White Castle food is normally okay. The service is sub par. They are rarely fast. There will be times when people sit in line to get food and end up just driving away. I think the franchise has given up on this location. Tread lightly when visiting. Most times you will be waiting 10 to 30 minutes for food at this fast food stop. If you have time drive down the road to McDonald's. Save your gas and time and don't stop here. It might be because of the staffing issue. Or maybe they don't care. But save your time and maybe try another restaurant in Shelbyville. Service had been terrible every time I go. But I keep giving them a chance to see if things have changed and it just gets worse every time. Do better white castle do better. read more

Great white castles. On the slower side but your sliders will for sure be fresh. Now there are times the chicken isn't and I just don't order it for that reason but cheese sticks are great, get them loaded fries and a big red. You'll have acid reflux but it's worth it. read more

The food is hot and fresh. The service was amazing considering that everybody called in on these two employees and they still had a smile on their face atmosphere. She was in the vaccine and while she was making 50 burgers, six fries and six to go drinks and had a line down the back and was very polite to everyone. Our burgers were undercooked, bread was mushy and just gross. The one thing I enjoyed was the gooey desert pop, so that's why they get a one. I'd never been to White Castle so, now that we're around them, I figured, when in Rome... or in the case, Kentucky! This location is near 2 gas stations so it's pretty busy, and despite being very small inside (not a lot if seating), the place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the operation seemed efficient. Our order came out pretty swiftly and we were on our way... The food was decent. I was more impressed with their chicken rings than the sliders, to be honest... and the fries were decent. We visited White Castle today and ordered 26 piece chicken ring, combos, and a number one. The lady was so rude. She charged us for the two cheese cups that we ordered at the window and didn't even put them in the bag. My wife ordered ranch with her chicken rings, and the Lady also did not put them in the bag. Lobby is closed, so the drive thru should be faster. Apparently they need to hire some child labor because the idiots working here is slower than molasses. Stopped by for some burgers on our annual Tgiving trip to Kentucky. Gotta have it, gotta get some every time! Nothing like fresh White Castles, just hits the spot. Small burgers on buns with fried onions and pickles. Be sure and put the Dusseldorf mustard on the thing. And you are in heaven! Onion rings are awesome too, wonderful crispy crust. White Castles stay with you though, for at least a day. But if they didn't, the wouldn't be White Castles would they ?? :) read more
