This location always has the food hot which is nice. The bad thing is that they NEVER get the orders right...ever. I don't think there's been one time where I've went here and get everything in my order. I ordered a famous bowl w/ no corn and the guy even repeated the order back specifying no corn. I get my order and this thing is FULL of corn! And they didn't give me my cookie(which isn't a big deal cause I don't like chocolate chip anyway) but it's the overall principle. White man with a grey mustache was extremely rude and told me I could leave and not get my food when I asked for gravy on the side instead of on my famous bowl. I was headed for a long drive and didn't want my chicken to get soggy so I like getting it on the side. Why am I being charged extra for something just because I didn't want it on the food? I have had good experiences here. I run a business across the street and take out food once a week to my home where we don't have a KFC close by. I ordered a three piece meal asking for a breast, wing and drumstick. Guess what? Two thighs and a wing... $10 after tax and I get two effin thighs? Tonight I was extremely disappointed with this KFC we went to pick up dinner and they missed a couple sides, then when we went back for them so the we could eat as a family the manager at the drive thru was rude then she told me that since I didn't have a receipt that I had to pay for the side. I then told her that they didn't give me one and that why would I have come all the way back just to get free mashed potatoes that I had come all the way back for what we rightfully had paid for with our meal which they forgot to put in the bag. She then decided ok that if I wanted the mashed potatoes that I had to pay the 4.99, I drive a big truck so for her then not only not fix my order and still want to me to pay again for what they forgot I was outraged. I then went in and when I asked for her supervisor she gave me the number and I called this Supervisor or franchise owner not sure who Max is but then he talked to her then told me that I needed to learn how to read the menu correctly and that We people try to get free food all the time, after that statement I was furious how dear him tell a paying customer that and for makes potatoes really. I had just went there for what we had already paid for. I don't know about you but as an american restaurant franchise owners should hear the customer out and fix the problem not be rude and still not give me what I had already paid for. Unfortunately KFC in General here in the valley is goin' down hill fast. We've had issues in the past with inaccurate orders, which is a training problem. Now the food has been getting progressively worse, at any given location you may get under or over cooked food, our last order the breasts were still bloody inside. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were made from the fryer cooking oil. The gloop they call gravy, inedible. They have been pushing these awful potatoes in the combo dinners and two locations said that the potatoes HAD to be one of the sides. The ads in the penny saver are all for dark meat only, or other items they can't or are slow-movers. You are losing customers to local stores that sell better food, e.g. LoLos et al. The dining room had one couple in it, and unless a busload full of people left moments before we walked in, I can't think of any valid excuse that the trash was overflowing, the tables weren't wiped and there was trash all over the floor. Ok to start I will will say the chicken sandwiches were on par with popeyes. The chicken was crispy and moist. The reason I gave only 2 stars was solely based on the staff and their attitude. The girl at the drive thru was polite I asked for extra pickles on the side she said no problem. We were asked to pull around front and wait for our order so we did. When they brought out our order I looked in the bag , the napkins all wadded up. And NO extra pickles. My husband went in and said we didn't get the extra pickles. The who seemed like a manager said we normally don't do that but I'll let you have them this time (in a snooty tone). 4 extra pickles 4. Are you telling me that you couldn't spare them. The only complaint we had about the actual sandwich was staff needs to learn how to construct the sandwich. Absolutely no stars owed for this location. Went through the drive thru at 9:09 PM, were then asked to wait in the front of the restaurant for our food. Aftwr sitting in our car for 20 mins they finally brought the food out. Get home, tired, and just need to eat as we're tired and starving after a REALLY LONG DAY....to find that nothing in the bag is what we ordered. Tried calling to discuss the error sonwe could gave the order ready when we got back....nope, phone off the hook and just repeatedly says the line is busy. Drive back, to return the box of freaking biscuits and wrong chicken order and get a refund....to be laughed at by the employees as they stand inside the locked doors just staring at me. The supervisor then comes out and has no concern and makes nothing but excuses...while the other crap ass employees just continue to stand around and laugh. First off the general manager, Max, is a very kind and appreciative person who went went out of his way to solve an issue I had with a meal that I ordered. He called me a week after I posted a customer survey saying the the chicken was way overcooked, dry, and the biscuits hard as a rock; which ruined the entire meal. He offered to give me the same meal ($30 fill-up) free next time I came in even though I didn't save the receipt after the survey, who would!? I get to the restaurant after texting him like he told me to and went to order what I was told I could have and the lady (didn't see her name, but she seemed like a shift manager) was SO TERRIBLY RUDE and was drilling me and saying, "we aren't giving you a $30 fillup, you don't even have your receipt. I went to KFC at 1843 W Union Hills Dr ,Phoenix, AZ 85027 at 6:00 PM Arizona time. I ordered a Classic chicken sandwich Plain and Large Fries. After bringing the food home my Son pulled out the box of French Fries a found a clear Bandaid in the Fries. I immediately went back to the restaurant and asked for the manager and was told it was the managers day off. I asked who was in charge and was told the Suoervisor was. I asked to speak with the supervisor and the kid at the counter went and told her I wanted to see her. She made no attempt to come talk with me and after 10 minutes, I told them I would just file a complaint with the health department. None of the woekers were wearing gloves and it is obvious that the worker with the bandaid was not covering there injury. I am filing a complaint with the Health Department and hope they shut down this restaurant. I was forced to select a rating star but I don't believe they deserve a star at all. We visited this location and it began with a rude and unappreciative order taker who didn't seem to be grateful for a job during this Covid pandemic. I have enjoyed KFC before, but the chicken came out so greasy that we could hardly eat it, unlike any I have enjoyed before. Additionally, the drive through pick up didn't give us enough napkins NOR utensils to eat the $20 bucket combo. We had to eat isn the car instead of at home because of another committment. By the time we were done, the chickens became inedible and grease was everywhere, And there was nothing to eat the mashed potatoes and cole slaw with! So the race for the best Chicken and Pickle sandwich is on....OK not really. Just had one of the New Crispy Colonel's sandwiches and have to say without question it is not the best. It has a nice crunch when you bite it but after that it goes down hill. The chicken itself was dry and had very little flavor, the sandwich itself was very small and there was more wrapper then sandwich. Not so great chicken, and a service charge. Ordered two 10 piece buckets, one of which was total mush. Not a crisp piece in the entire bucket. In addition, I was charged a 39 cent service fee for using a debit card. There is now a sign in the window that this location charges a 39 cent service fee on all orders with a 39 cent discount for cash and CREDIT card customers. When I questioned the charge, and informed the not-especially-helpful cashier that my debit card can also be processed as a credit card, he insisted that it could not, and that their system charges automatically for debit cards.
