This is probably my favorite KFC location in San Jose. The restaurant is very well kept and very clean. There is plenty of parking, clean bathrooms and staff is friendly as well. The food at this location seems to be more piping hot and fresh than the other locations nearby. My go to order is the chicken pot pie with sometimes the fries or a 2 piece original. The pot pie is hot, flaky crust and is not dry like other locations. The fried chicken is also hot and lightly crispy and not as salty as the other locations. I also ask for a side of gravy to dip the chicken in. They have a lot of specials at this location and wished there was a better way to remember or see the daily specials (which are sometimes changing). When I got home, I noticed on my receipt that I was charged extra for 2 large drinks which I did not order (they gave me the 2 medium drinks instead of large drinks which I was charged extra for). I came to try the mac n cheese bowl and also ordered the original famous bowl. I was disappointed since they definitely do not fill them up as much as they did before. This location is definitely one of the better KFC restaurants in the area. The lobby has plenty of seating and is usually fairly clean and more often than not; you will see an employee wiping down a table or booth in order to keep things sanitized. Their customer service is pretty good, they are always friendly and no matter how busy they get, they always maintain composure and keep the lines moving. My only real issue with this location is the fact that the employees don't always read the order slips correctly and there is a high possibility of you receiving incorrect items in your bags. read more

1. Service - definitely 5 stars. The lady who I believe is the manager rocks. Professional, nice and overall, a delight to chat with. Very communicative too. Our fries weren't ready and she told us that they were just waiting on the fries and my family and I get freshly cooked fries. Food was quick overall. 2. Food - it's KFC. Not some Gordon Ramsey fried chicken joint. Thankfully this KFC chicken and dishes weren't as salty as others I've been to in the past. Got the 8 piece meal, crispy chicken and it was good. 3. Cleanliness - place is clean which made it comfortable. Soda machine buttons wasn't sticky like most places, even though I was just getting water. The booths and table were clean with no bread or chicken crumbs. I've been to the KFC off of King and Tully before and would say, avoid that place. I'd take the extra time to come here versus that area and place. The main reason is due to all of the above but the service is what other KFC's and fast food joints should set their bar too. read more

Haven't been to this KFC in a while and today's experience reminded me why. There was no line in the store and I still have to wait 20 minutes to pick up food. There were 5 people working in the back and all seems to be standing around. Fountain drink machine had no ice and no one bothered to put up a sign. Don't get me started on the size of their chicken. Not his fault, but the other 3 ladies (managers and other workers?) were just going about doing whatever they were doing.
