IMHO This time I asked for extra gravy to "smother" my country fried steak meal! They happily obliged and it made every difference in my enjoyment of the meal! This is a great deal for a Wednesday lunch, only $4.99!!! They also offer a Monday chicken pot pie meal for only $5.99. I saw a window sign advertising their Zinger chicken sandwich, which costs $5.99 for the sandwich alone, but you can make it a combo meal for $11.59 and includes a side and medium drink. I'm sure this will be a weekly Wednesday stop for me! read more

KFC on Aborn Rd in San Jose is a solid, reliable spot for a quick bite. They remodeled this location several years ago, and it is now pretty nice, spacious, and bright inside. Our order was an8 piece bucket and 2 sides. Great value at $25 nowadays, and the food seems to be made fresh. I always get extra crispy because the regular recipe is too greasy and soggy for me. At the end of the day, it's KFC, and you know what you're getting. Service is good and the staff is efficient. If you are craving fast food fried chicken in the area, this well-maintained location is a great option to hit up. read more

They try to steal your money. I went in and bought some food and handed the guy a $20 bill and I was supposed to get $13 and some change back. He kept distracting me by telling me to buy some cookies and cakes. Then he handed me three dollars and some change back. I said hey I gave you a $20 bill. Then he said oh yeah, ok. He opened up the register and handed me a $10 bill. Then he didn't give me a receipt. I was wondering why so I asked him for a receipt. Now this is a Hispanic guy who helped me, but the receipt says JUANG was the cashier. So I don't know if they are using someone else's log in ID or perhaps they're not supposed to be legally working there. I told my mom what happened to me and she said something weird happened to her too. She said that she went and bought a meal for herself and she put her debit card in there and when she got home, she looked at her receipt, she was charged $26. So count your change, check your receipts and pay attention when you go here, because they're stealing from their customers. Probably won't go back here again. There seems to be something weird going on with several KFC's because every time I go to the KFC on Blossom Hill my credit card information gets stolen. read more

4.5 stars for takeout to be exact! KFC gave us exactly what we needed for a quick family fried chicken fix. Food (4 stars) + Crispy chicken is usually the winner, but today, the Original Recipe made a comeback--juicy and flavorful. I feel that over the years the chicken has gotten saltier but it could also be my pallet. + 10-piece bucket for $13.99 with the coupon was a great deal--thighs and drums only, but hey, those are our favorites. Service/Ambiance (5 stars) + In and out (a little nod to my burger) in under 2 minutes--no wait and order taken by an actual person. + Clean location, no crowds, and the chicken was ready before I even finished taking my Yelp photos. For a fast-food fried chicken night, this hit the spot! I also saw some deals that might be worth a trip for you. read more

This location has gotten a lot better than previous times. It's been at least a year since I last visited but there was a marked change especially friendly front staff, better tasting chicken that is bigger, hot, and more juicy than before. I'm thinking that there is new management who bought about these changes. Kudos to the staff! read more

Growing up, my family would splurge to treat us to KFC. I mean it beats wonder bread with cold cuts, right? My brother and parents preferred the original recipe. *KFC's Original Recipe, 11 herbs and spices which is pressure-fried and has a different blend of spices and a more tender texture. I liked the Extra Crispy Chicken that features a crispy, flaky, and crunchy outer layer achieved through a double breading and open frying process. Regardless both were good and we could always change it up as we had it a lot. *Secret Recipe Fries: seasoned fries with a secret blend of herbs and spices. *2 Piece Deal: includes thigh and drumstick, with a side of mashed potatoes, gravy, with a buttery biscuit. read more

This is probably my favorite KFC location in San Jose. The restaurant is very well kept and very clean. There is plenty of parking, clean bathrooms and staff is friendly as well. The food at this location seems to be more piping hot and fresh than the other locations nearby. My go to order is the chicken pot pie with sometimes the fries or a 2 piece original. The pot pie is hot, flaky crust and is not dry like other locations. The fried chicken is also hot and lightly crispy and not as salty as the other locations. I also ask for a side of gravy to dip the chicken in. They have a lot of specials at this location and wished there was a better way to remember or see the daily specials (which are sometimes changing). I am also glad they brought back the potato wedges for a limited time. Those were my favorite back in the day. read more

The employees are rude and unprofessional. They don't like to work and are extremely lazy. I purchased the $5 online promotion, and my son accidentally selected original instead of crispy. The chicken is tough, dried out, over cook! Been like this for the past two weeks or longer!

It's KFC, but I'm giving it higher remarks for cleanliness, efficiency and how fast it is. The food is the food (its fried chicken and fast food) but the staff that I have ordered with on the last few occasions have been really friendly and patient and made sure everything was in there before I left. The manager I think it is Bryan, is very friendly and provides great customer service everytime read more

Today, I ordered 2 classic chicken sandwich combos that is supposed to come with a side and medium drink. When I got home, I noticed on my receipt that I was charged extra for 2 large drinks which I did not order (they gave me the 2 medium drinks instead of large drinks which I was charged extra for). Even though I was charged just $1 extra, it's the principle. Also, they gave me 1 spicy chicken sandwiches, but I ordered 2 classic chicken sandwiches. This is not acceptable/cool :( read more

They have a $5 bargain meal that has 2 drumsticks & 1 side of mashed potatoes. The chicken was sub par. Tasted like it was quickly grabbed from the freezer & fried up for me. I usually come to this location & never had a problem. Maybe it was a fliuke..I'll try them again. read more

Haven't been to KFC for years. With a coupon mailed to home. I might as well use it since we wanted to take a break from home cooking. $24 for the 12 piece bucket meal that comes with 3 sides and 6 biscuits. Not too shabby. When I went in, I was shocked that how clean it was and nice the interior was. Either I'd never paid attention several years back or I just simply had no recollections due to staying at home for too long! Anyways. Walked in, present the coupon and paid, waited for several minutes, came out with hot chicks! The plexiglass between the cashier and me made me feel safe! Nicely done, KFC read more

Why does this KFC smell like rancid oil? I was enjoying my 1/2 off Spicy chicken sandwich at home when I noticed the same rancid oil taste in my mouth. Ew. Food was ready on time. Service was great that earned the 1 star read more

- super fast service - dry chicken - forgot to include ordered sauce I came in on a Tuesday evening around 5PM. I asked the cashier if he recommended one of the seasonal chicken sandwiches, he said he didn't know cause he never tried it, at least he was being honest. I ordered a 3 piece chicken strips, with fries, large Mac and cheese, Buffalo sauce, and 2 biscuits. The food came out in literally one minute, I think they were prepping my meal as I was ordering it, so that's some fast service. I was in the middle of pouring my drink and it was already out. The chicken was dry, would have been better if I dipped it into Buffalo sauce but they forgot to give me the sauce. They were stingy with the fries as there were barely any in it. The biscuits were also dry. Only giving this place 3 stars because of the super fast service that I've never experienced before. read more

Chicken pot pies were great! The tenders were way too salty and not crispy? The service is great and a very clean facility. They no longer have real chicken wings very disappointed. KFC recipe has changed dramatically we will not be ordering KFC. Too much Salt sodium. read more

I came to try the mac n cheese bowl and also ordered the original famous bowl. I was disappointed since they definitely do not fill them up as much as they did before. This is the worst. I will no longer go to this place as there are now other options. I will no longer buy overpriced chicken in a place that makes you wait 40 minutes for it with no regard to the customer. I am really surprised this place is still in business. Good luck. To the managers and owners. It's not even busy read more

This location is definitely one of the better KFC restaurants in the area. The lobby has plenty of seating and is usually fairly clean and more often than not; you will see an employee wiping down a table or booth in order to keep things sanitized. Their customer service is pretty good, they are always friendly and no matter how busy they get, they always maintain composure and keep the lines moving. My only real issue with this location is the fact that the employees don't always read the order slips correctly and there is a high possibility of you receiving incorrect items in your bags. read more

I haven't been back to KFC in a couple of years, and I was not let down. Their chicken is honestly pretty good and a lot cheaper than Popeyes. I did the 2 for $6 deal where you can choose between the crispy colonel sandwich, pot pie, famous bowl, and 3pc. tenders. Crispy Colonel Sandwich: 4/5 The coating can get a little bit too crunchy at certain parts (I think they might've over-fried it), but overall it's still a pretty decent chicken sandwich. It comes with some sauce and pickles. Pot pie: 4/5 Mmm I love pot pie! The crust is so good, especially when you break it into large chunks and have it with the insides! Coleslaw: 5/5 I LOVE COLESLAW! But some places don't know how to make it right. KFC is NOT one of those places! Their coleslaw is on point! If you do their online survey with the code from your receipt, you can get a free crispy colonel sandwich and just pay for a drink! read more

1. Service - definitely 5 stars. The lady who I believe is the manager rocks. Professional, nice and overall, a delight to chat with. Very communicative too. Our fries weren't ready and she told us that they were just waiting on the fries and my family and I get freshly cooked fries. Food was quick overall. 2. Food - it's KFC. Not some Gordon Ramsey fried chicken joint. Thankfully this KFC chicken and dishes weren't as salty as others I've been to in the past. Got the 8 piece meal, crispy chicken and it was good. 3. Cleanliness - place is clean which made it comfortable. Soda machine buttons wasn't sticky like most places, even though I was just getting water. The booths and table were clean with no bread or chicken crumbs. I've been to the KFC off of King and Tully before and would say, avoid that place. I'd take the extra time to come here versus that area and place. The main reason is due to all of the above but the service is what other KFC's and fast food joints should set their bar too. read more

The food is great but somehow more customers say the food needs to be more great than ever to not get business slow all the time.

Haven't been to this KFC in a while and today's experience reminded me why. There was no line in the store and I still have to wait 20 minutes to pick up food. There were 5 people working in the back and all seems to be standing around. Fountain drink machine had no ice and no one bothered to put up a sign. Don't get me started on the size of their chicken. Worst location to go to. Takes forever to order and mashed potatoes have been cold the last two times I've gone

This KFC is the stingiest piece of crap I've ever encountered. I ordered 20 hot wings, potato wedges, mashed potatoes, $5 bucket, and a chicken sandwich. And guess what? The cashier refused to give me honey mustard sauce unless I paid for it. Of course, sauce was never extra charge in the past and he wasn't sure how to ring me up, so he decided to ring me up for a biscuit ($1.75) to get me 6 honey mustard sauces. KFC, you need to check yourself and all of these random rules you decided to make up. read more

This place has continued to go down hill over the year but today was the last time this trash place gets any business from me, my family or friends. The woman at the register had an absolutely disgusting attitude and treated my elderly mother like she wasn't human just such disrespect it is mind boggling and then to top it off the food I ordered was not close to correct one of the chicken strips was half cold still like it wasn't cooked all the way (completely disgusting). I called to speak with the manager and the lady who originally took the order answered of course and refused to let me speak to the manager because she was "busy" absolute B.S. and then she had the audacity to tell me " well then why don't you just come back and I will see if the order is incorrect and if it is I'll fix it" which I replied in what world do you think I would waste my time to come back there and then let you touch my food after acting the way you are? Absolutely not and will never be coming back and then she tells me " well you don't have to come to kfc I didn't force you". It's just sad to see an adult like that acting like such a child and so immature while working at a restaurant. read more

I agree with the other reviewers it is a big KFC and clean. The restroom was even clean. Pros: Big dining area. Not too busy. Clean restroom. Cons: Chicken (Original) was way too greasy.
