I visited this restaurant last month and upon placing my order, I requested fresh tenders (cooked at the time I placed my order). However, instead of fresh tenders, I received some that had been previously cooked and had obviously been sitting awhile, as they were lukewarm and dry when I bit into one. I drove around to the drive thru and told the cashier that I requested fresh tenders. He responded by saying "All the food is fresh." I told him I didn't want the tenders and he refused to take them back. I asked for a refund and he stated "I'm not given any money back." I requested a manager, who apologized immediately and provided me with fresh tenders and potato wedges after I informed him of the cashier's poor customer service skills and lack of common courtesy.
I revisited the restaurant last week at which time I requested fresh tenders and potato wedges. The same cashier held up the drive-thru talking to two young ladies in a car ahead of me AFTER he had given them their order. I could hear him telling one of the young ladies to call & talk to him and that his name was on their receipt. Once he saw me at the window, he asked a coworker to take my money, which was fine because I didn't want to deal with him. Once I received my order, I opened the bag to inspect my food. This guy comes to the window and says - "Can you move 'cause you holding up my line". This guy was sweating profusely, was wearing a fake set up gold teeth that were about to fall out of his mouth, and had the audacity to say I was holding up the line while making sure my food was acceptable. This was the same guy who held up the line asking someone to call him at his place of employment. I told him I wasn't moving my vehicle until I examined my food. He says "You can do that somewhere else." I told him instead of worrying about me he should be more concerned with his personal hygiene due to his neck and the upper part of his chest being covered with sweat, which in my opinion is insanitary due to the fact that he's working with food. His name is Tony, as it was printed on the receipt.
Once I made it back home, I called the restaurant to inform the manager of this guy's unprofessional behavior. I requested to speak with a manager and someone hung the phone up. I called back and spoke with the so-called manager who paused when I asked for her name. She hesitated and then gave me a bogus name. My husband heard the conversation, gathered the KFC bag, and returned the food and was given a refund. He was upset, just like a was, that I had to put up with nonsense all because I requested my food be cooked upon order. I will NEVER return to this restaurant and neither will my friends are family.
In addition, I was telling a co-worker about my experience at KFC & he was like, "Oh, I only went to KFC once since we moved here. I saw a roach when I took my wife and son to the buffet and we never went back. I showed the roach to an employee and even though the roach was killed, I just couldn't sit there and eat thinking maybe there were more." WOW KFC! A roach and an unprofessional, rude, and sweaty cashier? read more
