Pie coupon -- not that I need a reason!
    Sarah W.

It just so happens that Key lime pie happens to be my second most favorite dessert and it's hard for me to find one that I don't like. I am a stickler though on the fact that I will refuse any specimen that is green in color since it's screams inauthentic. One of my local friends even handed me a coupon for this place, so it was one of three pie concoctions that we sampled during our vacation. Lucky us! The staff here are welcoming and able to handle crowds efficiently and kindly. The store is incredibly cute and has a wide array of Key lime products as well as souvenir type inventory. Great place to perhaps do one-stop shopping if customers are pressed for time or just don't like to spend time at multiple places. The pie was delicious. Tart, sweet, fresh, cool, refreshing, and nice crust. Highly recommend!

This is a must stop while visiting Key West. Cute little storefront on the main drag. We both had the key lime pie. The guy at the counter was very friendly and service was efficient. The pie was of course excellent. They also had a key lime cheesecake that looked wonderful. The walls and aisles are jam packed with anything you could think of made with key limes. Limited seating both inside and outside.

Love this place. The pie was cheesecake like in texture, and had less of a tart lime finish. I like how the whip cream topping was not too sweet, while the graham crackers crust was juat the right amount of thickness

We were on a quest for the best key lime and this was our first stop. Their key lime pales in comparison to Kermit's, but if you just wanna shove anything sweet in your mouth, go for it.

Delicious! They claim this is where the first key lime pie was made, and literally everything in the store is made with key limes. You can even buy the juice with a recipe on it, to make it at home yourself. My friend is eating the chocolate covered version and isn't sharing, so it must be pretty darn good. Mine was gone before I blinked! It's a slice of rich, creamy piece of heaven.

Let me start by saying the person that helped us was the absolute sweetest. While looking for another Key Lim in spot we stumbled up this one and so glad we did. All pies are made fresh in-house and we're delicious. We chose traditional and it was the best. The consistency and flavor was spot on. Not only did they have great pie, the store was full of delicious key limenpie treats. Brought home some cookies and now I wish I had brought more. If you only try one place, skip the bigger shops and support this small business.

The Callebaut coated key lime pie bar

Wow! The key lime pie was great but the chocolate coated pie bar was better. They use the best Belgian chocolate, I know because I have some at home - Callebaut 811 dark chocolate - despite the huge price increases on this chocolate. she showed us the 5kg bar This is a complete and rare commitment to quality. You're missing out if you go here and don't try it.

I enjoyed this hidden gem just a few blocks from the cruise port. The space is small, featuring a few two-person tables, a gift shop, and a selection of sweets. The key lime pie and coconut cream pie were incredibly satisfying--rich, flavorful, and delicious. Plus, the individual packaging makes them easy to take on the go (especially given the limited seating options). The prices are a bit high, but that's expected in a touristy area. However, the woman working there was very friendly and welcoming.

The Bakery is cute with bright lemon lime colors. The reason for 4 stars the pie , it was so sour had really strong taste of lime extract. Others than that the Bakery is cute and I liked all the things they had inside for sale .

Oops. Took a few bites before I remembered to snap a pic.

This was my fave key lime pie in Key West. Just the right amount of sweet. Wasn't too rich and heavy. The staff is nice. Tons of stuff to look at and buy in the shop.

Definitely a must stop place if you're visiting Key West. The original spot was cute inside with tons of Key lime items from cookies to Tea. The key lime pie it self was amazing ! 10/10

The service was excellent, and I had one of the strongest cups of coffee I've ever tasted. I ordered the French toast, and it was absolutely amazing. They also had a very good-looking selection of desserts and pastries that all looked delicious. There's something wonderfully quirky about the place, almost as if some old Key West spirit tucked away a little French café and enchanted it with the aroma of coffee, butter, and sugar. I wouldn't be surprised if the pastries were baked under a full moon. I would definitely return to try some of the other food. La Grignote is a delightful little find with great service, delicious food, and just the right amount of old-Key-West charm.

I would try this place again. Service was great. Keep in mind, they closed the kitchen by 2:45.

I've had dessert in the desert near Area 51, And underground in Antarctica, far from the sun. I've had it in graveyards, beneath moonlight so fair, And even in a dessert restaurant, yes, I've had dessert there! At Better Than Sex, the Fever was mine, And it tasted so splendid, so luscious, divine. I tried one of their special coffees as well, And it was so delicious, I nearly swooned under its spell. But the night's grandest moment, the finest display, Was when our waiter arrived with the desserts on a tray. He looked straight in my eyes as he named each delight, With a confidence both curious and wonderfully bright. My dessert was a huge phallus, impressive and grand, With two giant balls resting beneath it in hand. It was covered in "splooge sauce," a curious sweet stream, A dessert of such drama it belonged in a dream! I truly enjoyed this place and would gladly return If I lived nearby, where the sweet candles burn. I arrived around 7:30 a.m., and the place was already starting to get busy. Food They offer a very interesting assortment of donuts, including flavors you don't typically see elsewhere. Options like Blueberry Cheesecake, Brown Butter Hazelnut, and Cuban Coffee Cake stand out. I chose the Cuban Coffee Cake. It was essentially a spiced coffee cake shaped like a donut, topped with plenty of glaze and crumble. The portion was generous. It could easily feed two people, but I managed to finish the entire thing. For a beverage, I ordered a Mocha Latte. The flavor was very good, but it was served on the cool side. It was completely cold before I finished, and I ended up tossing the last portion. They only serve drinks in paper cups, not ceramic mugs. Although mugs were visible, I was told the health department does not allow them to use them. For me, coffee in a real mug always feels better than paper. Service I have mixed feelings about the service. The person taking my order seemed a bit on edge. When I asked about the mug situation, she appeared annoyed that I would even ask. Since it was my first visit, I asked about the most popular donut, and that also seemed to irritate her. I rephrased and asked for her personal favorite instead, which she answered more willingly. I noticed a few other staff interactions, and the overall tone of the crew felt tense. Not sure if that's typical or if it was just a busy morning. Atmosphere I took a small table inside to finish my coffee and donut. There are several small tables, best suited for two people. Toward the back of the dining area there were boxes and pallets visible. This isn't necessarily a place you visit for ambiance. Most people grabbed a box of donuts and left. Only a handful were dining inside. If you want a good donut with creative flavors, this place delivers. Just don't expect a relaxed coffee shop experience with welcoming, friendly staff.
