Beyond their routine of care and presence, they helped a customer who took a hard fall outside the cafe. Customers helped, too, but the waitstaff showed up with compassion, concern, ice and bandages. I'm sorry someone trip and fell hard, but it was wonderful to watch the care for this person and their friends. I'm impressed by their humanity and will be back to enjoy fresh food and their wonderful vibes.

My husband and I happened upon this place last month on our first trip to the Keys for a friend's wedding. What a gem! We tend to eat smaller breakfasts and were looking for a quick bite and coffee. We each had croissant sandwiches with coffee and I had a fresh handmade apple juice. Everything was perfect and the juice was out of this world. We wanted to try this place for couple months and finally made it. It's very small place with great coffee and sandwich menu. My cortadito was great, capri sandwich (spinach, eggs, mozzarella and tomatoes on croissant) was fresh and delicious. Prices are great too. Wow! The best coffee I tried for a long time in Key West for sure. The name talks for itself, they have a good verity of different coffees, hot and cold. My son ordered a white chocolate latte. Both drinks were good. Personally, I prefer coffee served in a mug, and they only use paper cups, which took away a bit from the experience. They don't offer much in the way of baked goods, but they did have butterscotch scones. The scone was slightly too sweet for my taste, but the texture was excellent. They heated it for us, which made it even more enjoyable. Service: The service was exceptionally friendly. We felt genuinely welcomed, and the owner took the time to have a conversation with us. After hearing his story and seeing his commitment and work ethic firsthand, I found myself rooting for his success. Atmosphere: Since they share space with the ice cream shop, the environment isn't fully coffee-centric. Coffee is the focus earlier in the day, with ice cream taking over later. There is limited seating, and for me, part of the coffee shop experience is slowing down, drinking from a proper mug, and enjoying a calm, dedicated café environment. I'm not sure what their long-term plans are, but I hope they eventually move into their own space. They clearly care about what they're doing, and it would be great to see them grow into a full coffee shop experience. Best of luck to them.
