This is a would be a negative number stars if I could kinda review. Let's begin. I'm not a regular at KFC but I do have the app just for our Christmas Eve dinner. Our daughter in law is from Japan and she told us KFC is a big deal there so we like to try and give her something which can remind her of home. Apparently they have a little better than fast casual in Japan with real dishes and silverware. Here of course is paper and well you know. My order. I use the app on Christmas Eve for pick up at 5:45, they close early at 7pm for the holiday. I order the 16 piece Original Recipe Bucket, with 4 Sides, 8 biscuits. It also came with a bonus of 6 "free" cookies, keep that in your mind. The sides and biscuits were fine. Let's talk chicken. It was the 16 piece original recipe, 4 breasts, 4 drums, 4 thighs, and 4 wings, we supposed to be. What we got was all Extra Chrispy...4 breast , 10 thighs, huh???, and 1 wing....add that up to 15 pieces. The thighs looked like lumps. Now the fact that we want original should not be lost. Not often do we have fried chicken and we just don't want extra breading on it. Btw, no cookies. Now the service. I get there at 5:40, mind you the app is telling me it's ready. I go to the door it's locked and no one will open it, talk to me any thing. Another customer is telling me they are closed, I already paid $50 for this on the app!! I go to the drive thru, someone is there mopping and gives me the cut off signal, you know the swipe under his neck, won't talk to me. I showed him the order on my phone thru the window. Only then did he say Yes! Grabs a large plastic bag filled up from a wet counter and hands it to me and says "merry Christmas ". How do I know it was wet? Because the bag was wet and cold. Remember, I said they were open until 7 on Christmas Eve? We knew that because my wife made a recon run there and looked at the store hours posted on the door for Christmas Eve. Overall bad. For 50 bucks I received cold chicken and not even close to what I ordered. I did get the wrong kind of chicken, not the correct amount of it, and of course no cookies. The other customer who was there was a door dasher who had to cancel his delivery, plus other cars were coming up to order. The manager, Max, trains his employees to either throw the original receipt away or create a second receipt (if the customer insists on a paper receipt) . The manager did not give us the food we ordered through the drive through. Forgot nearly $20 worth of food by leaving out our large mac and cheese, 8 piece chicken nuggets, and famous bowl. Our order was large so we didn't notice the missing food that was paid for. The manager was rude and sarcastic. The manager was unprofessional in appearance by allowing the waist of his pants to hang below his back side. I do not care to see the manager's underwear, especially around my food! The woman in front of us in the drive through had a similar experience. She argued with this manger and drove away without her food. SECOND time at THIS location in a month. BOTH experiences very sub-standard for KFC. My first visit I ordered from the on-line menu (chicken sandwich meal) and there was a FIFTY CENT price difference when I went inside to pick it up. I questioned a middle age guy, and his response was "that's on-line ordering!" NOT cool. So today (2-7-21) I go thru the drive thru & get just the (spicy) sandwich for $4.99. My very FIRST bite was grisly! How many times do you get a chicken breast which is grisly?! I NEVER, EVER have! I sat in the parking lot to eat it just incase I had an issue. EVERY SINGLE bite had some "extreme" chewiness! In the middle part there was a particularly bad, really hard-to-chew piece. I pulled it out of my mouth, seriously considering going inside & showing THIS really hard piece to them. Then I had second thoughts...it's 12:00-lunch time. I didn't want to embarras myself. I remembered I had the YELP app on my phone, and decided to see if there's any response by leaving my review.
