Ordered online, got there, no popcorn chicken (only one of the items we ordered) but they offered an extra sandwich instead. Staff was quite accommodating and very personable. Food was fresh and hot. read more

Went to drive thru. The food was hard and cold. Did not get a receipt. We pulled away and I went back in and asked for the manager. The guy went to the office, came back and said there was not one there. It was 3:00. He said what's the problem. I showed him the chicken and said it's cold and hard and very sm pieces. Can anybody else help me? He said, they don't speak English. Noone speaks English and no Mgr. And old and cold food. Just what we went there for. He then asked me if I wanted another order, I said I guess so. He got me another order, and without closing the box, slid it across the counter and walked away without saying anything.I have never been treated so terrible in any place in my life. Please acknowledge me of this problem and why I was treated so bad. I had to leave with a ripped bag an old bag of food and a new opened container of food and no apology. He just walked away. This must never happen again to anyone especially me.Please advise me of what was done to fix this problem. You will loose a lot of business if people are treated this way. read more

I recently tried out this KFC location. I have had KFC before, and it's average chicken. Nothing too great about it, however it satisfies your hunger. I had no issues with the food here. For my order, I tried a famous bowl, spicy chicken sandwich, and boneless nuggets. Everything was decent. The bowl could of used some more chicken in it, so I added some of my side nuggets into it. The chicken sandwich was my favorite out of everything. Overall, an average fast food spot for a quick meal. read more

Ordered thru the mobile app. I had mashed potato bowl. It was thrown together nothing was melted. I ordered the new mashed potato bites and got chicken nuggets instead. Ordered a waffle and didn't receive it. Not sure what was going on that day but am not a fan. Will not be ordering from them anytime soon and I love KFC! read more

Place was empty for a reason I guess. Chicken was shriveled up and dark brown burnt and dried out. To the boy at the drive through, if you don't want to be there you can get a new job. I will never return. I say thank you and you just huff and walk away. Seemed like I was bothering him ordering food. miserable young man, go get a different job. Your ruining someone's business cause your unhappy. No one is holding you hostage there. Go get a new job that you can thrive in and get the hell out of the kitchen that's burning you down. read more

Ah, the line here was very long; 20min wait to order+get food - I think they ran out of chicken and had to make another batch. Drive-thru only (no counter service), too, which was making it longer. Once they had chicken, they moved faster. The prices have gone up in the years - a 10pc bucket with sides now is $30, used to be $20. The chicken pieces, too, were smaller - two thighs and a leg that looked like they came from young chickens instead of the classic larger - I'm not sure if they're killing them too young, or since no more hormones, they don't get that much bigger anymore. Still, the original was tasty as ever, the biscuit was great, and mashed potatoes and gravy have no equal. But the mac & cheese was too runny and they got rid of a lot of the menu for now (not sure if ever bringing back the BBQ chicken, the sliders, etc.). Sadly been to better. read more

KFC - Smallest two thighs and leg that I've seen in a long time from any shop. - Fast Food Near Me - Hazlet, New Jersey

I wish I could give -1 stars. I swore after the last time I went there (chicken was overcooked and way too dark) that I would never go there again. It was late and I was tired. It all ended up going in the trash. But we had company and that's what they wanted. Paid almost $50 for food. Asked for CORN. Idiot at the register put in coleslaw instead. I absolutely hate coleslaw. Meal was supposed to come with 8 biscuits and I ordered two more. They shorted us one biscuit and completely forgot to give us the two extra. I really like KFC and this is the only one in this area unless you go to Old Bridge. So from now on, we will only get KFC if we are shopping out that way. I am so annoyed but trying hard not to let this ruin my time with friends. Y'all need to get it the fck together. You're in the service industry but service sucks. read more

KFC - Receipt - Fast Food Near Me - Hazlet, New Jersey

The "Colonel" should be court martialed. Long lines, indifferent service and random foodstuffs tossed in the bag make this venerable fast feeder unsuitable for prime time. The Colonel may be a genius with herbs and spices but when it comes to restaurant logistics he's nothing but a raw recruit. We're not talking grading on a curve, we're talking always lousy, inept and regrettably overpriced take-out long before COVID joined the national conversation. It may be finger lickin' good but do I get a discount for always cooling my heels. Not cool. read more

The chubby boy who is always there with an attitude is so funny one time he gave me $50 worth of food free...I think he should just quit his attitude says it all same thing with the light skin boy with braids. I see why this KFC gets no customers. It's sad. I'm surprised they're still open. read more

Close at 10:30 when hours of operation say 11. TERRIBLE Said they were short staff but 3 employees were inside

This establishment does not even deserve one star. The service is extremely slow and you rarely get your entire order the first time around. The food is overcooked and the staff is horrendously unprofessional. I made my LAST purchase here last night. I've never heard so many derogatory terms being thrown about at any other establishment. The workers were throwing the N word around at each other like no one's business (among other nasty things). I was also very uncomfortable with how annoyed and aggressive they were with customers. The dining area is always empty which is probably due to the disgusting behavior of the employees. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. read more

Just came here to get a quick dinner. I've been wanting to try the Nashville Hot tenders so I ordered that. The tenders were okay but I was expecting them to be crispier. Maybe I'm just spoiled with eating good Korean fried chicken all the time. The sauce was spicy but not overwhelming. The meal came with fries, a biscuit, and a drink which were all good. I was impressed with the fries- crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Service was fine and there's plenty of parking around this fast food restaurant. read more

Food's not the best and need some improvement. The service is pretty average, nothing special. Scenery is pretty below average maybe one day they'll advance to a Chick-Fil-A standard until then Kfc almost consistently gets a really low rating from me. One star for now and that's me just being generous. read more

Terrible service, rude employee and they got my order wrong. Unreal. How can you get a mobile order wrong? It's all written out already.

How about going in ordering your food & drinks after spending $40 ish dollars go home to find a dead roach floating in my drink Even after I went back showed a manager & was refunded in cash even though I paid using a debit card I feel as though this would be just another experience at this location that doesn't get looked it..this was the absolute worst experience I ever had in my life eating from a fast food restaurant read more

Very unprofessional. I'm not looking for 5 start service but it would have been nice to be acknowledged in the drive thru without having to announce myself after 30 seconds. Then I'm told what a second, which was another 30 seconds. The young man then said yah. I give my order, 2 combo meals. More silence. Then I say should I go to the widow and he goes wait, what, I don't even know what you ordered. I lost my mind on him and left. By the way drive thru was empty and so was the parking lot. I actually give 0 stars. Our Wendy chicken sandwiches were delicious. read more

Literally the RUDEST drive thru i have ever been to! Literally said 3 words to me! When i pulled up to order... the employee said "YEAH" I ordered my combo.. next work "DRINK" i placed my drink order "AND" asking if i wanted anything else. Are you kidding me. Absolutely disgusting, be a decent human being and put sentences together. Like "may i help you" or "what would you like to drink" Horrible service !!!! Do not go there read more

I don't think I've ever had a fast food MANAGER argue with me, especially after over charging us. My bf asked for a number 4 then sandwich, just the sandwich otherwise he would've stated the number 1. It was only me and him. That's TWO people. He charged us for 3 meals and handed us 3 drinks. Whatever, I let it slide. Until my bf asked for sauce and the manager replied you only get 3 otherwise they are 40 cents each. So I jumped in annoyed that he just over charged us for an extra meal that was not asked for and won't just give him an extra sauce, he proceeded to argue with me that we asked for it. He was so rude and unprofessional I plan on never come back here again. read more

I came here at 8:00 in the evening July 1st to get the largest bucket of mixed dark meat I could. When I asked the drive-thru person how much that would cost they said $34 and change. And I said to him, just the chicken right? And he said, yes just chicken. I was unhappy with that price but said whatever. Thinking it is normal bc this is a Time of high inflation. I drove to the pickup window and picked up my order & I asked him for some hot sauce packets and we said farewell. when I got home I was checking the menu there for something else and now I see that the bucket of chicken should have cost $24. He never stopped me or told me, "hold on wait for your sides" like he misunderstood my order. I can tell by looking at the menu now that I'm home, that they charged me for sides and never gave me sides. So there's two problems here. They misunderstood the order and never gave me the sides that I paid for. I think it was rip off the tourist night. I called them the next day in between busy hours at 3:00 on Sunday afternoon and they did not answer their phone. so I'm then leaving this review read more

I never thought I would review a fast food place, but this place is so bad that I feel compelled to do so. The corporate offices need to send someone down to straighten this place out. First off, the place does not look clean. There was garbage on the floor in the back it looked disgusting. The employees were talking and clowning around way too much. Plus there was a lot of cursing from the employees. The last 2 times I was there I waited over 40 minutes to get my food. I was not alone. Both times they did not have enough chicken prepared. Today I ordered a chicken sandwich combo. Waiting more than 40 minutes for chicken sandwich combo is ridiculous. People who ordered after me received their orders before me. When I asked why they said the potatoe wedges were not ready and it would be another 5 minutes. I was not asked if I wanted another side instead, they walked away. I don't plan on coming back any time soon. read more

This location always seem to run out of chicken along with other items. Wait time is absurd and staff is always unapologetic. They all seem very uninterested in being there. This KFC does have much better pricing than the one in Old Bridge but the service is terrible - I guess you get what you pay for. If another chicken competitor was to open in the area (Popeyes, Churches) I'm sure many would flock there instead. Location could use a serious deep clean as well... read more

This is the worst kfc ever they always pull you to the side and take 10 to 15 min to bring out your food. They get bonuses on the timer so once they move you they could care less about you. My order is never right and always missing something after waiting 15 min. Hazlet is the worst and it stinks because I love KFC and this one is the closest it's horrible! read more

If I could give this place 1/2 star I would. It was 1/2 a start only because the chicken tenders were ok, not great to order again, but the bucket of fried chicken was the worst!! I can fry chicken better than them in a deep pan. I was trying to get food from Popeyes that just opened but it was extremely busy so I went to KFC for the last time ever. The skin of the chicken was soggy! Fried chicken soggy! My stomach started to hurt 20 minutes later. Don't waste your money and go somewhere else for fast food. read more

Can't beat the $20 meal deal! It's was crowded when I went in the 4th of July. It was reasonably quick and fresh and tasty. I treated order lady with respect and patients and I got good service and no complaints. It's a hard job dealing with the public, sometimes customers can in with an attitude and get it back. All in all, I'll definitely be back . read more

I have tried this place twice. The first time was just a simple 8 piece meal. It wasn't great but was edible. I went for a second try today and got some bowls, some potatoes (they get a pass cause I know they are fake but that's the charm), and some chicken tenders, the same kind you can get at almost any restaurant. I thought "hey chicken place...can't mess up chicken tenders." I was wrong. I'm not sure what the tenders were seasoned with but they had a taste that was off-putting and a breading that was equally as gross. To seal the deal, the tenders were overcooked and served way too long after they were cooked. At this point I settled for the biscuit because we all love some KFC biscuits...at least I used to. The biscuit I ate was so stale it was like dust. I have a sneaky feeling that the top-notch kitchen crew is fixing food and letting it sit way past it's serve date. KFC, I don't know if you read this or even care, but this is possibly the worst restaurant I have ever been too. I played music all over the U.S. and I have eaten at some very questionable places but this joint takes the cake. This place needs an overhaul starting at the top. Whoever is managing this place has no standards for quality of food, cleanliness, or customer service. All three of these areas are beyond unsatisfactory. Maybe I am nostalgic for the days when KFC was really good chicken but those days are gone. his restaurant has transformed that reputation into a shell of bad food, bad ambience, and bad attitude all served at a ridiculously high price. So, kudos to this single restaurant for teaching me $30 lesson in why I won't be eating your restaurant ever again. And thanks for leaving some of my fond memories of Sunday chicken dinners and grabbing a bucket with friends as over-cooked and dried out memories. Spare yourself the disappointment and avoid this place altogether. There are many great places to eat in town that will leave you satisfied. Update: so KFC decided to reach out to me via Yelp. I tried to call the number listed and sat on hold for 5 minutes before I hung up. Sorry KFC, you aren't scoring points in my book. read more

The worst location I ever visited. I have made numerous calls to the 1800 number asking to have the owners of this location to either call or email me,it goes on deaf ears! No crispy chicken,no wedges, limited sides...nothing else available to order...when I got my 3 piece original chicken,it look like it was laying around for hours...Time to call the board of health...To the owners of this location you need to look into the operations of this location...once Popeyes opens down the road you can say goodbye to your business! read more

Absolutely disgusting. Unclean. Last time I ordered they made me wait 10 mins for fried chicken. They also included a discount which I was pleased for. The best KFC I've went to by far. Superb service and very clean. Food is fresh and we'll prepared!

Horrible. The popcorn chicken tasted like they just fried batter instead of chicken. The chicken tastes very greasy. I couldn't eat it. I couldn't understand their menu too. I was interested and wondered what KFC tasted like... It tastes bad. Now I know what KFC tastes like read more

I went to this place on Friday Oct. 23,2015 to get take out. They are just rude from the beginning. I went threw Drive Thru and placed order. I go to the window and the style of chicken they didn't have ready. It was Crispy. They never have any available when I go. I don't understand it was 6:50 pm . Why not? When you question it they say I just put some in and it will take 16 mins. I just had it with this place! I will never go to this place again. Even if they did have some ready it sucks. They are RUDE people who work there! I t is never clean and the people rather talk to each other then talk to the customer the proper way. This place need to go ! Stay away!! read more

Good place as far as KFCs go. The building is easily spotted from the roadway.

I read the other reviews and was shocked by what people said. I moved to the area 4 years ago and the only problem I ever had at this place was the intercom/speaker didn't work properly and I had to keep going to the window to order instead of at the menu board. The food has always been ready fast, the workers always as friendly as could be so I don't know how other people had such bad experiences at the same place. I feel like we were going to 2 different places. read more
