Portland glass can definitely offer a better price than the dealership and guarantees their work in…read moreseveral ways, however, I find their actual window replacement and calibration process questionable. When I asked my dealership about their window replacement process, they said it took two days. They replaced the window and let the epoxy cure overnight. The next day they would calibrate the windshield to work with all of the internal tech systems. That is the process at Bmw. I also had a similar experience with Mercedes a couple years ago on another car. It's usually a two day process. I decided to go with Portland glass because they assured me that they allow several hours for care time before they recalibrate. Well, come to find out when I called about the status of my car, they told me it was ready the same morning they started the job! She said the epoxy only takes about 20 to 30 minutes to cure... Will the windshield be OK and work perfectly in my car ? I guess that will be determined. Am I disappointed and feel misled? Yes. Am I concerned my windshield will have an issue in the future? Yes Portland glass can save you money and hopefully everything works out fine ... but if you have a high-end car and a lot of tech in your car that needs calibration with the windshield like mine, you may want to think twice. I wish I knew this before.

Two gentlemen showed up, on time, and did a great job. Quick total cleanup, of the area, very professional - couldn't have asked for any better job done! Very happy - you rarely find this kind of professional service, anymore, from the lady who answered the telephone and scheduled, to the two very knowledgeable installers!

I had the absolute worst experience with Safelite when replacing my windshield. On February 28, I…read morehad my windshield replaced through them since it was partially covered by my insurance. At first, everything seemed fine, but less than two weeks later, on February 12, I noticed a long crack spreading across the glass while driving--without hearing any impact whatsoever. Since the replacement came with a "lifetime warranty," I went back to the Safelite location expecting them to honor it. Instead, I was met with excuses and denial. The technician pointed out a barely visible impact mark and used that as an excuse to void the warranty. When I asked what kind of glass they used, I was shocked to find out it was an aftermarket Pilkington windshield--a flimsy, subpar replacement compared to the original manufacturer's glass. Let's get this straight: I've been driving my car for years without any windshield issues. Then, less than two weeks after getting a replacement from Safelite, it suddenly cracks, and they refuse to stand by their so-called "lifetime warranty." What kind of scam is this? Bottom line: Safelite uses cheap materials, offers worthless warranties, and refuses to stand by their work. If you want to waste your money and deal with frustration, go ahead and use them. Otherwise, stay far away!

I had a windshield replacement scheduled for May 23rd, between 12-5 pm. Living in New England, any…read moretype of weather can pop up at anytime. I understand that. The installation guy Ryan from the Nashua NH Amherst Street office calls to tell me he's at my car, and there's no car port to work under, and because his phone is predicting rain, he's not going to do it. "Ok, I get that, I said, but it's not raining at the moment. I also said It said thunderstorms all morning and it's 1:00 pm and it still hasn't happened." I felt as though he was being cautious yes, but also pushing off the job. No rain and I'm writing this at 2:00 pm., btw. Anyhow, I ask if they carry pop up tents for New England weather, and he comes back with, No! Tents?! I'm just the installer, not the owner of the company! Call them and tell them I don't carry pop up covers, that's not my job. I deal with CUSTOMERS LIKE YOU ALL THE TIME, & THEY GET A WET INTERIOR AND WATER DAMAGE AND THEY CALL AND BLAME IT ALL ON ME. NOW, Just because you're being difficult, I AM REFUSING TO DO THE JOB." WOW, first off, it was just a question, I said, "I've already agreed w you on a reschedule, I never once said I would blame anything on you!" A customer service rep should NEVER TELL A CUSTOMER THEYRE ANYTHING! So I tell him I feel as if he has a giant attitude, to relax. He starts ranting over my voice and completely cuts me off to tell me something like "now I am pushing your job off, even thought it's still not raining,I'm not losing his job so YOU can have a Window today." SUPER RUDE, SUPER IGNORANT, SUPER ABNOXIOUS. He starts laughing and sarcastically says "My office will be in touch," and hangs up the phone. THIS GUY NEEDS AN ATTITUDE adjustment and a class on CUSTOMER SERVICE. Sorry that's your career, if your that angry at customers find another job, RY GUY lol PS, it's now 5 pm, and just an update: it's sunny as heck and never rained. Not one drop. I've got pictures showing the weather at this moment and it's been like this all afternoon. It's still 83 degrees out. The job takes 2 hours. You called me at 1. Argued with me until 1:10. The office called me at 2, to reschedule. And it's now 5:05 PM and my window could've been done during the 3 hours left in the 12-5 PM time frame i booked. Awesome job. Another dissatisfied customer.

When comes to choosing where to get our car windows tinted in or around the 603 region, we're…read morecertainly stock for choice. Typically, I rule out my selections starting with price. But also....quality. And I'm here to tell ya....Sunjack Glass Tinting definitely provides both. Fun fact btw: my son actually got his car tinted from this very location several months back. Apropos, I decided to grab a price quote for myself. It's important to note that pricing will vary depending on which of the 3 grades of tint you choose. You can book an appointment in advance, so long as you pay the deposit fee up front. Mine was $50. Since I went with the ceramic grade tint (better for blocking UV rays and heat), the total for both windows was $150. This shop accepts cash, card, and even tap-to-pay (my personal favorite). With all the technical and financial stuff out of the way, a few caveats for the wise.. First, this place may be tricky to find for first timers; but not impossible. For reasons even the owner can't understand, they (the city) won't allow him to hang the Sunjack Tint sign outside the building. So, just look for the blue house across from the Nashua Glass shop and you'll know you're in the right place. In front of the garage, there's a big blue truck with the license plate "TINTGOD". I thought that was a rather nice touch, too! ;) Beyond the truck, there's a parking lot to the left with another small white car sporting the Sunjack Tint logo on the back. I'm not sure if these two vehicles are always on premises. But I figured that may help a few folks trying to navigate this place the first time around. Second (and this point is wicked important), after you get your tint applied, do not...I repeat....DO NOT roll down your windows for at LEAST 96 hours (or 4 days). Otherwise, you may end up with bubble wrap for window tint when all's said and done. And no....I did not make this error in judgment. But Kevin (cool dude, btw) told me a wicked funny story about another customer who did this not even 3 minutes after leaving the shop. That's 180 seconds. The guy couldn't even wait! XD Final caveat: park the vehicle outside during that initial 4 day period. Helps the adhesive do its thing faster or something. I'm not a tint expert or anything. I just listen to the guys who do this sort of thing for a living. And lemme tell ya...these guys ARE experts at their craft! Oh...one post note I nearly forgot to mention: they no longer do vehicle wraps. For whatever reason, it didn't work out so well in the past so....ignore whatever the site says. Now that I mention it, their webmaster might wanna update said website. Yelp as well. Clearly, this is the place to go for auto tint if you're in or near the Nashua area. Average two window job only takes less than an hour. And this may be the first business with a number you can call AND text! With that, I hereby give Sunjack Glass Tinting 5 shiny ceramic sheets of tint out of 5.
