We only come here about once a year as the food can be hit or miss and the same goes for the employees friendliness and attitude. On this occasion the food was on par flavor wise for a KFC and a Taco Bell. The overriding scent in the restaurant is KFC. I'm really cutting them some slack on this visit with two stars because the food was good, but the closer we looked at the dining area we realized why their take out window was getting the majority of the business and the inside dining very little. I don't think I want to eat inside again until it gets a serious thorough cleaning from top to bottom! Shut the inside down for a day and let people come to the drive thru for a day at least. Many of the chairs are covered in dirt, some booth seats are ripped, the floors and table tops need a good scrubbing, and who knows what condition the bathroom is in if the dining area has been so neglected. This is a Taco and KFC fast food. I went tonight, for the first time and they had no chicken tenders or chicken pot pie. This was around 7pm. I order a 4 piece chicken dinner and three hard shell tacos. The taco's had at most 1 teaspoon of chicken. I will update my post after I eat the chicken. I went thru drive in. The windows were filthy. I was asked to drive lot the door. The door and windows were also filthy. I can only image what the kitchen looks like. I will NEVER go there again. A while ago, I went here and they told me they were out of tenders. I think it was close to closing time, so not a big deal. I went back a little while later, and they told me they were out of tenders. I think this was early evening, but still not that big a deal. I went here four days ago. They told me that their fryer was broken, and thus couldn't serve any KFC food. I went here today. At the drive-thru, they told me their drive-thru card reader wasn't working, and if I wanted to pay by card, I had to come inside. I went inside and ordered the tenders combo. Two times and you are outta here! Went through drive thru at two separate visits and both times the order was wrong. Waaay wrong. Everytime I come to this store they never have any original white meat. Then when I ask how long will it take to cook some they say 30 minutes when anybody knows it don't take no fast food resturuant 30 to fry no chicken. Then when I finally got my order the chicken was burnt. When I complained about the burnt chicken they argue back and forth with me. They actually thought I was going to spend $30 for a bucket of burnt chicken. Obviously this company seems to have a hard time getting a GM in there that care enough about the customers and service to the point people can visit the store and actually get the quality of food and service that they pay for. If they not gonna do roight by the customers they need to shut that damn store down until they do. This location is very poorly managed. Employees are asleep on the job and don't pay attention to what they're doing. They make repeated mistakes: wrong food, missing items from your bag, charging you incorrectly, telling you to wait and then forgetting about you, etc. Happens A LOT. read more

Then they started taking orders in drive thru... Hence the reason why Im guessing they ran out of Mac and cheese.. Had to get a refund on my order now they offering me fresh fired for free... My whole family was disappointed with this! I ordered xtra crispy and waited the extra time only to get the disgusting array of greasy, half destroyed crap. The chicken here is pure TRASH! The KFC I know is known for its perfectly seasoned chicken. The chicken I received tasted as if no a single speck of seasoning was added to the chicken. I also ordered the new nuggets being advertised. Lore Jesus...when I tell you that experience was like eating tofu...NO FLAVOR!!! Not even a little bit. Shame on you North Carolina KFC! I also should have read the reviews before mistaking this place for a restaurant. There is great KFC out there and there is some that is pretty marginal. Then there is this location that shares its building with a Taco Bell. The chicken is completely unrecognizable as KFC. The sparse coating was really nothing more than a little flour and maybe there was some cornmeal and floor sweepings added for texture. The biscuit was almost certainly getting ready for its second birthday or maybe it had been left in a warmer for days. The Pepsi, I am happy to day poured perfectly and the straw never broke once during the extraction process. I hope the owner of this...thing, is forced to eat there some day. I left most of mine on the table. Please avoid eating here or at least, ask them to pull a piece out of that warming tray and show it to you. read more

The food is typically pretty good and I haven't had any issues with my orders, but every time I use the drive thru the employee working has horrible customer service skills! It's not always the same person. I don't know what the problem is, but get it together KFC. People who act like they abhor all other humans should not be working the drive thru! I came to this location and wanted to utilize the drive-thru component, but I was told that the drive thru was down and asked to come inside to place an order. This is the second time I've come to this location and been told that the drive thru was down. So I'm assuming it happens often. Last time, this really sick lady in a hospital gown and a face mask had to come in and I'm pretty sure, she should've stayed in the car. It's inconvenient. How can this be considered fast food, if I have to park my car and go inside to get it? What if I were handicapped and used a wheelchair? I would have to park, unload my chair, set it up and then go inside to order. Then come back out, fold my chair and put it back in the car. I'm not sure if they're short staffed, but I would like to see some extra employees so I don't have to go inside to place an order. read more

I love KFC always have and always will but this location is ran horribly. Each time I visit they are always out of something for example CHICKEN. Tonight after my training class I wanted to grab a couple pieces of grilled chicken and the awesome coleslaw.. but I was told there was no more coleslaw for the night...it's 730p. My son wanted a gold basket combo but there were no strips and no crispy chicken available. The only chicken available was the original chicken. The person at the drive thru sounded embarrassed they were out of every single thing I ordered. Why is this business still standing? This is a pretty busy side of town and to not have food available is a let down. I will not return to this location even though it's within walking distance from my house. I loved Taco Bell when I was young and now and then I get a mad taco craving. Well I should have heeded the other reviews for this location and now filled with regret. The less than enthusiastic people behind the counter was just the start. Only 2 registers and one not in use so even tho there wasn't a huge line, it was painfully slow, painful to see the exchange of repeating an order so many times with the person in front of me. I asked if they would open the other register and they said no, I guess not in a rude way, but like I don't care kind of way. The taco's were ho hum, not as full as I remember, some really skimpy. I tried this location for KFC and had a similar customer experience. I think the combining of the two is a terrible idea unless you you can train your staff to be way more accommodating, faster and friendly. read more

We bought the $5 box, but the person taking the order did not let us know they were out of several components of the box. I visited this KFC/Taco Bell recently. Having used the drive-thru before, I decided to go inside, hoping that my order would be correct. Having given my order 7 times (three piece meal), Yes, 7 times, I had to ask for the manager. Who would think that it would go down-hill from there? I repeated my order to Matt, the "Unit Manager" 3 more times. They did not have the chicken to fill my order and could not figure out what to do. I asked, What do you have?, and the young man pointed to the chicken behind the counter. The problem. These young, possibly high school age students have no attention span and have not been trained. What they do serve best is a child-like case of attitude. Try ordering something from the young lady with dramatic eye lashes on the Taco Bell side. Wow! I haven't eaten here in 7 months but my youngest son really wanted to try something on their menu. This again is the closest one to us and I was headed home after a day of running errands. I spoke to the regional manager 7 months ago and he reassured me that he was going to rectify this issue...... well I must say that this was the best experience yet. My 4month old daughter was asleep in the truck so I didn't want to get out. So begrudgingly I went through the drive through which was previously the worst part of this establishment by far! This time our three orders (I have 2 sons) were taken and was ready in minutes when I pulled up to the window. Great job! What the heck. My boyfriend and I ordered from this KFC Taco Bell combo and we both got chicken strip meal's. They told us we needed to wait for a minute so the food could be prepared but literally when we got our food it was cold. Further the french fries were hard cold and really gross. The chicken was terrible like I normally would eat fried food because it has a standard taste this wasn't even worth eating and I hadn't eaten anything all day. This is the worst fast food restaurant I have ever been to my boyfriend and I had to throw out all of our food we wanted to return it and complain but the inside was not open so there was really nothing we could do. I really would like to get a refund from this experience because it was literally money just down the drain and it was so bad.
