Pretty decent meal, my Mom loves the pot pies. Yes, the cost of meals has gone up in the last few years. There are some good offers on the app from time to time, so we wait and order when there's a deal on something we like. I also order for pickup on the app, so it cuts down on the wait time. Always check your food before you leave, because you don't want to discover an issue with your order later when you're home. I haven't had too many issues with my orders, the few were because of missing sauces, etc. Chicken strips are my usual order, with a meal. I miss the apple pies, because they've gone to pastry bites now. I seldom eat in the dining room, but it's fine. A little on the small side, but it's not usually crowded. I gotta say this is one of the best chicken pot pie I've seen and had they do make good Pot pies at the other places too, but this one they took extra care have lots of meat inside the piecrust is very fluffy and large. I rarely ever leave reviews but this was genuinely one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a fast food place. 1 star is still too high I would try to give it a 0 if I could. I ordered online and pulled into the drive thru and one of the workers (Trae the manager) told me to wait curbside but he was pretty rude. So I went and waited for 20 minutes and they came out with an order that was only 40% of my food. I went in to tell them and that same employee was insistent that I'm wrong and that this is my order. He told me that I was only charged for that food even though I can see what my bank was charged. He then realizes that he's wrong and he's like ohhhhhhh that's actually not yours and starts yelling at the other employees infront of me. Very disrespectful. I understand mistakes happen but that's very out of line. I then asked him well where is my food and he tells me that we are gonna start on it and tells me to get out of the store because the store is closed and it's drive thru only. Doesn't apologize and doesn't admit that there was a mistake on their end. Just rude to me and the other employees. The part that made me write this review was mostly how rude he was being to the employees. Completely unacceptable in-front of a customer. I later got my food another 15 minutes later. I was craving some mashed potatoes and gravy so I decided to hit up the Escondido KFC today. I got a tenders combo with an extra side. I was surprised at how expensive KFC has gotten, since this meal was nearly $17. It was extremely hot and fresh, and they included utensils and condiments in the bag, which was nice since I like to sit in my car and eat. The chicken was very juicy and flavorful and the biscuit was warm and salty and fluffy. Really good overall! Skip the KFC sauce which is like bad honey mustard and get the buffalo ranch instead. I ate one piece of chicken, about one-fourth of the coleslaw, and one side of the mashed potatoes and gravy. It was nice to have plenty of leftovers. The delivery was fast, perhaps too fast, because I woke up in the middle of the night with food poisoning. I couldn't eat anything until Thursday morning, the 23rd, and couldn't even drink water until 10:00 PM Wednesday night.
