I'm all for supporting local businesses and have been doing so 10x since the beginning of the COVID situation, but this KFC hits new lows, even when accounting for fast food quality expectations, cost cuttings, and delivery overhead. I just spent $94.21 for a 16 piece meal and two sandwiches. Chicken was extremely old and reheated, tough, and decomposing like crazy. This is borderline dangerous vs. merely "not tasting very good" - and I'm pretty tolerant. I've attached a screen shot of the cost breakdown so folks don't think I'm exaggerating.

Donut chicken sandwich review only! Not a review of other foods or the restaurant itself. *the donuts were worse then the worst grocery store donuts you've ever had. It tastes like the donuts are packaged and sent to the store dry and then are warmed up in the microwave and some sugar glaze is poured over it at the last minute. So disappointed. -imma give it to you straight. If you would go to Krispy Kreme donuts and grab two of their glazed donuts and put a piece of KFC chicken in between, this has potential to be a 4-star item! I do think it needs a third ingredient, maybe bacon or something else to fight off that sweetness a little more.

I have been to KFC several times through the years and figured it was time to write a review after eating their for lunch. I ordered a box meal. It came with three pieces of chicken, wedges, corn, and a biscuit. As a start, the payment did not work well. I started with Costco Visa and despite my best efforts and the counter person we could not get it to work (he said that is typical). Fortunately another car worked fine. The menu is kind of confusing--I remember just loving those big buckets. They have a few different coatings, but I just ordered the original. The chicken is still tasty and the original coating is very good. The chicken seems to be kind of small, but I guess it is what you can expect for the price. I ordered the white meat--which I definitely think is the better option (although I suppose that is a matter of taste). I also like the wedges--nice change from the fries in many fast food places. The corn was kind of tasteless. Then I used to love the biscuits, but they seem to have gotten smaller and not as flaky as they used to be (but still good with honey--and better if you use real butter rather than the odd butter mix they give at restaurant).

Biscuits - KFC - Redmond - I swear they get smaller every year.

This is a brief review of a carry-out order from the KFC in Redmond (15802 Bear Creek Pkwy). http://tinyurl.com/koo5krk My brother offered to pick me up some dinner. I chose KFC. He reported that the staff was friendly. However, he had to repeat the order multiple times to get it correct. The food was quickly prepared. The food was also neatly packed. Upon getting home, each item was still warm. Mac N Cheese - This is about as bland as mac n cheese can get. It reminds me of something that would be served up at the local old folks home. Is it 4:30 yet? http://tinyurl.com/mx6tekh Mashed Potatoes & Gravy - Well, if you like KFC mashed potatoes and gravy, this is spot on. I used to really love it. But, these days, I find it a little lacking in flavour. http://tinyurl.com/loam7l3 Biscuits - Well, they still have that wonderful KFC biscuit flavour and texture. They melted in my mouth. But, is it me? or do they just keep getting smaller and smaller. http://tinyurl.com/lkh3unq What is up with the fake honey? I leave the country for awhile. I come back and KFC has slipped in some type of fake honey substitute. http://tinyurl.com/mqlj9te Extra Crispy Chicken - Hmmm, I've eaten a lot of KFC chicken. This chicken was not as flavourful as most. It was as if, instead of 11, it only had 7 secret herbs and spices. However, the chicken was very moist and the breading was extra crispy. It just didn't have that full on KFC flavour. I really missed those extra 4 herbs and spices. http://tinyurl.com/muuywdc Receipt (big dinner for one): $11,25 Overall - This was certainly not my favourite KFC meal. The chicken lacked some flavour. Everything else was pretty much as I expected. In the future, I think I will forgo their mac n cheese. The staff was friendly and the food was neatly packed. This is a decent but not excellent KFC. Three stars on the International Fast Food Scale.

Two words CHEAP FRANCHISE! Ordered a box meal that I've ordered a 100 times. Other stores outside of Seattle it is still the $5 Fill Ups. This cheap owner charges $6.49! Here's what I received. One tiny hockey puck biscuit, one container of lukewarm mashed potatoes and gravy, one tiny stale chocolate chip cookie, a decent sized chicken breast, and the kicker a chicken wing that should have been labeled "chick" wing! It was about the size of one of the dipping sauce packs. I am not even joking. Absolutely unacceptable to charge that and give that minuscule amount of chicken. The only thing that was good was the drink, and the service. The guy at the register clearly was frustrated being understaffed, but he still managed to be friendly and smile. His name was Daniel I believe. I will not return to this cheap location.

Located in Redmond, WA, the Third Place is a full-service Korean restaurant with a full menu of…read moreKorean favorites, known for their Korean Fried Chicken (KFC). Our family took advantage of the chicken's ability to maintain their crispiness, even for carry-out. It was OK, though a little confusing. Once we settled on KFC for dinner, our hosts (daughter and son-in-law) suggested carryout from 'The Third Place', which was a little out of the way from where we were. It is the Third restaurant opened by the owner, all Seattle area locations known for her KFC (Shin Sung Korean restaurant with Underground Kitchen and the since closed Yeon's Chicken). The chicken was ordered beforehand, and because it is prepared fresh when ordered, it took a bit of time for the order to be complete. There is a limited amount of sauce choices, so we chose Honey Garlic ($23.99) and the classic Yangnyum ($23.99), both marked as Whole Chicken size. Also a side order of french fries ($7.99) completed the order. The fries were good: nice and hot, heavily battered potatoes, providing a nice amount of carbs to go with the fried chicken. The chicken came with pickled radish (chicken-mu) which for me is a must, and it was good. In terms of the chicken, they were all wings, which isn't what I expected: getting the breast and thigh pieces chopped into bite-size pieces, battered and sauced, is what makes it KFC, vs all wings which is more like a Buffalo wing restaurant. So we still got the expected 14 pieces, but they were all wings (flats and drums). I thought the sauces were fine (intentionally ordered mild), and the chicken did maintain a crunch (though not as shattering as the best we've had).

I suggested fast-casual, and he promptly discovered Coastline Burgers like he'd uncovered a hidden gem. Meanwhile, I had a flashback to a fancy dinner here with my husband back in 2008 in the Historic Stone House of Redmond--so clearly, we were both feeling nostalgic and hungry. First win: **parking.** In downtown Redmond. A true miracle. Second win: the vibe--warm, welcoming, cozy, and matched perfectly by genuinely friendly staff. My son kept it classic: plain cheeseburger, fries, and a cookies-and-cream milkshake. His official review: "Five out of five stars." His unofficial review: intense nodding while eating and zero leftovers. So yes, according to a very serious teenage food critic, this place is elite.

But unfortunately, just like when I first tried Coastline Burgers in Kirkland, I thought it was A-O-K. Some positives of Coastline Burgers are that there's dedicated parking right by the building, is centrally located to the park, Redmond Town Center and other businesses downtown, and the friendly staff and outdoor seating. Again, the stone house building that Coastline snagged is truly a win for the place since it's one of the few historic buildings still standing in the area. But when it comes down to the actual food, the reason why you come here, I can't say I was all that jazzed. I ordered the classic burger with an extra patty, fries and a side of ranch. Is it weird that the best part of my meal was their house-made ranch? I know my ranches, and this one slaps. It's zesty, creamy and flavorful, which is what you need for dipping. This made the skinny fries all the more tolerable. However, I should say that in general, I'm not a fan of skinny fries where you need to grab a bunch to chomp on. But they're decent. They were crispy and freshly fried, so that was cool. But the burger was the biggest disappointment. I think the bun to beef ratio was off, tasting more of the dry bun than anything else. The beef itself was not bad, but wish it was just a tad more seasoned, especially to cut through the dry bun. But it was juicy and not well-done, which I liked, including my dog! Overall, for getting a burger in downtown Redmond in a casual spot where you don't have to wine and dine, Coastline Burgers is one of the few options to do so, if not the only one...question mark? If you're willing to spend more and not in a hurry, I'd recommend walking over to one of the restaurants around that serves a quality burger.

The Hainanese chicken was so tender and almost pure. It had depth and complemented the chicken fat infused rice. It's a nice balance and you can dip sauce into it if you like more intense flavors. I also liked the fried chicken because it had more texture to a tender dish and I found it nice to go back and forth. We also tried the noodles and it was decent and had a slow burn (spicy) to it but i like the rice dishes the best. The combo chicken was more than enough food for me - I left very full. Ambiance is casual. We arrived on Friday around 6:45pm, and joined a waitlist of 9 for 2 ppl. We waited about 25 minutes for a table. You sit down, order via QR code, and food comes out! Service was decent - nice and friendly and attentive - it's not a place where they'll wait on you regularly but it's also not that kind of setting. Parking is either on the street or in the H Mart complex parking lot. All in all - great eatery

Also, I noticed their floor were extremely greasy and slippery. They put down black rugs in main walkways , but on the way to the restroom was without and I almost slip and fell. They really need a deep clean to their floor, or someone might fall for real.

The husband ordered a home style with cheese and made it a meal by adding fries & a drink for $5.49. He was a little taken back by how little fries they gave for the meal. I did give my husband a wing and he didn't complain at all of the heat. I definitely would have went up a heat level but I did enjoy the flavor. The pickles were thick and crunchy and had the perfect tang. My husband let me have a bite of his sandwich and it was quite delicious. The bread was toasted and buttery. The battered chicken breast was crispy and juicy. So moist and tender to the bite but the crisp to the battered crust on it was perfectly done. We purchased a side of fries and the crimson to go for my son. We thought a full order of fries would be more than the amount of fries my husband got with his sandwich but it wasn't. Kind of disappointing to pay that much for $6 fries. Overall the food was solid. The restaurant was bright and clean. And service was good. We would definitely come back.
