Based on our visit yesterday around 6pm, I recommend avoiding this location. We ordered some Extra Crispy Chicken and there was nothing crispy about it. It was Extra Greasy though. My fiance, who LOVES KFC didn't even want to eat it after the first couple bites. What a waste. Unfortunately, the service was even worse. The cashier tried to overcharge us twice. I don't think it was on purpose. I think she was possibly new and possibly lacked the basic math skills to notice the tab was way off. After the second go-around the shift manager came over and instead of apologizing and fixing our tab she kept arguing with me that it was right. Even after I broke down the very simple math for our chicken-only order she still wouldn't listen and kept saying I'm wrong and the difference was "the tax". Sorry, lady. Tax is not 25%. You are overcharging us for the food. At this point we were running late and holding up the line, so we paid the bogus tab and left never to return. Do yourself a favor and go to the Popeye's Chicken two minutes down the street. Their chicken was cooked just right. UPDATE I was sent a free meal voucher to give this location a second chance. I no longer go to this specific spot. I've ordered root beer floats on several occasions and found them to have just teaspoon of ice cream. When I asked for more ice cream, I was told there was an extra charge. Since I wanted a good float, I paid the extra $. So I got two teaspoons of ice cream. Really felt cheated. Whoever owns this restaurant should change their philosophy toward customers or they won't have any. The consumer has too many other choices when deciding where to eat. read more

After leaving the KFC store on Monument because "They had no chicken", I proceeded to the Clayton Rd store where I ordered a 10 piece bucket, 1/2 grilled and 1/2 extra crispy. All seemed well, until I got home. I got the 10 piece bucket, 1/2 grilled and 1/2 extra crispy but no breasts and no wings. Well, being a good Yelper, I saw how inconsistent the KFCs were in the area and drove an extra 15 minutes to go to the best reviewed location. The staff was very friendly and attentive. However, the food was awful. Cold, dry, and soggy. Not good fried chicken. But, the worst offense was ordering some of the Bites, only to have one of them not even be meat! I love KFC. BUT pretty much every time I go the employees have no customer service skills. I understand it's fast food but at least talk to me like a human being. I remember i went one time and they were completely out of grilled chicken. Like they hadn't ordered any. This alone raises like a billion questions. Then another day I just wanted an apple pie and the man said that it will take 8 minutes because no one really orders them. I actually think of this more as the A&W that happens to have a KFC inside. I'm not the biggest fried chicken person, but I really like the side dishes at KFC, so this is the best combination ever. However after knowing that I was using a coupon, the cake all of a sudden became "sold" already and was offered...two Apple turnovers or six cookies, or two tiny cake....none of these equate to close to the amount of the family cake size....when asked why they cant offer at least four tiny cake or four Apple turnovers...was told that the tiny cakes we're about 2.99 each and the family cake was 6.00....so they can only offer what the value of the family cake was...to top it off they "forgot" to give me my receipt...too many shadiness happening in this place specially when using a coupon that is mailed to your house???? I have been here a billion of times ands never had a problem till today. I went through the drive thru for my grandmother and she gave me a hundred dollar bill to purchase her family meal she wanted. I handed the cashier who was a male the money and a woman came back claiming my money was FAKE !!!!! Never in my life do I tolerate horrible costumer service. This woman had attitude with me since she thought my money was fake and she expected me to just leave and I said "I have my card". After calling my grandmother telling her what happened, she told me to go to the bank to find out. I went to the bank and my money was REAL. Long story short my father and I called back this KFC to ask them what would happen after they found out the money real and given to the police because they didn't take down my number or name or address to reach us. LUCKILY they gave me my grandma's money back after having to fight with them. My father and I asked for the district managers number and they all claimed they can't give out employees names and the district managers number. WHICH IS A LIE !!!! Last night I went through the drive-through at KFC on Clayton Road. It was a Friday night around 8:30 PM. I was trying to get the $20 fill up, which I guess is eight pieces of chicken. Tried to order the original and the person at the drive-through told me that they're running low on chicken and this was 830 at night on a Friday night.so I did say something about that and he told me that corporate has them not making a lot of chicken. Or something like that. Anyways I thought it was good for people to know about this. Today I called and talked to the manager and he didn't interact in my phone call at all and that the end stated I can't understand what you were saying. So obviously that didn't help.
