These are the worst wings that I have EVER consumed and I'm still trying to figure out how this place is still in business?! Had a rare craving for chicken wings one night and remembered that I still hadn't tried this spot. Dropped by and the place was completely empty. That was the first warning that I ignored. Walked up to the counter and there was nobody at the register. Took a few minutes to look at the menu and noticed that there were only wing meals or party wing packs. Finally called out to see if someone was there, and a young gentleman came out to the front. I asked him if they served wings a la carte in a smaller size and not a party pack, but he said they didn't. Kind of disappointing but whatever. Looked again at the menu and noticed that the prices were kind of high for the bone in wing meals. For reference; for 8 bone in wings + a side and drinks it's $17. Maybe I'm cheap, but that just seems pricey to me. Especially since I really just wanted wings without the sides and drink. Decided to order the boneless wing combo for a better value. Got the 10 piece wing combo (Thai chili and garlic parmesan) and a side of tots. I think my first mistake was ordering boneless wings. When I saw them in the box, I was already disturbed. They were like hella tiny chicken nuggets but worse. First of all, who the hell prepares garlic parmesan wings like this? The "parmesan" shreds were literally thrown on top and definitely weren't fresh. Tried the wings they were friggin' TERRIBLE! Dry AF and clearly overcooked. They also had that freezer burn taste which clearly indicated to me that they had been frozen and for a while. Also despite all of those parmesan shreds, they tasted damn near completely flavorless. The Thai chili wings were gross too. Not enough rub and they were also hella dry. The dips didn't help at all either. Literally couldn't finish the wings. The tots were waaaay too salty and over fried. Like what in the faaack are these people doing back there in that kitchen? Because they certainly ain't cookin' sh!t back there. Literally threw everything away and got fast food that night. Wasn't trying to drive all the way back there for a refund or for them to remake it. When you know... you know. Waste of time and money. Still can't believe that they are charging for those wings. Maybe their bone in wings are better but I'm really not trying to find out after this experience. Skip it and FAST.

The menu has so many good sounding choices so it was hard to decide what to try for my first visit. I settled on the smothered pork chops meal and my friend decided to go with a conservative choice of a fried chicken meal. We placed our order and sat at one of the outside tables. One of the workers came out and gave us a Hot Link slider with french fries sample. The Hot Link slider was delicious and the fries were prepared the way excellent fries are made. The fries tasted like the ones that you quick fry, remove and then fry again. They were tender, great seasoning and a nice fried crunch. We both loved the sample more than our lunches The chicken came with two pieces of fried chicken, corn on the cob and my friend chose mac n cheese as his side dish and a corn bread muffin. He loved the Mac n cheese and the muffin which was very moist and tasted great. He thought the chicken was good, not real juicy or flavored but a good fried chicken. My smothered pork chops plate was huge, came with 2 good sized fried pork chops, corn on the cob and I chose potato salad and a roll. The pork chops were relatively tender, the gravy was a little more liquidity than what I normally eat, potato salad was a very good homemade side dish and the gravy over the rice was tasty. I would have preferred a more thicker traditional homemade brown gravy. I couldn't finish my order for lunch so I ended up getting two meals out of my lunch. We plan to go back to have the hot link and french fries. The menu has a wide variety so we'll have go back a couple of times to try some of the other dishes. Service is excellent and you get generous portions. Visit Frickin Fried for good home style comfort food.

There was a pretty good amount of staff (or what felt like it) None of the regular crew besides one, but it wasn't super busy and most of the bar area was empty-save for maybe 2-3 other parties. We ordered, i got a 12 piece and my friend got a 20 piece. Mine came out first and it was a little cold. Small pieces of chicken, some were just like little left over batter pieces. I got honey bbq and lemon pepper (the new seasoning is good) There was barely any sauce on it and it was boneless so I think those really need the sauce more. My friend was waiting for his food for probably 10-15 mins after mine. The waitress didn't tell us there was a hold up and when i finally flagged her down she said she already knew. That the chef was making a fresh batch (which explains why I felt like mine was cold and the scraps) He finally got his food and he said it was good, his pieces were definitely bigger and looked fresher. All in all, i felt like either my waitress or more staff members had no sense of urgency so im disappointed. And my wings came out dry.

This past weekend I got a chance to try it with my boyfriend, who's already had it once before. We decided to go in around 8pm on a Saturday. We weren't able to get past their automated answer choices, so we decided to take a risk and go in. Upon arrival, it was a joy to see that there was not many people eating as well as no waitlist to be seated. We got seated immediately by what seems to be the restaurant manager. He was nice and made us feel welcome. Our server for the night whom I forgot the name of, was sweet and responsive to our needs as well! We were pleasantly surprised by how empty the restaurant was. We both ordered burgers, which my bf had recommended to me based on the one other time he came. Our food came out so quickly, I would say just around 10 minutes! I got their "Eureka! American" with cheddar cheese rather than swiss. Oh my gosh, it was one of the best burgers I've had! It was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. My bf got the Bacon Jalapeño Jam Burger which he liked, but said the bread was almost too sweet for his liking. It's also worth noting that their bathrooms were super clean and taken care of, which is usually not the case at these type of restaurants. I can't wait to come back and try their truffle fries next!
