Hey, KFC is a product that everyone knows so I won't bore you with chicken-was-crispy details. We ordered through Yelp and glory be, the timeliness couldn't have been better. The cost is rather prohibited when you like white meat and your dining partner likes thighs so you go a la carte. And I don't know what those poor chickens did to have such tiny wings (at about $3 each)! Nevertheless, a trip to KFC is an occasional yet consistent choice for us. read more

The evening manager, 5pm 10/7 was incredibly rude. I had placed an online order and had to get out of my car to come in because they couldn't find it. She refused to look at my order number. Oh no not another KFC review! Well unfortunately since I left a nice review about the one in Canton I wanted to leave this one because we tried to go to the Bristol one a couple weeks back but things didn't pan out. Upon pulling up to the drive through we sat waiting. Figured out what we wanted to order and then waited some more. Beeped and said hello maybe 2 or 3 times. Still nothing. Pulled to the window. No one there to greet us. Overall it felt like an hour but in reality it was probably little more than 5 minutes. After having received no service we decided to leave. Thanks for nothing folks. Previous to this day the service had always been pretty bad. Food was horrible, slow service and in some cases downright rude people. No thanks! read more

This KFC has been on the skids the entire time I've been in Connecticut (6 years). I walked in & wasn't even greeted for a solid two minutes.....& I was the only other person in the store. Once I was greeted, it was "oh hello," & he turned & walked away! The building is nice & clean, but that's about it. The food was lacking, the "customer service" was laughable at best. I came here because my wife wanted it. Next time, we're eating what I decide on. Oh, & no cookies with my $5 Fill-Ups. Needless to say my 5-year-old was a bit sad. read more

The Bristol KFC has a Buffet! KFC locations with buffets are popular in the Southern and Midwest states, but are a rare find in the Northeast. There are a few KFC locations in CT and ME which still offer the buffet at a reasonable price. Where I live in NH, there are plenty of KFCs where I can go for that "finger lickin' goodness" but none of them have a buffet. There used to be several KFC locations in Upstate NY which offered the Buffet back in the 1990s including in Guilderland and Poughkeepsie, both are now closed. This KFC location is located on US 6 next to Yankee Harley Davidson. This restaurant with drive-thru offers the standard KFC menu items, fill-up boxes, combos, plus the AYCE Buffet for $6.79 (adults), $5.39 (seniors), $4.29 (kids 4-12) and $2.99 (kids 3 & under), dine-in only, prices in 2016. The buffet hours are 11AM to 8PM. On Sun-Wed, the AYCE Buffet is $6.49 with small fountain drink included. The Pepsi fountain drinks are self-serve. I made a special trip to the Bristol KFC for a mid-afternoon Sunday lunch, so I could get the AYCE Buffet, which I haven't had in over a year. The AYCE Buffet with a Small Drink, which came out to $6.90 with tax, on special. I was given a soda cup and styrofoam dinner plate and bowl. Help myself! The AYCE Buffet is setup at the counter past the registers, which offers a decent selection of hot and cold items including original fried chicken, extra crispy fried chicken, grilled chicken, BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, Kentucky baked beans with pulled chicken, green beans, carrots & peas, niblet corn, mac & cheese, chicken noodle soup, biscuits, macaroni salad, potato salad, cole slaw, cottage cheese, lettuce, dressing packets, pickle slices, chocolate pudding, vanilla pudding, bread pudding and more. You're given plastic plate(s) after you pay then help yourself. Ask for a clean styrofoam plate & bowl on return trips to the buffet. The food was the standard tasty and filling KFC fare, nothing fancy. The buffet was stocked minimally during the mid-afternoon. The vegetables were very soft which were sitting in very hot water for a while. The lettuce was barely fresh. The fried chicken on the buffet was pretty good, which was replenished during my visit. The restaurant dining room and even the men's restroom was remarkably clean. I wish the Buffet was brought back to more KFC locations in the northeast (NH?), but I'd probably make it a habit to eat at KFC more than I already do now. 3 STAR rating is based on the food. read more

This is the best KFC I've ever been to! The customer service here is outstanding. They were so warm and welcoming upon arrival, and so sweet towards my young daughter. KFC has lost my business. I guess it used to have a buffet. It doesn't anymore. I've been there multiple times, you get dried put chicken that has been under a heat lamp for hours, and hours. I know at some point they are supposed to throw out the chicken after it has been a few hours, but this store no! Last time I went there was 3 days ago. I got the 12 piece. I got 5 desiccated wings, and a mixed bag of chicken jerky. my full price side in the tiny mac and cheese containers, no gravy. This is not the first time go this kind of bullshit. Went to the KFC on Wednesday 5/10/2017 for the third time I the year that I have been in Bristol the person behind the counter had the personality of a wet sponge paid for the buffet and was given the plate bowl cup the first section was the cold section it did not look to appealing the only thing that look good was the cole slaw had some of that it was ok but seem a little old gotten two pieces of chicken they only put drumsticks and tries no breat or kiels in the buffet the other hot items looked like they were in there for a long time there was this thing that looked like a desert but it was these square things had not taste at all when I sat down I could smell like a old dirty dish rag that had gone moldy I figure it must have been the rag that they used to clean the tray with cause it was still wet on the bottom I will not be returning for there buffet ever again . read more

On 9/3 1:15pm in Bristol, CT I ordered the 6 piece bucket for $10, a favorite I purchase about once a week. It was a simple question when I was handed a box instead of a bucket, that the appearance was not what I expected and perhaps it wasn't my order. The cashier laughed and mockingly said it doesn't have to come in a bucket. It's six pieces of chicken. Fine, that is easily understood, if you don't enrage the customer by mocking the question. I didn't expect it and the fool-hardy, attitude that I was stupid, because I questioned if it was my order, based solely on packaging was a slow burn. GOOD customer service is to simply say, no buckets and we packed it in a box. apologies for the surprise. No problem I tho't it was the wrong order. But the howling grin and mocking words are rebuked and unwelcome. Perhaps the great genius cashing my $20 dollar bill might have understood that pissing off a customer is a retail-sin and punishable by boycotting a business that hires low character mockers for help. Always check your order! If you go through the drive thru which I always do at lunch as I have limited time, they will inevitably forget something that goes with the order. I generally order the same thing and go about twice a month. I get the 5.00 fill up with tenders. It comes with 3 tenders, a biscuit, mashed potato with gravy, a cookie and a soda. I don't drink soda so I always ask for an extra biscuit (my guilty pleasure) First time they forgot the honey mustard which was not a huge deal. Second time, they forgot the extra biscuit (which is a big deal to me cause I love them) Then the next two times, they forgot the cookie. This time it was the mashed potato. I should have known to check but I was in a hurry and didn't. If this happens again, I will not go there anymore. I am getting annoyed now since I pay the same price each time. I hope they get their act together cause they are NEVER busy, even at peak times. They should do a good job on the few customers they wait on at lunch...sheesh! read more
