What a shockingly terrible experience. I'm in the market for a Lexus for my mother-in-law. My mother-in-law went to this dealership once on her own and mentioned they were slow and didn't seem nice. But we decided to go back because she may have gotten one bad rep, and that's not something to punish a dealership with if they have seemingly good reviews. But no, reader, it somehow got worse. We arrived and were connected with Tim. I let him know my ETA over text and had previously let them know the vehicle we were looking to test drive. We arrived and they had gotten the wrong vehicle ready (gas instead of hybrid). Fine, not the end of the world, but it took ages to get the correct hybrid vehicle there. Then, before we jumped in the vehicle, Tim started badgering my mother-in-law about why she should get a gas vehicle instead of a hybrid. When my mother-in-law mentioned she wanted the hybrid to get the better fuel economy, Tim tried to convince her that the gas would actually be better for her fuel economy in city driving. He even brought her a printout of the details for each vehicle (gas and hybrid) to prove his point...which actually did the opposite because the hybrid was clearly much better for fuel economy for city driving. When she pointed that out, he ignored her and kept talking about how he could get us a "deal" on a gas vehicle. Ugh, I get that he probably gets a higher commission on a gas vehicle, but c'mon, we're not interested in that model. Then came the drive. Tim could barely be bothered to answer basic questions about the vehicle. Gave us short answers. When we mentioned that we had tried vehicles at Audi and BMW earlier in the day as part of our search process, he talked down to us about how we clearly didn't know what car we wanted if we had visited two other dealers, and that when he was car shopping, he always knew the exact model he wanted. It was so weird, like why not try and extol the virtues of Lexus vs. the competition instead of being condescending? The awkward and insulting ride finally came to an end. And then, when we got back to the dealership, Tim exited the vehicle and went inside. Never said goodbye. Never checked on us. Despite it all, my mother-in-law actually loved the vehicle and we wanted to buy it. Until we realized Tim wasn't coming back. He was just inside the entrance talking to a few other employees. But I guess he couldn't be bothered to even see if we liked the vehicle or not. So after a few minutes, we just left and went down to Lexus of Glendale. I remain baffled at how a salesman didn't want to actually sell us anything. Was this some weird attempt at reverse psychology? All I can attribute it to is that maybe it's because I'm brown and my mother-in-law is black? I mean, my wife and I have been blessed with fantastic career success, but you can't really change your skin color I suppose. Truly a disappointing experience all around and, as my mother-in-law has been reminding me, we shouldn't have even given Keyes this second chance. Shop here at your own peril! read more

Most disappointing experience at a Lexus dealership: Lack of continuity in interlocutor: I went through the process of buying a L/certified vehicle: the online team did not provide any background on previous negotiation to the salesman which led to a loss of considerable time repeating steps. Sleazy sales tactics: Then they tried to up-sell with useless tire warranties and ceramic coating because "the finance people put it on the paperwork". Lies: I was paying cash and the salesman said they needed me to unfreeze my credit to do a soft credit check. As soon as I unfroze my credit, they performed a hard check which impacted my credit score. Breach of contract: They provided a single key despite the L/certified contract stating they need to provide at least 2 (master + valet). I am very disappointed that I had to pay for a simple diagnostic for a check engine light. Even though I have a certified Lexus under warranty. According to the service advisor, check engine light was caused for fuel cap not being tightened. As I had checked in front of the service advisor, it was tightened. To me it seems like it was a malfunction of the check engine light. Regardless, I was charged check engine diagnostic fees. Also, I want to point out that it took 4 hours for them to run a check engine light diagnostic. They did give me a rental but 4 hours seem long to check a light. read more

If we could give more stars we would! We purchased a car at Keyes Lexus and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. If you're looking for a Lexus dealership that gives outstanding customer service, then this is the place to go. On our first visit the car we were looking for was not available, but Dany and the staff worked tirelessly to meet our needs and find my parents their dream car! Initially we had a bit of a misunderstanding, but they made Dany and the management went above and beyond to stay true to their word and make things right. They found the car in the exact trim, we were searching for. They even went as far as searching other Lexus dealerships for the one we wanted and when they did traded for it so we could have the one we wanted! If I could give them 0 stars I would. Worst service I've ever received. First of all my service person was out and I had to go with someone else who I'm sure was annoyed that he had to be doing her work. He was not a very pleasant person. Seemed like he was so annoyed and was not having a good day. His attitude was not the best. I was told 2 hours and it almost took 3 hours. I didn't receive an update even after I messaged him to ask. I got the update once I was home with my car!!!! I got a ride to a different place because they only do 6 mile radius. Then he never messaged me and I had to get my own Uber back. Once I was there he was so blah. I have never received this type of service at Galpin and they've always gone above and beyond. Sad to say that my excellent experience was replaced with such a terrible one that Keyes Lexus has lost me as a customer. My Lexus needed an unexpected fuel pump replacement and after diagnosis I was told that this would be a $1000+ job. I asked the breakdown of the costs and was told that the part was $420 and labor was 200+/ hour. I pleaded with the service consultant to see what he could do about lowering the price due to Covid hardship. He told me he could give me a 10% discount. This still didn't seem reasonable so I started doing my research. On the LEXUS WEBSITE I found that my fuel pump part was actually $345. I immediately called the consultant to let him know that he was wrongfully upcharging me and that I would purchase the part myself if I needed to and give it to them. He said that's what the 10% discount was for. So basically I was never given a discount, he was just hiding the fact that he's a total snake and tried to upcharge me during a pandemic. After going back and forth w him I agreed on a Wednesday that they'd fix the car. He said the car would be ready on Sat. Sat comes around and I don't hear from him so I check in only to find out that he forgot to mention to me that the car would actually not be done until Tuesday. No loaner car was offered, no apology was given. I came back on Tuesday, picked up my car and drove off only to realize that their mechanics messed up the installation of my fuel pump, forcing me to take my car back in to fix THEIR mistake. No apology this time either, but a loaner car was offered. I picked up my car for the second time and even now my fuel gauge isn't working. I was told to "drive around " to see if it fixes itself. TLDR: I was severely overcharged, almost tricked into paying too much, had my car damaged during the maintenance, had my time completely disrespected, not notified that my 2 day maintenance turned into 6 days and not one single apology. I 100% believe that the consultant purposely "forgot" to tell me that my car would take several more days to fix since I called him out on misnaming the price on the part. Our time at Keyes Lexus ended in disappointment after wasting hours of our time. In the end, it felt as if our time wasn't valuable, and that we as potential customers weren't valued either. After a few hours negotiating (and long waits in between conversations) our lease deal, we finally came to an agreement, which felt awesome, but the car was not available for a few more days (Day 1) - Nasrin, our sales advisor was nice and communicative. End of day we felt good. Fast forward to day 2, we went in to sign the paperwork (the car was still not available ) because Jimmy, a sales manager pushed for us to come in as rates could change going into the new month. After an hour waiting for paperwork to be ready, we were finally able to speak with the financing agent Justin (who was pleasant) who informed us that they could only accept a limited amount of the down payment via cc. While this is understandable, it was the first time that anyone had informed us of the company policy. It was SUPER frustrating , as we had been at the dealership for over an hour and a half at this point. And had been eagerly awaiting our car's arrival. Nobody had informed us on policy for dp, which was the staff's negligence. Justin brought in Jimmy to see if they could do anything about the situation. At this point our option was to charge the max on cc and then pay $1200 more for the total lease length, or bring in the cash to pay the anticipated down payment. We were hopeful after so much time spent negotiating that they could make an exception or make an effort to mitigate the situation. It felt like our frustrations were dismissed and belittled by Jimmy, and then we asked to speak to the GM, Ramin. Ramin stuck very firmly to the policy and would not make any exceptions or modifications regarding lease price - but at this point the energy was already soured. Our frustrations were: 1) our time was not valued 2) the communication was not fully transparent and acute 3) we didn't feel that there was respect or understanding for our situation. Went to Keyes Lexus for my parents' GX's scheduled maintenance. The service advisor, Anthony, was kind and to the point. The dealership was pretty large, with modern furnishings. Their kitchen was fully stocked with beverages, though no solid foods were available; why that's the case, I still question it but no problem. The maintenance was done in a timely fashion, around 90 mins; Anthony was quick to outline what was done on the car and explained to me everything on the summary log in ways that I understood. They even washed the car, which was a neat little detail. The maintenance wasn't an issue at all. What I had an issue with was their sales team. This probably happened a few months before the maintenance, when I went to Keyes Lexus to browse through their inventory. I was particularly in the market for a GX, like the one my parents had. I was greeted by one of the members of the sales team, Ehsan. From there it was just downhill; when I told him I was window shopping for a GX he immediately switched his attitude. He showed me the few GX models they did have, which I understood were pretty short in stock everywhere, and that was it. Didn't pitch any offers they had, no deals, nothing. He was just on his phone while I checked out the cars. I was out of there within 15 minutes. No goodbye, no "please come again", nothing. His entire attitude revolved around the assumption that this kid couldn't possibly afford to buy a GX, so why even bother putting in the effort to sell him the car? He's just some 24-year-old kid in funky street clothes, no way he can afford a top-shelf car! Sorry I bothered showing interest in purchasing a car from your dealership. Absolutely horrible experience buying a used Honda Fit from Keyes Lexus. I was looking to temporarily downsize with an affordable car, and I chose this dealer because I assumed Lexus was reputable. They said they had performed a rigorous inspection and all was well. I declined to purchase a warranty because it would have been 40% of the value of the car, and I therefore expect to have to pay for some repairs in the future. What I did NOT expect was for the car to stall out and refuse to start the very FIRST time I tried to drive it after bringing it home. Clearly something is massively wrong with the battery, alternator, and/or starter, and it's ridiculous that after a "full inspection" I didn't get farther than 8 miles before the car literally did not work. Our salesperson kindly attempted to rectify the situation by coming to my home to jump start it, and he told us to get it looked at by the service department. However, instead of taking any pride in their work, the service team just told us we're on our own and there's nothing we can do. They even claimed that there is nothing wrong with the car! I'm pretty sure that if it will not DRIVE, something is wrong. I was completely mistaken to trust these shady crooks, and I would greatly urge everyone else to avoid them as well. read more

This dealership engages in dishonest business practices and lacks genuine customer service. I went there to purchase a Lexus, and after specifying exactly what I wanted, they gave me a spec sheet with the MSRP. When I showed them lower prices paid by others, they agreed to a price just a few hundred dollars higher. The sales rep (Kevin) kept going back and forth between me and the manager (Jimmy), telling me I had to pay only $200 for shipping since the car was over 100 miles away. They made me wait for four hours, which seemed like a deliberate tactic to frustrate me into agreeing to their terms. When I was finally expecting the paperwork with the agreed price, the manager showed up with a new sheet that included bogus charges for options like nitrogen gas-filled tires and an extended battery warranty adding over $600. On top of that, they lied about the shipping cost, raising it from $200 to $600, inflating the total cost by over $1,200. The manager had no intention of honoring the previous agreement and blatantly lied about his own discussions with the sales rep. I had to listen to more bogus excuses and analogies that made no sense, wasting even more of my time. To top it off, the manager reacted rudely when I accidentally touched his jacket during the conversation. This entire experience was filled with lies and deception, and I deeply regret wasting more than four hours of my precious time at this dealership. Fortunately, the next day, I purchased the same car that they claimed was hard to get from San Diego Lexus for $1,415 less in less than one hour! Terrible experience and customer service!!! I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and I had a terrible experience. First off I saw the listing off of Cargurus and the price was $1,000 cheaper than what was listing off their website. When I called to inquire about the vehicle I had asked what the OTD price was and I spoke to Hagop. He informed me that the pice was $44,700. I said I'll make an appointment as long as I can negotiate from this number, Hagop had told me they never lose a customer price wise, so I agreed on an appointment. I had also asked if the vehicle came with a second key fob, I was told he would find out and I told him sounds good. He informed me that if it didnt the used car manager would get me on COMPLETELY FREE, this was through text so i have proof (this should have been my first tell, to harp hard on when i signed the paperwork) this was on Thursday October 10th. When I arrived, Hagop was not available so I was told I'd have to speak with some one else and then they referred me to someone else. When I saw the vehicle I saw sun damage and hood damage that was not shown in any of the pictures. After I mentioned it to the sales person I asked if this could be fixed since it's sun damage, he said he could ask about it. I also mentioned the Cargurus price was $1,000 cheaper and the sales person told me that was completely false, i told him that if that was the case they were falsely advertising the vehicle price, the sales person told me that "THE DEALERSHIP AREN'T THE ONES WHO POST THEIR OWN VEHICLES ON THIS SITE" ( Second tell for me) and that they will have to file a complaint to the site. One quick search on google says that the dealerships ARE THE ONES WHO POST THEIR OWN VEHICLES FOR SALE. When I spoke numbers to the sales person he gave me a number completely different than the OTD price I had gotten over the phone. He quoted me $47,700. I was appalled as the price was several thousand above what I had been previously told. I told the sales person that I was told by Hagop a different number and the sales person had told me that was impossible and that Hagop was not at liberty to discuss numbers over the phone and that he would get in trouble for negotiating numbers with me. I was upset because I made the appointment on the premise that I could negotiate from $44,700. I was there for about 3 hours trying to get the number down to what I had originally been told over the phone and eventually left because the sales person was pushy and telling me to be "reasonable" even though the numbers weren't making sense at all! I left because I was told to meet them in the middle even though they were the ones who were being unreasonable. The day after Hagop called me and asked if I was still interested in this vehicle and I told him their deal was too high and that I'd look into another dealership, he told me to give him a number I'd be ok with and I said I didn't want to give him a number over the phone or insult him with a low number. He tried to get a better deal and told me that the OTD price would be $44,500, which was the final LOWEST price they could go. I said I'd sleep on it and let them know. I eventually looked around and figured the price was ok so I called up Hagop and told him I'm willing to come and do paperwork IF they could go lower, I was told that was the bottom line price and I said that's fine, I came by on Sunday October 13th. I wrote paperwork and mentioned SEVERAL TIMES about the second key fob and the sun damage. Hagop told me I'd get the appointments and just do paperwork, I said cool and even in the finance office I mentioned about the second key fob and sun damage and the finance person made a call to the sales people I spoke with and they said yes. I KNEW I SHOULDVE PUSHED HARDER because after I finished paperwork I told Hagop AGAIN that I'd wait for his call for when the appointment would be for the second key fob and the sun damage repair. I followed up MULTIPLE TIMES and he would seldomly respond with "I'll ask Arman" or "He's not in the office" I said thanks for the update and here we are 3 weeks later and nothing. I eventually emailed the Business manager and NOTHING. I would've thought they take care of customers since it's a luxury brand dealer but I guess just was wrong. Never again, I learned my lesson the hard way. Now I'm left with a truck with sun damage and no second key fob on the 3rd of November, WHICH BOTH WERE SUPPOSED TO BE COMPLETELY FREE AND PROMISED THROUGH TEXT! read more
