepared when you order. I got a single and double butter burger and they weren't fit to eat. We had two Butterburgers today. They were great. Buns are a new type i think, really good, plus they were not just out of the cooler. The patties were cooked perfectly, tasted wonderful. The fries were hot and crispy with a soft center. Very good. The flavor of the day was outstanding from the reviews of it that were given to me. I would like to know why u ask for single butter burgers and end up with doubles. Was there this evening around 5 and ordered single cheese with ff and chocolate shake. Then 2 singles with cheese and a regular tea. It was over $30 dollars. Thought it was a little high then got to car and saw I had 3 doubles. Ok. I really do not prefer fast food and I generally stay away from it unless a friend or family forces me to partake. However, I have to say that Culver's burgers, fries and cheese are a bit of an exception. I never would have tried this place had it not been at my fiancé's insistence. Their burgers are flavorful and made-to-order. We have visited dozens of times over the past couple of years and they have NEVER messed up an order. That, in itself, is quite remarkable. What I really enjoy is their fresh, frozen custards. Not only do they offer the simple custard, but you can get up to 2 added "mix-ins". Mix-ins are toppings (fruit, cookie pieces, candies, flavored syrups and nuts) that can be stirred into your custard. These custard delights are thicker and creamier than ice cream . Although I really enjoy their custards, they are really known for their Wisconsin cheese curds. When I first ordered them, I didn't know what to expect. Though I was not disappointed, The urge to get cheese curds will not lure me to Culver's like the urge to get frozen custard. I return often to get the custard. Now, my mom loves them too. read more

Culver's is one of those restaurants that's pretty consistent and reliable everywhere you go. The menu is enormous and the staff is usually friendly and helpful. On a recent Friday evening we decided to visit this location. We've been here quite a few times and the food and the service were always reliable. However, we'd never been there for a Friday dinner. WHEW...this place is a challenge on Friday. The service was great (if a bit hectic) and the food, as always, was accurate and it was definitely hot-food-hot. Culver's Fish and Chips is some of the best. No complaints there. The challenge? That Parking Lot! Holy Cow that parking lot is an unadulterated mess. Literally 8 feet after you turn off the road you're intercepting the drive-thru line and if the people in the drive-thru line are paying attention they won't block the entrance to the parking lot. And then. AND THEN you have to drive through and around the parking lot to get to the drive-thru line. The issue there is the the drive-thru line often backs up and winds around where the people park who are dining in. When the line gets that long the cars in the drive-thru are actually blocking in the cars that are parked, making it nearly impossible for people go get out. Hopefully in that case the people in the drive-thru are mindful enough to leave room for people to exit. To make The Parking Lot at Culver's fiasco worse, this parking lot has exactly ONE way in and ONE way out...and they are one and the same. One entrance to get logjammed during higher traffic times. It doesn't connect to any other business. It doesn't connect to any other road. It's like building a huge shopping mall with only one entrance. Parking Lot rant aside, we really like this location. Never had a problem with the food or the service, and it's also got some great outdoor seating and the landscaping is green and well kept. That parking lot, though.... read more

Our local culvers is amazing and let me tell you why. We dined at Culver's in Florida, through the winter, several times. Each time, one of us got their fried cod. It was very uneventful. So I return here, drove through to get the consistent pot roast dinner. And decided to try the cod dinner one more time. Oh my gosh, that fish is amazing. Huge, huge pieces of delicately fried cod. You can get a two-piece or three-piece dinner. Unless you haven't eaten in over 24 hours, stick with the two piece dinner. It was absolutely delicious. I cannot picture any place else locally, that has that style of fish and chips like fish. My husband loves his pot roast dinner as usual, the mashed potatoes are creamy and he likes the broccoli as well. They are doing dine in...The drive-through person had a mask on. I also love that you can order broccoli as a side if you want to be slightly healthier. The frozen custard is also way better than your standard ice cream. Has an excellent velvet texture. The place was packed, the drive thru was around the side of the building and it looked like it might take an hour or longer to get some food. I found a phone number on YELP to call in my order ahead, from the parking lot. I ordered $50 worth of food and within 10 minutes I was walking out the door with my order. I found the best burger ever. This place was great the food was amazing and the Kids's loved it too. Never had my kid eat a burger with cheese and pickles, and finished it all. The food is sooo good and delicious, I recommend to stop at the parking lot and enjoy a hot meal with the kids , for social distancing and if you love to get a seat inside the lobby looks so nice and welcoming, friendly staff that are really nice and helpful. When I got there to the drive through, I thought I was at BK , the waitress over the intercom was so nice and took my order in until I told her I want to redeem a coupon for 2 BK , and she was ammmmm this isn't BK, i told I was wondering when BK started with them amazing appetizers . I've returned to drive through several times since my first review and have been very pleased with service, food and cost. I have never heard of "well done" fried fish but they offer it, and there is certainly a difference. The regular fish comes in thick, juicy, hot pieces which are good; the well done pieces are much smaller and less juicy. The crust is the same on both but the size is not. This has become my "go to" for a quick burger and fries. Chicken sandwich is good, also. Service has always been pleasant, which is a big deal with me. Their fries will leave wanting an unlimited supply. But HOLD THE PHONE. We don't come here and leave with just dinner. Their bread and butter is the desserts. Get yourself a concrete mixer and add your toppings (oreo, snickers, etc). Culver's is a little bit on the pricier side of fast food, but has a good variety of options that you may not find at other similar restaurants. I recently shared an extremely frustrating experience with service. They were slightly busy so the wait in the drive through was a bit longer than I have normally experienced. When placing my order, I was sadly disappointed that they were out of the Beef Pot Roast Sandwiches for the evening. It was the main reason for choosing where to dine this evening. But since I had already waited in line to place an order, we went ahead and ordered something new. After paying they gave us a number to put on the door and asked us to pull up and they would bring us our food out (Not Uncommon) and quickly closed the window. They had forgotten to give us one of our drinks. I made multiple attempts to try and get their attention unsuccessfully before finally able to get their attention and being able to get our second drink. We pulled up, and began waiting on our order. At this point we had been in line approximately 20 minutes. As we waited several cars pulled up in spots behind us, and one after the other their orders came out and they pulled off. This continued for about 15 minutes. At this point we flagged down one of the workers who said they would check on the order. They came back out and said that our order had already been given out. So we got out and followed the worker back in to talk to a manager as we had now been here for nearly 40 minutes for "Fast Food". When talking with the manager he was quite rude. He stated that the order had already been given out and was acting like we were lying to get additional food or something. I Tried to explain to him how long we had been waiting and how frustrating the situation was. He again implied that we had already gotten the food. I pointed out that if someone had given us our food that they would have taken our number back. An additional 5 minutes had passed as we were discussing, and there had been no mention of replacing the order or anything. At this point we had enough and just asked for our money back. He huffed and began to process the refund. So after 45 minutes we left with no food, no apology, and very frustrated at being accused of lying and trying to get free food. We had eaten her before and not had this type of experience, but it definitely holds as a strong thought when it comes time to make a decision on where to eat in the future. read more

I've been coming to Culver's for quiet some time now. When I prefer a burger done right plus a sundae ... I come here. This time I got a Culver's deluxe combo and a turtle sundae( pecans, fudge and custard) 2 scoop. It is was all pretty good, but the turtle sundae was a bit on the not frozen side. I generally don't eat until later, so not a biggie for me. I will say this though, Culver's is pretty consistent in service/delivery of the food. I've seen some not so positive photos but I can say personal experience, I've not had those same mishaps when I visited. Which is kind of why I keep coming back. read more
