They first told me they did not run my credit only to check on my end and it showed that they did in fact run it. After getting the standard salesman runaround about the vehicle, we decided to go with the x1 at Keyes because of its clean vehicle history, relatively low miles, and newly replaced (or so we were told) break pads and rotors. Cut to 3 months into owning the vehicle and sure enough, break sensors go off!!! We bring the car back to Keyes and ask them what the deal is, and upon inspection they inform us that the break pads are worn to minimums and rotors need to be replaced... at our expense?! The salesperson clearly lied about the break life on the vehicle to make the sale because we had made it clear that this was a deciding factor between this and an identical x1 at another dealer. THESE SALESPEOPLE WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE AND GASLIGHT YOU INTO THINKING YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. Cut to another 2 months later, we are back again because the car keeps overheating. Not only do they want to charge us for the diagnostic when we paid for all the possible warrantees on the vehicle, every time we come in they tell us their "system is malfunctioning" and they "aren't able to pull up the warantees we purchased"?? NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO CHARGE US FOR A DIAGNOSTIC ON A CAR WE JUST PURCHASED THAT IS ALREADY SHOWING SIGNS OF BEING A LEMON. His reputation of being their top salesperson was encouraging and his big smile could warm over any potential cold hearted buyer. I have bought many cars over the years and I am quite knowledgeable so, my brother wanted me to do the negotiating. No problem!!! I love for that! Ruman was wonderful to work with and my brother left feeling satisfied with his new 2022 Red Lexus NX series SUV. We decided it would be better to purchase it out right avoiding interest. The interior is black leather with all the bells and whistles. Ruman let us know that the first 2 oil changes were complimentary. So I was sold a used Is 300, love how it looks. Right after I bought it I started having issues with the battery and when shifting from park to drive, I would feel a thump and lurch which never happened before. Took it in. They said nothing was wrong. I come to find the 90,000 or 100,000 mile service was never done, and they NEVER MADE ME AWARE. That's simple human decency, "hey I know your buying this new car, the service at a MAJOR service point hasn't been completed so you might wanna do that to make sure you don't run into any issues" that's what any decent human would have said and done, they charged me 250$ every time to say it was fine and I'm basically making it up. Shortly after my carb won't even turn on, and I come to find my fuel pump and my spark plugs are shot, one because they get replaced at 90k and two just age. So I did that repair. A week later my check engine comes on, I go to them to assess, it's my fuel injection, and it's 5500 to fix. Jimmy one of the managers proceeded to tell me it's the law only to inform Me of safety issues and it's NOT REQUIRED THAT THEY TELL ME ABOUT MY CAR NOT BEING SERVICED AND SOLD TO ME AS " A vehicle that's passed Lexus's rigorous inspection process" and has been approved, as well as its not the law to include the information that it has not been serviced on time. JIMMY wasn't helpful at all, he was extremely rude and the definition of why I will NEVER spend my money with Lexus or Toyota EVER AGAIN. I will tell you all family and friends to make sure to steer clear of this nonsense because that's wrong, deceitful, poor taste, everything that's wrong with car sales. JIMMY you did an absolutely great job of making sure I will never spend my money where I'm not valued or appreciated. As well as sold a piece of trash that needs just repairs upon repairs, I hope anyone making the choice to buy a used vehicle makes the right decision and stays FAR Away. THEY ALSO CHARGED ME 15000 over the established price, they showed me one price, know what I was trying to pay/ what range I wanted to be in, and STILL sold the car to me. NONE OF THE ADDITIONAL COST WERE MENTIONED. ever. Not once, I'm getting an attorney to sue these thieves. NEVER BUY A CAR HERE. It's an illegal practice called drip pricing, they claim they stated the price, I know they did not. The MANAGERS ACTUAL RESPONSE WAS " Well I wasn't there so idk what he said" and when I assured him I was not informed, ask the salesman, he said" how is the salesman supposed to remember " "he does hundreds of sales per month". Absolutely ridiculous, they even HAD THE DISCRETION TO TAKE 1000$ off the total and WOULDN'T EVEN DO THAT. Save your time and money, don't get stolen from. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. Samaneh Barzegar promised me a deal over text, told me everything was approved and ready, and assured me that I'd be taken care of once I arrived. When I got there, I was told something completely different. It felt like a bait-and-switch situation -- misleading, dishonest, and frustrating. The staff on the sales floor were rude and unprofessional. John was yelling and raising his voice directly at us, showing zero respect or courtesy. Samaneh was dismissive, unhelpful, and flat-out lied about what she had offered. The entire interaction was hostile and uncomfortable. The only positive experience came from the finance manager, who was kind, patient, and professional. They were the only person who actually showed genuine customer service and made an effort to help. Given the deception, wasted time, and overall treatment, I'm requesting compensation for this awful experience. I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB, contacting Lexus corporate, and leaving detailed reviews online so others know how poorly this dealership treats customers. It's shocking that this kind of behavior is allowed under the Lexus name. This dealership adds on extra fees that have no clear explanation. What's worse, depending on who you talk to, you'll get a completely different answer about the same fee. In our case, there was a $434 charge that made absolutely no sense. The salesperson who assisted us couldn't clearly explain what it was for, and when I mentioned that I work at the DMV, it was obvious her explanation didn't add up. Thankfully, the finance manager was kind enough to remove the charge, but the situation left me disappointed. A dealership should be upfront and transparent, especially when it comes to pricing. Her immediate manager lied, telling me that the car cannot be registered unless buyer's income is disclosed. Huh? Has the DMV ever asked for your income before registering your car? No! But Keyes claims it's a mandatory disclosure. LIARS! The General Sales Manager, who smells and dresses like he just stepped out of a service bay is incredibly rude, and he lies too. When I countered his offer for a car, he barked at me, "I don't negotiate!" Nothing further to discuss, I turned and walked to the exit. Samaneh chased me down, and insisted he never said that, no, no, never - I should absolutely not believe my ears - and he would accept my offer. So he LIED too, he does negotiate, and he's a BULLY. And her tactic is called GASLIGHTING. Did I mention the garbage fees they tack on? $3,000 for "just because we want to." Keyes Lexus are PIRATES. Even the cookies at the coffee room were burned and depleted, and looked sad. We couldn't pick up the car for a few days, and it had obviously gotten dinged while they had it. Their attitude, besides denying what we could see with our own eyes (GASLIGHTING) was that it was our fault because of their "aggressive pricing," so we took the risk ourselves that the car would be damaged. HUH? After taking delivery of the vehicle, there was even more bad news. Samaneh had assured me that the Navigation in the car was a feature that was installed and would always be available, and did not require a subscription. But what did we find out?
