I went to the KFC on Saturday evening at 6:47. My husband tried to place an order in the drive thru . The so called other manager got frustrated by not listening to him and cut off the microphone. We left the drive thru and went in . The other manager came to the register while the person that cut off the microphone started running her mouth just as rude as she could be and continued to run her mouth and be rude until we walked out with our food . It seems like Corporate doesn't answer the phone to take complaints. They were the nastiest rudest person Ive come across . It's sad that KFC hires people like that . KFC / Taco Bell...overcharged me for a side and, neither the employee nor the manager, issued a single apology after it was brought to their attention. Ordered $5 fill up chicken boxes and was told it would be 40 minutes before any chicken was ready. So wait...let me get this straight....you're KFC and you're out of chicken?? KFC - Fast Food Near Me - Garner, North Carolina

On 6/24/2021, my fiance and I stopped by your KFC establishment on 5530 NC 42 in Garner, NC. On this day, we stopped by with the voucher that was given to us for our last disappointing visit. We requested for our 16 piece meal to be freshly cooked and the employee that cooks the chicken stated that he wasn't cooking any chicken because the breader machine was down and he was attempting to fix it. The visiting manager Renee came up front to explain what the issue was and to see if she could remedy the issue. We explained to her that this was our third attempt with this establishment to get our food prepared correctly. In midst of us explaining to the manager, the driver-thru cashier Alexis called us trifling and that they have tried to get our orders right, but we're just out to get free food. At this point, KFC corporate needs to come in and evaluate this franchisee and employees at this store. This store does not have a general manager. The shift managers have no control over their employees. The managers that care have left and went to other stores. Employees are not trained properly and they do whatever they want to do because there are no consequences for their actions. Repeatedly this store is not properly stocked. It always is running short on items or don't have them at all. Customer service is last priority, when it should be first. Managers that care about customers and doing what is right have left because of lack of appreciation in how they represent the KFC brand. Would give 0 stars if I could. I witnessed my friend's mom get treated with so much disrespect through the drive thru. We came after a basketball game and she was going to order tenders. To make a long story short, the girl working the drive thru failed to tell my friends mom what a fill up was(because she didn't know) and she had to have asked at LEAST 6 times and the girl working the drive thru still didn't answer. On top of that, she kept getting loud over the speaker with my friend's mom, and would refuse to answer any questions she had about the menu. So then my friends mom decides to pull off, because at this point the drive thru was being held up for no good reason. We ended up going to bojangles across the street, but my friends mom decided to call the store and speak to the manager and not to our surprise.. THE MANAGER WAS RUDE TOO. He apparently said that he didn't "hear" HIS employee working the drive thru but said over the phone that he was standing right next to his employee Classic right?! Anyways, my friends mom told the manager the girl working drive thru needed more training or something because she as the employee handled the situation so very poorly. We ended up having to call corporate because the MANAGER HANGING UP ON THE CUSTOMER IS SO UNCALLED FOR. Avoid this location if you can. So it's funny how their dinning room is closed and to walk in to get a to go order you must wear a mask. When almost every employee is in there with their mask down around their necks and not on their face! Ironic isn't it? If I could give this place negative stars I would. I went about a year ago to pick up a quick meal on the way home. Went in and apparently interrupted the employees party. Customer service was horrible. One employee was arguing with her boyfriend over a car then ran out after him. Others were cussing and being rude. Today I went back to give it another chance but went through the drive thru and again I guess I again interrupted the party. Sat in the drive thru for quite a while never got a thank you or anything. My food was practically thrown at me. I tried to find a phone number to contact the corporate office about it but I guess they knew they were bad and just didn't want complaints against them. Spent 20 minutes in line to get food. Got wrong drink and no spoon for mashed potatoes. Seriously?

We have given this location many chances, but not any longer. They always, ALWAYS forget the cookie for the $5 Fill-Up combos. My young son was given a container full breading, which was hard as rock, instead of popcorn chicken (the person filling up the container would have known it was all breading). The potatoes in the famous bowl are so hard, it couldn't even be mixed. All of these happened on different occasions. Never again. This is the worst food I've ever gotten at a KFC, which is a shame because the people working the window are very nice and friendly. read more
