About helping me make a bad experience into a good one though there was a small miscommunication she assisted the help of one of her employees to help close the gap of communication regarding my concern I had a bad experience twice in the past I called her to help me make sure that didn't go this time she told me the best time to make an order so I can get the best quality food out of it I did made the purchase and it turned out very well although the typing of the app didn't allow my plates or utensils or the extras that I requested to come through the chicken was very good my recommendation is to try to call and work it out the best you can to see if they can follow through with trying to make your experience a good one. Really poor customer service. They continually want you to pull up to the first window, obviously there being timed and the time must not start until your at the second window, where you pay and get your order. Is this something the manager has you doing? The owners or corporate need to know this. Also, there's no overhang, cover or canopy when you order, and with all the rain we're getting my drivers side interior got quite wet. The have a lot to work on at this location. read more

This is only for their mobile app service. They have an app and a website where you have the wonder convenience of ordering your food. The app itself is fine, but KFC managed to remove all of the convenience from using a mobile app. The problem is that unlike every other fast food place, when you order via the app, you can't pick it up in the drive through. You either have to park and call a phone number for it to be brought out to you, or you have to park and go inside to get it. read more

Bad on so many levels ! I like the product . That said this location is horrible. Not just once but again and again. So bad that my wife and I resorted to drive through just to keep the frustrating interaction to a minimum. But this last experience has prompted me to say it in writing. ( not swamped but lets say busy) A VERY nice , friendly young lady took my order . I could tell she was stressed but she was really trying her best. The place was a real MESS . all kinds of trash on the floor. I did notice the the root beer was out ! (how does that happen at a KFC / A&W ?) OK ill make another choice. Pepsi is also out !. The young man who eventually started putting my order together . He was clearly "sour" and "Pissed off", put one order of chicken together and put it on the counter . it sat there for a good 10 min while he finished up other orders. then he put the 2nd 1/2 of my order together. When he called my name he had got the order wrong (subbed corn for Mash) so he literally tossed the container of mash on the back counter and went to slop some corn in a container . It was less than 1/2 full. I was ready to just get out of there. He handed me my bagged order and didn't look at me or say a thing. I said "excuse me" to get his attention and said "thank you" . no response at all and he turned back around. I got his attention again by saying "excuse me young man" then word for word this is what I said: " I understand that you must be short handed and that must really suck. I have watched you slam things around and after the 4 people in front of me said thank you to you, remember we are the customers... you said nothing to any of them. I just said thank you and you rudely just turned away. I expect a thank you ... I think you usually say what the order is when you bag it up. You sir, are a RUDE DICK WITH A BAD ATTITUDE and if you cant treat your customers in a good manner you should be fired !" He said nothing and 2 folks waiting and 1 in line clapped ... Stayed in the hotel next-door on Saturday night 3/19/22, was able to get a couple of rootbeer floats at 930pm. I'm a truck driver so I do not have a vehicle that can go through drive thru. The restaurant had their lobby closed and only assisting drive thru customers. They did assist me on the 19th but the next day sunday the 20th at 1255pm, I went back and the lady behind the counter did not greet me for a few minutes and when she saw me she told me it was going to be a few minutes and when I said ok she told me no it's gonna be a while, we have to help drive thru and there is a long line. So I walked out and there were 2 cars in the drive thru.my nephew took me in his car to order, there was one car at the pickup window and the other at the speaker to order which he waited 8 mins for them to take his order. I was next and they came to the speaker and said it would be one Second which was like 4 mins and when i ordered the rootbeer freeze float they said the ice cream machine was broken. In the mean time the Truck in front of me pulled up to window and the lady working the window had him back up off the meter. I guess for some reason this KFC has registers that havent been updated since 1973, because when i ask to put cash down and then the rest on card i get met with "oh no you have to figure that out your self." that isnt my job as a customer and you as the cashier should know that math when i ask. Plus that attitude from the woman that was at the window (who i assume was an experienced employee, if not a supervisor) was not service friendly, as who took my order was friendly and props to him. There's no way for me to go though the drive through twice without having to pull out of the drive through onto the main road, only turning right, to then have to drive down the street and make a u turn to make another u turn. Okay I tried 5 times to just do this review for A&W Root beer which is a shared business with KFC. For A&W menu I ordered the papa burger combo from the drive thru, again no line, as a matter of fact I was the only car in the drive thru, that should have told me pass by this place. Anyhow I did order the Papa burger combo. But let set the scene first. After you get your order from the drive thru you have to leave the area and it's a one way right turn out! Got my order went on my way parked in the shade near a local shopping center to eat. First off I notice that my burger in the bag did not appear wrapped, it was more like balled up in the wrapper. I moved the fries to side to go at my papa burger and to my surprise the spread they use well half of it was on the outside of the bun? Looked as if someone just slopped it on there. Not to mention it was a double cheese burger with a ton of salt. Every bite you could taste the salt, the french fries where the same way. I would have went back and gotten my money back! But ya can't... ya have to right turn outta there! I ate what I could around the dressing spread out over the entire bun and through the rest in the garbage where it belonged. Fast food restaurants didn't screw people around like this in the old days and on top of everything else everyone pretends like it was a mistake? I'm so sorry, no your not! This KFC is a good example of why you should read the actual reviews, and not just go by the number of stars. One lady gave them 1 star complaining that her chicken wasn't ready when she got to the drive up window, but she's still coming here after 6 years, because "the cook is the best". Another gave 1 star because they were out of crispy dark meat at 8 pm on a Monday. Here's what I want to know; how's the food? How's the service? And if the food is really good, then the service doesn't need to be perfect frankly. I've been to this KFC more than a few times now. The food has been good, and the staff is always friendly. This last time I had to wait a whole 5 minutes for my food, for which they apologized and asked if I minded waiting, it was hot & fresh. I just wish my Pepsi didn't taste like root beer. I'm not an enormous fan of KFC because I'm not an enormous fan of fried chicken; however, the customer service I received from last night's experience at this particular KFC I am definitely a fan of. I went through the drive through around 5:30 last night, and because I ordered their doubleliciuos sandwich I was told to pull around to the front of the restaurant because the sandwich is made to order. I have no problem with that, the only thing was that exiting the drive thru means a right turn only, which in turn means making two U-turns just to make it back to the front. I pull up to the front, and after about ten minutes of waiting I decided to just step inside and pick it up myself. The woman who originally took my order noticed me come in and immediately apologized and informed me that my order was coming right up. A minute later the man who also helped me at the drive thru handed me my food, and he also apologized. Even though the apologies weren't necessary you can tell they were genuine which makes all the difference. The bell for good customer service was definitely being rung that night. The sandwich was pretty amazing as they said. It was definitely not one of my healthiest decisions I've ever made, with the crispy chicken, bacon, and cheese; however, who goes to KFC for health reasons anyways, right? Even though I miss mojo potato type fries they were just OK, but the buttery biscuits are always a good addition. My husband and I received great service from Maria after the horrible incident with the KFC located on Monument Blvd. This is a KFC/AW joint who serves ORIGINAL CHICKEN along with extra crispy and etc. The ORIGINAL KFC way. David ordered three piece chicken meal and I just mooched off a piece of chicken from him and ordered myself a rootbeer float. It was delicious. I haven't had a rootbeer float in a longtime. I walked into the KFC on Clayton Rd at 8pm. The restaurant closed at 10pm. I went to order an extra crispy 12 piece meal and was told they were out and were not making any more chicken. I said it was 8pm? There was 2 hours left before they closed. The woman behind the counter checked with the cook and i heard him say no! So I thanked her and said goodbye. This is very poor attitude for a fast food company to have and they will never get my business again. It's an absolute shame that the customer is treated like this. This place should be closed or ran by a manager who can hire workers who cherish a job and want to serve customers like a fast food industry worker should. This being a KFC and A&W, the menu is freakin' huge! And being an A&W, the highlight has got to be the root beer float. I love the fountain for root beer, totally makes the float a bargain when refilling multiple times. There's a bell at the door that you can ring and the service will thank you, it's a standard that I seen in many KFC/A&W around the area. This location is owned by Harman Group, which owns many KFC, A&W, Pizza Huts around the Bay Area and many places on the West Coast, they always do a great job in making their locations look clean. read more

Been here on a few occasions, but tonight was horrible. The manager is clueless. They could not get my order right. I was blown away by her rudeness. I pointed out that the order was wrong on my receipt. She acted like I was trying to pull a fast one. She would not listen to what I was trying to simply explain to her. She proceeded to return my money and asked me to reorder. I said fine. I was shocked when she started explaining the menu to me as if I could not read English. If I could rate this KFC/A&W 0 stars I would. Wait times are ridiculous, customer service is non existent, and every time I have ordered food here I am missing items or receive the wrong item entirely. The last time I was in I ordered via the drive through. No other cars were in the drive through and to my knowledge this store is closed to in store ordering. After waiting about 7 minutes for my drink and small cheese curds I pull up to the window and the employee rudely says to me next time you should mobile order. So I did, this time I mobile ordered waited about 10 minutes and decide to use their walk up mobile order pickup service. When I arrived there was an employee standing at the counter who completely ignored me even after i mentioned having a mobile order. After a couple of minutes another employee had walked up and asked me about my order. After checking he noted the order had not been started and they would need about 10 minutes to complete the order. After about 10 minutes another employee walks up and asked what the name on my order was and then quickly says "oh we don't have it". After another 5 minutes or so of them figuring out what the miscommunication was i finely get my order. When I get home 2 of the 3 items were wrong. read more
