İnan not the coconut juice fun! But it was really cold and after walid'e under the sun it was good Next time I wanna try pinapple one it was looks funcy! The stuff not looks very happy! No smile at all. I was going to buy a few more things but I preferred to buy somewhere else.

Also ordered a vanilla soft serve ice cream with Oreo toppings pretty pricey for what you get. Their acai bowls are $13.75, the big huge disappointment is they water down the acai fruit. I specifically came for the acai and the fact it was watered down to where you cannot taste the acai is not good. It was a light purple and acai that has flavor should be a deep purple. The good part was the toppings and honey they used was good and fresh, so if this was a fruit granola bowl this would have gotten a 4, but since it was an acai bowl a 2 is appropriate.

    Pina Colada in the Pineapple!

Despite its name, they make a delicious drink. Its a small spot with big flavors. If youre craving a sweet drink in a pineapple...you've got the spot. Service was solid, and the general vibe was cafe casual.

Stopped in because we love some boba! I should've asked about what type of boba because it was the exploding pearls and I'm not a big fan of that. I like the tapioca kind more personally. The drink itself was basic and not something we were a fan of. Got Very Berry and the Macha Blueberry. I wouldn't recommend either. Don't think I'll be coming back.

My husband and I saw the clever name and figured we had to check in here. It's a little expensive for what it is but we were thirsty. The boba sign caught my eye so we both ordered boba tea. They don't use the powders so they are vegan, which is cool. They use almond milk or dairy milk. I wanted half tapioca pears and half popping boba but ended up asking them to make me just popping boba because the tapioca pearls weren't fully cooked (and they used way too much ice in a small cup for $9). I think there were only two staff members working so it was pretty busy, I was surprised to hear that they've only been open for a week. They also offer yogurt parfaits, chia pudding, acai bowls, frozen yogurt, flat breads and some other breakfast/brunch/lunch items. I think they have some improvements to make but it's a cute little business, I hope they make it!

food was amazing, person taking order was a little bit on edge, and he didn't seem like he wanted to be there! I LOVED the bowl i got, but it could've been a better experience.

Avacado Toast Melt w/ iced Vanilla latte

The food was okay at best. The avocado in the bagel wasn't very fresh. The hot and iced coffee tastes like gas station coffee. My brother's frappe tastes the same but with larger chunks of ice. The mediocre food gave it an extra star but the customer service was absolutely horrible. The man working there was extremely rude when ordering and explaining if we had any questions. Wouldn't recommend if you're in the Keys. Atleadt the chickens by the place are friendly. There are much better

Was quite parched walking down Duval and my wife was intrigued by the boba sign, which sounded refreshing. We walked in and there was quite a line but it seemed to go fairly quickly. I decided on the Matcha Blueberry Boba but ended up switching with my wife because it was unsweetened and her Blue Dragon Boba was sweeter. Both drinks were quite expensive IMO, considering it was quite a small cup with lots of ice. When my wife asked, she was told that this place just opened so it explains that things aren't quite tooling smoothly yet. They seem to have a lot of options for both drinks and food and the menu looked pretty good, even for breakfast, bunch or lunch. I don't think I'd recommend the boba but they also have fresh juices, frozen yogurt, acai bowls and other drinks as well as flatbreads, sandwiches, bagels and avocado toast if you're hungry. Would definitely recommend checking it out; plus it has a catchy name (if you're a parent, you'll understand lol).

I go that mango tango this is the best!

The guy who worked there was very unfriendly. He never said two words to us and the drink was really watered down. We do not recommend.

Açaí was delicious but they totally skimp you on product. If i'm paying $14.25 for an açaí bowl, the bowl shouldn't be 1/3 filled up.

I am a stickler though on the fact that I will refuse any specimen that is green in color since it's screams inauthentic. One of my local friends even handed me a coupon for this place, so it was one of three pie concoctions that we sampled during our vacation. Lucky us! The staff here are welcoming and able to handle crowds efficiently and kindly. The store is incredibly cute and has a wide array of Key lime products as well as souvenir type inventory. Great place to perhaps do one-stop shopping if customers are pressed for time or just don't like to spend time at multiple places. The pie was delicious. Tart, sweet, fresh, cool, refreshing, and nice crust. Highly recommend!

It's close to Mallory Square, and they even have their own space where the pies are made. I chatted briefly with the staff, and they told me that yes, this really is the place where it all started. They also mentioned that many other spots claiming to be "the original" actually get either their ingredients or their pies from here. Overall, it's a cute little spot. Besides pies, they sell cupcakes, coffee, and a variety of general goodies and touristy items. We grabbed a small, cozy two seater high table by the window and enjoyed their tart pie. And yes--be ready for that sharp tang that hits your jaw at first and then grows on you! There are benches outside too, and it felt peaceful sitting there. The pie costs $7.

Food: The one item that really stood out was the PB Fudge Cookie. It's a large peanut butter cookie with a thick layer of peanut butter fudge, topped with another thick layer of chocolate fudge. Yes, it's one big and delicious cookie. It's expensive at $12, but it's large enough to feed a family of six. There were other items that looked equally amazing, including the chocolate-dipped coconut macaroons. On another visit a couple of days later, we tried the Key lime pie, and it was excellent. The crust had a rich, buttery flavor and held together well. Instead of the traditional meringue topping, they used whipped cream, which was a nice touch. We even asked for extra. Service: The staff were friendly, helpful, and patient. We never felt rushed. Atmosphere: The shop is well lit, clean, and has an upbeat aesthetic. Mattheessen's is a place we would, and did, return to for a second visit.

But, that doesn't matter. Never mind the comically large cookies. They have excellent lemonade. They have excellent FROZEN lemonade. The decor is seductive in such a tasteful and classy way, everything is so romantic. It's beautiful. Cozy, intimate booths. Sparkling chandeliers flickering in candlelight. Ambient lighting. It is a perfect place to end your evening with your partner. We made reservations the morning of, on a Wednesday evening for our anniversary, and were seated promptly. Service was incredible from start to finish. I appreciate their ipad menus with questions to ask your partner, peruse the menu, and read about the origins. There are plenty of drinks and deserts with double entendre names, they're so fun. Huge positive that they have virgin drinks, and several to choose from. Both deserts we tried were out of the world delicious. The missionary crisp ice cream and flavor was 10/10, no notes to improve. Honestly too big, even for two. But they were trying to do something different. To know: they do not have a license for hard liquor. A fun spot to have a sweet treat. Maybe don't bring the kids.
