Ive tried a few menu items here over the years and it is mostly a standard KFC location. However, they are extremely stingy with drinks, in particular requesting no ice on drinks, and for that reason I would suggest visiting a different location. I asked for no ice on a soda, and the lady in the drive thru speaker said it would be fine. Then i pick the soda up at the pickup window, i get a soda that has some ice in it.. I ask the guy "I asked for no ice on this", his response was something like "we still put a little bit of ice in it", and he smiled. Im not sure if he was a manager or just a worker. I drank the soda, and then found out half of the entire cup was actually filled with ice. This is incredibly stingy and shameful. You can go to any of KFC's competitors; Wendys, Mcdonalds, Burger King, Popeyes, chic fil A, etc, and all these places will gladly provide you no ice on their drinks at no upcharge. In fact, they are even willing to provide no ice on their lemonade drinks- their lemonade drinks do not even offer free refills unlike normal sodas and still they will allow you to get no ice on them and not charge extra. So it is very stingy for KFC to do this, im not sure if jts just this location or a company wide policy, but its just a bad look for them to do this especially when all their competitors dont do it. Soda should have free complementary refills as well as no ice options available- most these places are charging pretty high prices for a cup of soda to begin with- but even places like McD's who sell large cups of soda for like $1.60, still allow you to get it with no ice. Another thing I will add is that some of the employees here have no idea about online orders or online exclusive items... on a different occasion I pulled up and asked if they have the new honey chili crisp snacker available.. and the guy at the drive thru speaker claims they didnt... so I left. Then just a day or two later I saw it on the KFC mobile app and it was marked digital exclusive or something like that.. and then successfully ordered it at this same location... its a digital exclusive item sure but I would think employees should still have a basic idea of what items they are offering especially limited edition items that are being advertised everywhere and only available for a temporary amount of time. This employee acted like he had no idea what the sandwich was when they actually carried it in their store. I have already been avoiding KFC in general... I only go there 2 or 3 times a year if they have some interesting limited edition types of items.. Looks like I will continue to do that and also avoid this location. read more

This location WILL NOT cook a chicken breast for you....I went in and ordered for my family. After waiting for 10 minutes, a male employee came and told me that it would take 15-20 minutes for my chicken breast (that I'd ordered 10 minutes ago). I said that was ok. He said "the rest of your order is already done (it was a large order for a family of 4) I still said I'd wait. 15 minutes later he asked again if I'd just like another piece of meat since it will take so long for the breast (I'd already ordered 30 minutes ago, so it should've been done by now) I said "it's ok, I will wait." I waited another 20 minutes. I was there nearly an hour (they clearly kept forgetting to start frying it or maybe purposely did because they were annoyed? Who knows, they seemed high) for 1 chicken breast, everything else was ice cold. I hadn't been back since, but tonight was craving a chicken breast so decided to order it via delivery. They sent a thigh instead of a breast (even though a breast costs more). Thighs and wings have barely any meat on them. My husband had reminded me that this had also happened the last time we tried ordering delivery from there. They have the chicken breasts (it's a freaking CHICKEN PLACE for God's sake) but won't be inconvenienced to cook you one. It's ridiculous. read more

Wish I could say I loved the Colonels recipe. Am not sure why, no it's not just this location, but Popeyes is better fried chicken. To their credit I like the tenders. The price is high, but we are in a period of inflation. They do have some decent sides as well. I like that you get all the drink refills you want, and there are some positive attributes. I like how clean this restaurant is. Absolutely immaculate. You will be happy with this, and seating is quite comfortable. It hasn't yet got too crazy busy either. A lot here go through the drive thru, and I have several times with good service. My hats off to the staff. Every employee here is friendly, efficient, and I'm grateful for them. read more

Clean location BUT one of the employees did not wash his hands as he left the bathroom. GROSS! Sad as the location is promising. Otherwise, the location was decent, with plenty of parking. Orders were fast as we placed them online before driving over and eating the "takeout" order on site. This is one of your typical KFC/Taco Bell hybrid stores. I like that there were plenty of condiments left out for you to grab without having to ask anyone. Minus 3 stars due to employee cleanliness. read more

Note: this is a KFC/Taco Bell, not just KFC. This place saved my life one night. I did not know their hours, but because taco bell is generally open late I wasn't overly concerned. I was starving, and went into the drive thru maybe a minute or two past ten. The automated message went off and I realized my error. Just as I was about to drive off further in search of dinner (not easy in Northern Virginia at this hour) a real human voice came through! Got my order no problem, and very friendly staff. One of the worst kfc around 1 year ago they didn't have any cooked chicken 1/2 before they closed. Today ordered a 3 piece meal with extra crispy. When I got to the window I was told they didn't have any extra crispy legs. I said that was fine. I got all original and no plastic utensils. And they still charged me for the extra crispy. What a confusing mess. Door is only for grubhub and online mobil ordering. If you try to order through the app it says this location doesn't accept it. Went through drive through window. Lady was nice and repeated order back. She is the reason for any stars. Confusing is you have to leave drive through window and go around. You see a back door. No sign. Went to the front . Had to turn around looking for lady bringing out food. And they forgot our drink. $37 dollars for a 12 piece bucket with 3 large sides. I prefer other places but my wife insisted I go here because that's what the kids want. They really like the mac and choose and mashed potatoes. I tell the family that you get fried chicken for the chicken but whatever. !2 piece, you expect 3 breast, 3 wings, 3 drumsticks, 3 thighs. What did I get (when I open the bucket at home because its only drive thru now. 7 breasts, 2 drumsticks, 3 wings. No one answers the phone when you call. Unfortunately, they significantly ripped us off on a side of corn (see picture); it was not even half full. The chicken did not seem to be that crispy even though we asked for extra crispy. I look at all my kfc meals, not a single biscuit. I forgot to order a meal at the speaker, tried to order at the window only to be told I could not. So I came into this KFC and 1. Doors were locked at 12:30 at noon 2. No sign indicating why they were locked (with customers inside) 3. When a CUSTOMER let me in the manager Kanu proceeded to get disrespectful about why they let me in 4. I was understanding about them being short staffed and suggested that if he had time to come and be disrespectful (for a solid 5 minutes) he had time to write a sign 5. Stopped in for a change of pace from Popeye's and that was probably a mistake! The drive up line was long and slow and with that long of a wait I expected the food to be fresh. The chicken was dried out like it had been sitting quite a while. Our bags were packed so hastily that the biscuits were smashed and the cole slaw was upside down, leaking the sauce all over everything.The popcorn chicken was good. Currently offering drive-thru but no dining room. Drive thru yesterday ordering a 3 piece box -extra crispy-with two sides and two chicken sandwiches. Paid. Handed my order and drove home. Not one item was correct. The chicken was one piece-roasted-BOTH sides were wrong. One sandwich -spicy. I was unwilling to invest another hour round trip plus waiting in a line of cars, so it was a 100% bust. Pulled up to the ol' KFC Taco Bell combo restaurant in search of some cheap eats. Got the rolled chicken taquitos, which came out just fine. Easily one of the best seasonal items Taco Bell has rolled out in some time. Tried to order a unsweetened Ice Tea, but they were all out. Oh well. But the real disappointment manifested itself when I arrived back home to examine the tostada I had ordered. It was, perhaps, the worst assembled tostada I had ever seen. Upon opening the box, I first noticed how sparsely the refried beans had been applied. It was like when you order a bagel, but you're watching your figure, so you ask them to go light on the cream cheese. Maybe this Taco Bell location is in short supply of refried beans, and they don't have the luxury to just be giving them out willy nilly to their customers. There were a few scrapings of iceburg lettuce, and even less shredded yellow cheese on top of my already disappointing tostada. Add to that: one single squirt of chipotle sauce that deceptively made it look like my tostada was smiling. The diced tomatoes? Well, it looked like they landed at the box after being pitched from across the kitchen. I like to imagine a second Taco Bell employee used the tostada box as a catcher's mit, while a third employee swung and missed at the child's handful of diced tomatoes with a rolled chicken taquito. Strike 3! No but seriously, strike 2, guys. This is the second time I've had to write a negative review about your location. Please don't skimp on small things. The chicken is always cold and greasy, the Mac and Cheese tastes like wood pulp, and the mashed potatoes and gravy reminds me of industrial byproducts. So assuming that the machine was broken, I went to the window only to be told that there's a long line, clearly, and I should go back around the corner and get back in line or go inside the store to order. To be honest, I am laughing as I write this. I went in to this KFC at about 120pm to get lunch. It was not crowded, maybe four people waiting for orders, no one at the counter, so I waited. The young man came in , asked me to wait and went to take an order from the window. Me? I am not in a rush, but logic would be that you have a person on counter, and another on window. So he came back, took my order and repeated it. In that time period, two other prior orders came back wrong, lol, not just a little but totally wrong. They gave away another order to the wrong person. So I was not expecting much at that point. When my order came, some of the people were still waiting. Here is where I started to laugh, I ordered three pieces, mash potatoes and a drink. What I got was Two pieces, Potato wedges and slaw! When I pointed it out to the guy that seemed to be in charge, he seem to get upset that I was complaining, I guess he thought I got more sides, so it made up for the less chicken, who knows.
