The food started out to be good, loved the pot pies. Then those became an issue, either no chicken, had one that was all potatoes and even had one that was more carrots than anything else. So after several tries, I gave up on pot pies. Switched to just 2 piece chicken meal, and now that has become so hit and miss, that I am giving up all together with this KFC location. The chicken I picked up for lunch today was so over done that you couldn't even bite into it, it even smelt odd and the biscuit could have doubled for a hockey puck. It's really an abusive relationship. I actually considered giving them three stars because I regretfully go back here A LOT. This is why I decided on two stars. Food, when available, is actually fine. Nothing special, but just your ordinary KFC. In fact, sometimes they're quite well made. It's everything else they fail at. They rarely ever have everything on the menu. One day it's the crispy chicken. Another day they're missing the original recipe. There are *ALWAYS* people pissed off in front of me because their order is never right. Every time I see the long drive-thru line and decide to go inside to order, there are pissed off people in front of me because their orders are wrong. In fact, I've gone through the drive-thru only to turn around and park to go inside to correct my order. Every time I visit, there's someone at the counter, in-training. By now, I expect to wait a good 25 minutes to receive my order whenever I'm there, and if they exceed my expectations, GREAT! It's still a mystery how they manage to stay opened at all these years. Maybe there are more people like myself around who simply bite the bullet and endure through the agony. Maybe because it's the only KFC near Maumee/Monclova/Waterville. Maybe we're all hoping for the day Kroger's fried chicken gets better. Maybe I need to drive a few more minutes and try Church's even thought their rating is just as bad. Or maybe I just give up on fast food fried chicken and go with sit-down places like Beer Barrel or something... sadly... read more

Every time since they re opened we have been told they are out of chicken. When the one time they did actually have chicken they got my order wrong and told me what I was given was what I ordered and I'll take what they gave me or get nothing at all. read more

Restaurant was clean however we did not get what we ordered. We first wanted a bucket of chicken 1/2 crispy1/2 original. They were out of extra crispy so we told them all original. We get home and the bucket was filled with all extra crispy and two pieces of original. So for those who like original in my household they were out of luck read more

Was excited to go to the new Kentucky Fried Chicken in Maumee that just open Thursday this is September 2023. We ended up going Saturday and when we got home they forgot to give us our biscuits the mashed potatoes had hardly any gravy on it the coleslaw was really dry and the chicken leg was so small it looked a Sparrow's leg. With hardly any meat on it that was not cooked through and the breading was so thin and very Bland. The chicken thigh was so thinly coated that you could see the chicken chicken was raw inside and it was tasteless and Bland. I called and complained and she said that they could give us 10% off of our next order. There will never be a next order at that Kentucky Fried Chicken in Maumee Ohio on Conant Street. I asked for extra coleslaw because it doesn't come with a meal anymore and it was three I think 50 cents for one little tiny cup of coleslaw so I ordered a container of it which was almost $4 that was very dry. I've been going to Kentucky Fried Chicken for over 60 years and this is the worst meal I've ever had there. I will continue to go to the one on Airport Highway in Holland Ohio which has excellent food every time. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Visited 2 times, both times the food was inedible and I ended up throwing it out. After the second time I called the Manager as they obviously have a problem with a store that has only been open a few months. I talked to the Manager, she apologized, and said the fryers are turned off at 9pm, so late night orders may be a problem. If I return within the next 60 days they will replace my order. I arrived 2 days later to be told that person does not work at that store, even though I have the log of the call to that store. The person at the drive through said she was the Manager, and also was working the night I was there. She said, I will NOT replace your order, I will not take your complaint.... then told me "Get out of my Drive Through". I am sure if you get there early in the day you may get a good order, after 5pm, I guess you are taking chances and may get something from this competent, sarcasm inserted here, managers team. read more

I am very disappointed with my service tonight. We arrived shortly before they closed up and ordered two famous bowls. As you know , famous bowls consist of popcorn chicken, corn, potatoes and gravy. I only eat these because of the popcorn chicken. They failed to tell us they must have been out of popcorn chicken. It looks like they decided to substitute the popcorn chicken with chicken tenders. If I would have been told "I'm sorry but we do not have popcorn chicken but we can use chicken tenders to complete your order instead" I would not have placed the order and would have ate elsewhere. read more

This has to be the worst location I have ever eaten KFC at. The managers & staff were rude. When asking where my Mac and cheese was, the staff member rolled her eyes while the other one screamed across the restaurant that it was in my box. This location is very under maintenance. The area where I ate was dirty, the woman behind the register was very aggressive and loud. Not very welcoming. My chicken tenders were ice cold. They only thing I enjoyed with my meal was the coleslaw because it is supposed to be served cold. My family and I will not be returning. Now here's an oddity. A few months ago, my husband I started taking out KFC's Chicken Pot Pies. Very oddly, our pies never contained any chickens--only gravy and vegetables. We complained and were told it was out of their control as the pies were made elsewhere. We stopped visiting. Today we decided to try it one more time so we took out 3 pot pies. I checked the pies with their plastic fork and once again, NO CHICKEN ! The manager/worker actually told us they had just made up a batch without chicken. It would take 20 minutes to bake more. What in the world ? Why is this place making pot pies without chicken and passing them off as chicken pot pies ? Too strange to wrap my brain around. We are done with KFC and I reported this questionable practice to their head office in Louisville, Kentucky. read more

Went through the drive-through here yesterday and ordered 2 five dollar fill up meals both with chicken tenders mashed potatoes and a biscuit and a cookie. The tenders were extremely over cooked the outside breading hard as a rock chicken inside very dry and simply not good, also the biscuits in both meals were so under cooked they had raw dough in the middle of them. If I had wanted a small serving of mashed potatoes and a cookie for supper I could've done that at home and it would not have cost me ten dollars. Very disappointed in this KFC. read more

I drove up at 8:53 and found the lobby door locked, even though the lobby hours are until 9:00. I then drove to the drive-up area and all the lights were out. So I drove to the window and tooted. A fella came to the window and I asked if they were closed. He said no. I asked why the lobby was locked before 9:00 and he said they do that. I called to make a catering order for our business. I always call a day before to make my order. I contacted the regional catering manager and submitted my order via email. I needed to feed roughly 70 people. After I submitted my order, I was told that they could not accommodate. I was very disappointed and ended up taking my business elsewhere. The catering manager stated that it was "out of her hands." If you have a general location setup to only deal with catering needs, you might want to make sure you always have enough product to accommodate any order that you may receive. This definitely has a negative impact on any future orders we put in with KFC. read more

This KFC is the worst running fast food restaurant in Maumee area. I went there last week and had to wait 25 minutes to place an order at the drive thru. Also, there was a time the manager didn't show up to open the restaurant for several hours. Two times, I requested a meal for lunch and they had run out of the item. I posted the following information on facebook about our stop at this KFC on Sunday 9/17/17. From comments I received it is obvious that there are serious problems with this store. We decided to pick up something for Sunday mid-day meal after church yesterday because I did not cook. First stop was KFC on Conant in Maumee. I walked in and stood at the counter. No one came to take our order. I yelled hello a couple of times. Could hear people talking - not about job for sure. A woman came out and put biscuits in a holding container. She said someone would be out soon. I heard her tell another person that there was a customer waiting. He continued his conversation. Not sure how many minutes passed but I left. My thought was that if they weren't interested in customers that they were probably not paying attention to cooking the food either. One star is too many. read more

The only reason they get one star because they don't have negative stars. Went through the drive thru. There were 2 cars ahead of me and I wanted almost 15mins to get to the window. I paid took my food and left. I had ordered 2 $5 meals, both with chicken "tenders". When I got home they both had a "leg & thigh". I took them back and went in because the line in the drive thru had 5 cars. I told them they gave me the wrong order. I waited another 15 mins for them to swap out the leg and thigh for the tenders. In that time several cars drove off after waiting in line to long. The guy at the window had two orders wrong and two other people had come in because their orders were wrong. Finally get home and give the kids the meals and they say "where's the cookies"? Crap!!! I cal and the manager says "oh we forgot the cookies"? No apology nothing. I live in Maumee, but will drive across the river to Perrysburg to get KFC. read more
